Definitely no shortage of cookies here! MCDP was a welcome sight after a couple of hours of walking around Riverhead. The name alone drew me in and thankfully so, I was exhausted from the beat down from the summer sun. The AC was minimally on it seemed and the padded chairs were quite comfy after all the walking. Any cover from the sun is helpful. All the cookies varieties were in stock and individually wrapped to go. It is a hefty price per but thankfully the cookie itself is also quite filling. These aren't the thin & crunchy variety. The staff was very accommodating and warmed up my cookie which always a nice touch. I went with a S'more's cookie and an Ice Cream Twix bar. The table tops were a little crummy and may need just a little bit of tidying up to be honest. I'm sure this will be popular once the summer is in full blast. read more

I went to this cookie shop at Riverhead Tanger Outlet. What others described on Yelp, as a pop-up shop, may be a permanent fixture now, as those reviews are a few yrs old. When I walked in, i smelled the amazing aroma of coffee - which I don't drink. I was greeted by Josh. I asked in a silly manner, if the shop was for humans because of the signage representing '2 Deaf Dogs'. Josh shared the back-end story of 2 Deaf Dogs - where they rescue hearing impaired dogs (Dalmatians) that some shelters may have to put down. I'm not an animal lover, but he & his wife's passion is lot to be admired. Now onto the cookie! I ordered Death by Chocolate. The cookie is more like a cake cookie - not flat & crispy like store bought. There was chocolate ganache inside & Josh offered to heat it for me, but I opted to do so @ home w/his heating directions for my evening snack. Since this is not a traditional cookie, you won't get traditional cookie prices. After all, when you shop, read the room, look at the company that a store is in the presence of. Tanger is not a shopping mall. So, no...do not expect to pay $2 for a gourmet handmade cookie. Although this is not my usual favorite type of cookie, it was delightful to try. And most importantly, I wanted to support their business. As a homemade ice cream maker, I can appreciate their hard work; this motivates me to get my own business license. I live in Buffalo and received my cookies today (not too far away). I opened the first of 20, Death By Chocolate and was very underwhelmed. The cookie was hard and dry. The Instagram ads hooked us because it looked so sinful you had to take a bite. I expected gooey decadence and was left with dry and bland. The preface, my order from Fat & Weird cookie came last week and they truly are gooey and fresh. The owners stand by the fact that everything is fresh baked. How can you not think of contraband when you hear the name of this place? I mean My Cookie Dealer just sounds like it's selling things that should be confiscated, and yet, everything it totally legal at this pop-up storefront. Better yet, things are super tasty too! My fiancée and I learned this a few weeks back when we purchased some cookies and dove into the flavors. Take a step back for a sec while doing a little research and you'll learn that My Cookie Dealer really earned its street cred through online ordering. Their massive cookies were a digital purchase only...until they let the physical factor click by opening in Tanger Outlets out in Riverhead. This storefront is not anything to write home about and really looks like something that could close at any moment (hence the pop-up factor), but it's there and you should go. Now. That's what my female and I realized when we found ourselves in Tanger and remembered seeing Instagram posts about this storefront. When we entered, there was a menu of delectable cookies available which made it hard to choose just one or two. We went for five cookies and, despite the box size, this didn't necessarily offer up any discount in price. You might not save money, but it's hard to choose just a couple. Our cookies ranged from chocolatey (ganache-filled), to seasonal (pumpkin creme-filled), to just plain delectable (peanut butter-filled). Whatever filler these morsels had just made them that much more enticing. Now one quick note about My Cookie Dealer should be that you can get these bad boys made fresh, though there's a bit of a wait time for that. We chose to take the prepackaged route and brought our cookies home to be heated up via microwave. A few seconds is all it takes to reach warm, gooey glory. Just know that the size of these cookies will probably help you span several desserts. Hey, maybe some people can eat a whole one of these in just a single sitting, but I wish them good luck on their blood sugar if that's the case. Overall, My Cookie Dealer is a glorious spot to get your cookie on. It might not be much to look at and each cookie packs a price (with a calorie kick to boot), but they're worthy of purchase from their great flavor choice, size, and taste. My sister needed to munch on something and we saw this place. It seemed early for a cookie but we went in anyway cuz COOKIES! They also sell beverages and other merch. From the looks of the cookie, it looked hard and dense. But we decided to give it a shot anyway. Here's what we got: - OG chocolate chip - Milk chocolate rainbow - Oatmeal - Chocolate Smores All in all, we spend $24. Yes. $24 for 4 big ass cookies . They were good - I'm glad they weren't hard like I thought! They were pretty huge, though. So I understand why they cost so much. Will I try them again? This place started with letting you know through their social medias when you can order their cookies. They recently open a pop-up store at the Tanger Outlets (don't know for how long so far it's every Friday to Sunday from 10AM to 7PM) and you can see the 20 cookie flavors. Of course, you can order online and pick up from their cookie locker. The cookies and drink menu flashes on the tv screens so you can check out what to want while you wait. The line goes by quick so have a little patience. There is a photo opportunity if you want to show off your goodies. The employees are friendly. We ordered Cookies: - Don't Be Tripping - Sticky Bun - this one was good. Drinks: Cold Matcha Latte with a dash of vanilla - this drink didn't have a lot of matcha flavor and watery. Peachy Pig - lemonade with peach flavoring and a cute gummy pig. This was surprisingly refreshing. Shark Bite - lemonade with butterfly pea flower to me for the blue color. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars is mainly the prices. I asked my brother when we were shopping if he wanted a milkshake and he said yes, of course! I wasn't expecting the price of the milkshake for something in a 16oz cup as well as something that I can make at home. The cookies definitely looked delicious and I wish I bought one to try it, but we only went in for the milkshake today. I understand this is a local business which is why I am only brought it down one star from the original 4 stars it had. Hopefully prices can come down once the economy gets back into shape, but until then unfortunately, I probably won't be going back. read more

When I first walked into this place, I thought I was in a clothes store. Once you get to the counter, there was a whole bunch of pre-packaged cookies that you can choose from. These cookies were very expensive and not worth the money. These cookies were so sweet that you most likely will get your weekly recommended intake of sugar in one serving. If you have blood sugar issues, stay away. You are better off baking your own cookies or going to Costco or a bakery for cookies. It is hard to understand what the hype is. read more

Okay, first thing is first... everything is super over priced especially considering what you get. Second, their lemonade is absolutely abhorrent. Not a drop of lemon was used in the making of that disgusting concoction. They were nothing but water and syrup, which was so disgusting and overly tart. If you were dying of thirst, I would say avoid their lemonade and drink your urine instead. As far as their cookies go... 1. They are not fresh, thus do not deserve being priced as if it was. Also they taste mass manufactured and full of artificial flavors. You can buy better and fresher cookies from 7 Eleven. 2. They were simply okay. Not delicious, just meh. Bought 10 cookies for about $55 + shipping. In my opinion, they're really not great. They're so hyped I wanted to give them a shot but I definitely wouldn't buy again. They're a bit dry, a little better tasting than grocery store bought cookies but with over the top toppings and chocolate.
