DJ Jaime and Mat were the BEST team to work with! They made me feel so at ease leading up to the wedding. Mat helped me with the timeline and gave me great tips of how to make the reception flow seamlessly and totally improved all of the transitions throughout the night. Where do I even begin! One of the most important parts of my wedding for me and my fiance was the music. Before I even started looking, I knew I needed the BEST of the best. The first thing that drew me to MVMNT was that they seemed to keep up with music trends. Let me just say that MVMNT DJs are the best at what they do. We had DJ Rufio serve as our MC/DJ for our wedding in Oct 2020. From the beginning, he was there for us and made sure everything went smoothly since the world had descended into chaos due to the pandemic. Even though we took every safety precaution, little did we know that we were going to get hit with 50 mph winds on our big day which was entirely outdoors. Despite the tornado like conditions, DJ Rufio's excellent sound system cut through the wind and our vows were clearly heard, the music was excellent, and we had a great time dancing the evening away. Matt DJ'ed the ceremony and reception for my wedding on October 15, 2022 and I would highly recommend him. We spoke with Matt about a week before the event and he was lovely to talk to and put us both at ease. All of our requests for the event were incorporated, from the songs that were incorporated into the ceremony to when we wanted the fade-outs for the official dances. Mat DJ'd our wedding in Healdsburg in October and he did an AMAZING job! When we were picking our wedding vendors we were really choosy with picking people who gave us good vibes. Mat is awesome. We've been to so many weddings where the DJ was obnoxious or made it about himself and this was so not the case. He really worked with us to make sure that he was playing exactly what we wanted and was super communicative throughout the entire process. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in three different places on the venue property and he was able to make it all work. We booked Jaime for our wedding after a recommendation for MVMNT DJs from a friend. I only met with him once before the wedding, but I was also in contact with Mathew regularly to make sure all of the details were perfect. He made the planning easy from start to finish. Now I have to mention a couple of reasons why Jaime deserves five stars-- I am a total music snob. I love music, I love to dance, and the music was probably the most important part of my wedding to me. I let Jaime and Mathew know what I had in mind: 80s music, cumbias, indie music, and hip hop. We started to plan our destination wedding to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico when we realized that one of the important things we both wanted to make our wedding what we wanted, was the music. Our wedding planner told us that the "DJ" down there wouldn't necessarily be an emcee, they wouldn't announce things, and they would just play music. Since the music was vital, we threw out the idea of having Mike come from NorCal to DJ our wedding. We thought it was a bit of an outlandish request but decided to ask anyway. Within one day, Mike replied with an enthusiastic "I'M SO DOWN!" Mike was...EPIC! He was extremely professional. He was very willing to work with us on the playlists/what not to play.
