MV Nails Salon is located in La Plata, MD, next to Lab Corp and in the same shopping center as Panera Bread. MV Nails Salon is my new go-to nail salon! I have been keeping my eye out to when they were open for business and they did not disappoint. This salon follows Covid safety procedures by having the shields up at the nail stations as well at hanging at the pedicure stations and everyone wearing masks. A beautiful and clean salon with the most friendliest people. The services that I asked for were 2 fill-in's and 1 pedicure. My mom was the other fill-in and she is VERY picky about how her nails look. I received my pedicure and my feet felt and looked great! I did not tell them that I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis and my feet and hands were swollen. That's how gentle they were. When getting my nails filled, you can tell the gentleman doing my nails was looking at the how I liked my nails shaped before proceeding with the service. He only filled the part of my nail that needed the fill, not my entire nail which I was thankful for so it doesn't alter my nail shape. He was very gentle as well. As for my mom's service, she LOVED her nail tech. Her nail tech did the same of filling what needed to be filled and kept the shape of my moms nail that she likes. Her nail tech and the rest of the techs were very nice to my daughter and patient ( my daughter has Autism ). I'm with another reviewer. I almost want to keep this place a secret, so I can have it all to myself. :) They are WONDERFUL. My daughter and I just visited - having a little lunch time pamper session. The staff was AMAZING. The salon is really nice and clean. (Covid precautions in place w/ sterilizing, etc..). My daughter and I both enjoyed our services ( 2 pedi's, 1 gel mani and a fill). Lynn did such an awesome job with our pedi's. I appreciated Vin being so meticulous with my manicure. The several coats were a PLUS - as my natural nails are fragile. I also have to mention Ms. Cookie - who did my daughter's fill. My daughter loves the shape and the acrylic is nicely done. I wanted to give this place two stars, but I'll give it 3 stars because of the ambiance. They took us in right away. DISCLAIMER: the price does not match the quality of work! My nails, as a fill in, with one nail repair, gel polish, and one "marble" nail, costed $62 (picture attached). The pedicure was WONDERFUL!!! Extremely good and detailed. But again, they charge $25.00 for gel Polish in addition to a $30-$35 pedicure. Most places charge between $10-$15. If the quality was up to par to match the price, I wouldn't have any complaints. Even for fill-ins, nails should be reshaped accordingly. As you can see, my nails look a mess. I will not return for nail services. read more

This salon is so cute inside! My daughter and I went one Saturday morning and received great service. I got a gel mani and pedi and my daughter got a full set and pedi. I believe the two people who serviced us are husband and wife and both were very friendly. The husband did our nails...he took his time and we both were very pleased with the results. The wife did our pedicures and we were both pleased with her as well. I will definitely be visiting again. Next time, I'll remember to take pictures of our nails and toes! read more

First time visiting this salon but won't be the last. Mrs. Annie was a true delight. I walked in and was greeted immediately. Such great service from everyone which can be hard to find. I was given water during my service and was asked before service what I wanted. I received a gel fill in and a pedicure. Both services were completed with care and not rushed. MV nails salon is a great place to get your manicure and pedicure needs and on the plus side is so relaxing and super clean. It is a family owned business and customer service is excellent. I come to get my manicure and pedicure needs here everytime and they do not charge $5 for using credit/debit card for payment nor do they rush you to get to the next customer. My daughter and I have been going to MV Nail Salon for years! We would not go anywhere else. I travel from Baltimore to join my daughter (who lives in Southern MD) to get our nails done together. It is well worth the drive! They are the absolute BEST. You will not find a cleaner place around, their prices are reasonable/comparable, and they are always accommodating, professional, and timely! I just moved here and was looking for a nail salon. Took a chance on this place because they don't have many reviews (found out they only opened 6 months ago so that makes sense) and SO glad I did! I have never had such care and consideration taken towards me and my nails. They were the exact length and shape I asked, and there was not a single spot missed! Jay did an amazing job on my nails. The salon is very serene and Relaxing. Parking was spacious and business easy to locate. My services were a gel fill and gel pedicure. Jay assisted me with shaping and I told him what I wanted and he delivered. It was a little pricey, I went over my planned budget but my nails came out gorgeous and last longer than the previous service I received at another salon. this is my new fave nail salon in southern maryland! i've tried a handful of places before finding this place! the environment is very clean, quiet, and peaceful. the staff is nice and they always bring you water! a gel manicure costs $40 plus a tip of course. this even includes getting previous gel polish off. both times i've been, my nails have turned out great and they are so gentle! overall, this is a great place and worth the price! read more
