MVPita was recommended to us by some workers in our home. They mentioned that even though it looks like it is in the urgent care, it really is it's own restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Christian, once we walked in the door. He was so helpful with the menu and making sure as a celiac - gluten free girl, that I could safely eat. There was a ton of tables and seats available and even TV's to watch on The walls. The food was brought to our table and it was delicious. The tzatziki sauce was our favorite with the tahini sauce coming in a close second. The garlic sauce was amazing but SUPER strong. I had a salad with my dinner and their house dressing was soooooo good. I took my own GF pita with me but I'm not sure if I need to next time - I was given a plate of cucumber sliced to eat with the hummus and it was divine. My son and I happened upon this place and it was great from start to finish. This is a family owned and operated business with years of service to the community. It's a staple of authentic Lebanese-inspired traditional recipes. Food is fresh and delicious plus excellent service. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. We actually met the owner who took our order and he had great recommendations. I went with their MVP burger and my son got the Gyro pita. The burger was absolutely delicious. Juicy, the grilled onions and sauces plus the combination of toppings all came together for a super tasty burger. My son liked the pita, but wasn't a fan of the Tzatziki sauce. We shared fries that were cooked to perfection. Crispy and seasoned well. They have excellent affordable weekday specials for gyros some can be around $5! Also, deals on their shawarma which make for an inexpensive, yet high quality meal you can afford on a budget and splurge during the work week! Note- the pita sauce seems to be made with a thick greek yogurt! The most unusual consistency we've found yet and in our opinion not to flavorful. We'd skip that next time. Came in on a Sunday around 3 pm. There were two separate group dinning indoors. I was going to eat on the patio but it was too cold. So we ate inside where the person who took our order brought our food to us. They have a soda machine and utensils next to it. There is plenty of seating and I was even able to watch the Olympics on tv and 49'ers game on another. They have 7 total TVs. There are two bathrooms towards the back. Staff is really friendly and inside is clean. Can be confusing to find as there is an urgent care Nextdoor as well as another door. Will def be back as everything was fresh & tasted amazing! We have been going to MVPita since they opened years ago and just revisited for lunch this week. I was so happy to see the same recipes and outstanding food is the same. Their Lamb Kabob Plate is my favorite and my husband loves their Gyros and Chicken Shwarma Plate. Hummus is smooth and creamy. Love their dolmas and Spinach Pie. Meats are seasoned well, the chicken shawarma tasted premium (sometimes it can be over seasoned or dried out at other restaurants) and the lamb kabob was perfectly flavorful. The baba ghanoush has a strong smoky flavor to it, which I love but might not be for everyone. The spicy humus is really tasty, not spicy at all though. Love the shawarma and steak! I wish I could give more stars!! We went here today for the first time & it was amazing! We started eating before I remembered to take pictures unfortunately. We tried a little bit of everything- hummus, tabouleh, gyro, steak, burgers, fries, baklava, etc. Across the board everything we ate was so fresh and tasty. No one at the table had a single complaint about anything we ate. The baklava was the best I've ever had! The service was absolutely amazing for being a quick service type of restaurant. I'd like to mention that I am a new mom nursing my baby who has a severe dairy allergy so eating out makes me nervous, but the owners were so knowledgeable about the menu and were very helpful in letting me know specifically what items I could and couldn't eat which was so amazing and I am so grateful. You can tell that the people here care about what they serve. I cannot wait to come back again. We crave mediterranean food, A LOT. I've been following MVPita on Instagram for a while, and figured last night was a good night for delivery, and I'm not disappointed! The gyro meat, chicken, and falafel were so good and flavorful and well seasoned. The hummus is also the best I've had in a while! My only issue was just the packaging of the hummus, the drizzle of oil seeped out and soaked the paper bag. Their tzatziki sauce and Greek salad dressing were very good, and I would have doused all my food in them. We also ordered their MVP fries and were surprised with how lemony they tasted, but it works! The citrus flavor cuts the fatty meats and really rounds out the food. Tried this restaurant finally after I had someone sing their praises. Very underimpressed. Ordered a Gyro Plate - which consisted of a pita and shredded gyro meat. Normally, I expect gyro meat in long, thick strips. Here, longest strip was about an inch long. Granted - there was a good amount but it was all little shreds and shards and almost crumbs, and mostly very thin. The plate comes with two sides, like rice, fries, etc. EVERY other Greek/Mediterranean restaurant that I have ever visited (and I have visited MANY around the world) - the plate had lettuce, tomatoes, onions, feta cheese, dressing on that, and a bunch of rice. Nice and juicy - but not here. The meat and the rice were very dry. At least the soup that I added was hot - that is why this review wasn't a 1 star. I don't think I will be returning, especially since there are other restaurants that are less expensive and provide a better experience very nearby. read more
