I cannot say enough about Sue. She's absolutely a god send. When I moved back to LA, I didn't have anyone to check on my kitties. Sue was super responsive during the initial steps of obtaining a quote and even came to my apartment to meet me and the girls. She's looked after my girls on several occasions now, and I must say I've never been happier with a cat sitter. She sends me updates and photos, plays with the cats, even asks Alexa to play chill music for them while I'm away. I found Sue on Yelp, and despite the small number of reviews, Sue was absolutely wonderful in taking care of my 6 month old kitten Piper while I was gone for about a week. I was initially a little skeptical because there was no website or anything, but as soon as I spoke with Sue, I felt much better. When I first called her, she was very friendly and easy to talk to on the phone. She is very willing to work with you to find the best schedule, and she has no requirements regarding minimum visits (as some other services do). She also clearly has a love for animals, which showed when she came for the initial visit to meet our cat and get all the necessary info about feeding, cleaning, etc. We felt really good about leaving our cat for the week, with Sue making a few visits to check food and clean the litter box, and generally make sure the cat didn't destroy our apartment. She even went so far as to clip Piper's nails...something we don't do enough! All in all, our place was just as clean, if not cleaner, when we returned from our trip! I would highly recommend Sue to anyone in the Palms/Culver City area. We actually live so close to Sue (walking distance), that she only charged us $15 per visit, as opposed to the normal $25, which is still a great rate. If you have any need for your pet to be watched while you are away, do not hesitate to contact Sue. She will take care of your pet as if it were her own! Sue watched our two cats while we were out of town, and she was simply wonderful! Everything from the ease of arranging (with her coming by prior to our trip to meet the cats and go over the details) to the communication to the care was excellent. She provided us with daily updates with photos by text and was kind and reliable. Having moved to LA in September, I had no idea where to turn when the holidays came around and I needed somebody to look after my cat, Jupiter. I was feeling incredibly uneasy about having my cat put in a cage for hours on end at a stuffy boarding facility, so I decided to look further into having someone come to my home. Luckily, thats when I stumbled upon Sue, and she has been absolutely fantastic! I reached out at the last minute, but she was still so kind and open to accommodating us, even though our home was out of her regular radius. Upon meeting Sue when she came to the house for a meet-and-greet, I immediately felt that she genuinely cares for and loves the pets she looks after, and has a true passion for doing so. She gave me suggestions that would make Jupiter feel more comfortable when we were gone (like putting classical music on), and assured me that she would make sure Jupiter would have enough food, a clean litter box, fresh (filtered!) water, and some quality attention/exercise every single day. Sue also makes a point to send photos of your furbaby every day, too-- which drastically calmed my separation anxiety. Additionally, at $30 per visit, Sue's services are fantastically and fairly priced-- which is always an excellent perk. Aside from her wonderful care for the pets she sees, Sue is also a really fun and interesting human! I've had wonderful conversations with her, and feel so safe and comforted knowing she's taking care of our girl. As a very picky and very anxious pet parent, I can say with 100% confidence that Sue is by far the best (and coolest) in-home pet sitter you'll find! You will not be disappointed. We originally used Sue over 10 years ago to train our puppy Lucky and it was immediately apparent how much she loves animals. After we saw how well she interacted with Lucky, as well as our older dog, we started using her pet sitting service. Sue has taken care of my two cats on several occasions and she is amazing. She has the biggest heart for animals, even quickly winning over one of my cats who's very shy and doesn't take to strangers easily. For someone who is just used to a cat sitter coming and feeding and cleaning their litter box she went far beyond what was expected. When I come home after several days my cats are happy, their electric waterer is fully cleaned and full of water, the carpet near their litter box has been vacuumed, and it was very apparent that she played with both of them extensively. She is also the property manager at my apartment complex so I felt totally at ease that she would have full access to my place. She is also well respected by everyone at the apartment complex and has been the go to person for cat sitting in our area for quite some time.
