We stopped into The Greek Spot spontaneously and were so glad we did. I ordered the lamb gyro for under $10, which already felt like a win, but it also tasted amazing. Great portion size, perfectly seasoned lamb, and honestly everything I'd want in a gyro. Super satisfying and didn't feel skimpy at all. My friend got the Philly cheesesteak and it looked super cheesy and delicious. She said it was great! On top of the food, the cashier was incredibly kind and very professional, which made the whole experience even better. The place was relatively small, so you may need to take it to go if it's busy! Went to this restaurant because of proximity to our house and rating, albeit, just a few. Ordered the lamb gyro and my wife ordered the Philly steak sandwich fried zucchini sticks and fries. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. Service was efficient and friendly. The place is clean and decorated well. read more

Well.. I hate reviewing restaurant from take out specially first review/new restaurant. But oh well. Ordered lamb gyro sandwich, order of fried zucchini, and fries. Unfortunately most of the fries were soggy even though it was short drive. Fried zucchini was not bad but ranch dressing could have been better. Lamb gyro was pretty good. But it was typical lamb gyro nothing special but at least it was on the better than some level. I had my kid go pick up the order so I did not get pictures from inside the restaurant. Sorry for lack of pictures. I was told they have daily special. I will definitely come back and try some other dishes. read more

We come here for the gyros but other items we've seen looked every bit as good. There are at least a half dozen Greek/gyros places closer to us, most with a wider ranging menu. The gyros meat is cut thick, juicy not burned, and piled high. Amazing cuke/tszatsziki sauce. Always fresh onions and tomatoes all served on a fluffy thick pita. Substantial fries done nicely golden. Small place with 4-5 tables. Order at the counter and if you're eating there they'll bring it to your table. Friendly and appreciative of their "guests". Unbelievably fantastic. The food is great, price is great, and the service is unmistakably great. They were very accommodating to me as somebody new to the world of Mediterranean food. I've only had a couple of other spots before, so do with that as you will, but man, was the gyro pita delicious. My girlfriend got the salad and it was equally amazing. Tried this place for the first time today. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. I assume it was the owner serving the food and he was great to speak with and very enthusiastic. New place that just opened up! Have been wanting to try since they've opened and it was definitely worth the wait. One of the best gyros and fries I have had! It's a small menu but 100% worth it because the quality was really yummy. They have take out and they make everything fresh so service is on par! If you want to eat there, they have a few tables! No TVs with sports on-Just Greek music with a Greek soap opera on the one TV - so true Greek restaurant. I loved it all and will be back and would recommend it to everyone! #yum PS my fries were fresh when I got home. Great small, family-owned restaurant. No unnecessary bells and whistles, just good Greek food. The food prep is a little slower than others but, as you watch your meal being assembled, it becomes endearing because of the level of attention that's put into each dish. No rushing and slamming food on a plate here. Steady and intentional. We had the lamb gyro with a side of hummus. Both were wonderful. The gyro was loaded with meat and tzatziki sauce which some spots skimp on. Hummus was made fresh with plenty of tahini and served with an olive, four slices of cucumber and warmed strips of grilled pita bread. Excellent. We will be back! read more

Tried this place for the first time. Had a lamb gyro plate and a chicken gyro. Everything was good - portions were generous, food was freshly prepared, staff was friendly, service was prompt. The inside was sparse but clean. Prices fair. The AC here was much more comfortable than the other 'gyro place' up the road which was previously our favorite spot. The Greek Spot wastes your time as you wait for the employee to idle on their phone. This is good if you want to feel stupid. Not too long ago this was a spaghetti restaurant that couldn't handle spaghetti. I didn't even bother to order. read more

I've been meaning to post since our first visit but with holidays, etc., didn't get around to it. I think posting now is even better since we've eaten here 2 additional times. We have found the food and service to be consistent and we look forward to going back. This is not "fast food", the couple running this certainly take pride in their craft. The food is absolutely delicious, portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. I always get the gyro (lamb) sandwich and make it a meal with fries and drink for just $3 more. These are solid, piping hot fries cooked just right (not greasy or soggy). I always have left overs for the next day which is a bonus. My hard to please husband truly enjoys eating here and has tried both they gyro (lamb) and gyro (chicken) sandwiches and was impressed. I did order a cup of Avgolemono soup for take out once and it was amazing as well. The inside is small, well kept and clean. We truly appreciate the quality of food and overall experience and highly recommend this restaurant! read more
