I regret to say that my experience with this dentist's office was deeply disappointing. During my second appointment, I encountered various issues that left me feeling disrespected and unsafe. Firstly, the office manager displayed rudeness when questioned about redundant paperwork, and my request to avoid fluoride was repeatedly overlooked. Moreover, my daughter's safety was compromised during her cleaning, as she nearly choked on water due to insufficient assistance. When I raised concerns to the dentist, I was met with dismissiveness and disrespect. The dentist refused to acknowledge my presence and even threatened to discontinue services when I attempted to voice my concerns. This behavior, coupled with the dentist's alarming comment regarding the racial composition of their patients, left me deeply troubled. I will not be returning to this establishment and encourage others, especially those from marginalized communities, to seek support from professionals who prioritize respect and safety for all patients. I have literally been struggling to find a dentist that would fix my daughters tooth for atleast a few months if not longer because when we first noticed her cavity they wanted me to wait a few months to fill it and also put her to sleep etc. it was so complicated that I ended up putting it off till she just the other day had such bad tooth ache that she couldn't even sleep! I am new to Texas and don't have health/dental care yet and so I looked up dentist and found this place near my home so I scheduled an appointment. 1st let me say with my lack of sleep the past few nights since my 4 year old has been experiencing the tooth ache I scheduled the appointment for the wrong day! But when I walked in they accommodated me and allowed her to be seen! I love the process they check you in (not much of a wait either) then they consult with you in a room where you don't feel uncomfortable it is a very welcoming environment they did not make me feel guilty that my daughters tooth was in such a bad state they cleaned her teeth and did her exam for 173$ (very reasonable when you don't have insurance) then Dr. Patel checked her teeth and consulted with me again about what her plan was I was so desperate due to her pain even though I didn't want to put her to sleep I would have(because all the other dentist recommended that in the past) but she didn't even say that her first words were I do not want to put her to sleep I'd like to do an oral sedation with laughing gas and explained what would be taken care of! She was literally so great I was happy all day because finally my daughter was getting help! They scheduled the procedure for the next day and it was again explained to me on what to do what the home care was prior to the procedure and what not to do! I followed the instructions and when we arrived the next day again it was barely a wait and they were so kind and patient with my daughter when she was done they wheeled her out in a wheel chair to the front and let me grab my car and pick her up they are just literally the best pediatric dentist in the area! Again let me remind you I did not have insurance and with everything they did I paid a reasonable price! It does have ti be payments in full when you don't have insurance but that is fine because if you know you don't have insurance then you should know your going to have to come out of pocket some money and be prepared. My daughter not being in pain though is worth every penny! I can not wait to bring my other kids here & have no fear if they need work done as well because they did such a good job with my daughter literally a 10/10! read more

Everything was going great until I found out parents couldn't come in the back. My four year old was about to get a procedure done. I left immediately! What do you not want me to see ? What are you back there doing to my child ? You should give parents the option at least. We know our kids! We know how they would act with us being back there, everyone is not the same. I take my 3 children to Northwest pediatric dentist, but this was the first visit where they were seen by Dr. Kamdar. During the actual examination with my kids, she was fine. Amenable and descent, until she brought my eldest to the back to put a sealant on her back top teeth. My eldest has an extensive medical history that causes her to have a very strong and uncomfortable gag reflex. It used to be so bad that taking basic dental X-rays would send her into gagging fits- it was nothing she could control. Now she can get through X-rays and a dental cleaning with minimal issue. However, to do this sealant, they chose to put a large block in the back of her mouth to keep her jaw open- which was obviously very uncomfortable for a kid with a strong gag reflex. My daughter said she kept feeling like she was going to throw up everywhere so she had to pull the block out of her mouth to stop it and then began crying because Dr. Kamdar began getting upset with her telling her to stop. Then my daughter asked for her mom (me) and Dr. Kamdar's response was to shut the door and ignore a 10 year olds request for her mother. Completely unacceptable. The doctor then put the block back in her mouth and when my daughter began to gag again, she held her hands down so she couldn't remove the block in her mouth. Can you imagine the fear my daughter experienced of gagging and not being able to stop it?!?! My daughters eyes are bloodshot from the force of her uncontrollable gagging. Had I been ALLOWED in the room with her, I would have asked them to stop the first time she had a strong gag. The sealants they were putting on were optional, not necessary. She has no cavities and no areas of concern in her mouth- we were just told they would be an extra protection from cavities. After calming my crying child down in the car, she finally told me all of this. I went back into the clinic to speak to the staff and I spoke with Dr. Kamdar. She had absolutely no empathy for my child and said, "well if a kid doesn't want to let me do it, then I can't do it." ....... this has nothing to do with her allowing you to do it. I could care less about the stupid sealants. I care that you used force on my child. I will be addressing this further with the clinic. read more

My 2 boys have been going to Dr. Green for 2 years now and we love her. The office set up is very kid-friendly, and the staff is all very sweet. My older son had to have some dental work done under general anesthesia while my husband was between jobs and we were on COBRA. The lady we dealt with regarding billing and insurance at Dr. Greens office was very patient and clearly explained all of our options, and the charges we would receive from Dr. Green (which were unbelievably reasonable). We chose to have the procedure done at the Conroe Surgery Center after Dr Green's office gave us the info we needed to contact them for facility estimates. Every estimate we were given was accurate and we did not have to pay any more than anticipated. We were very pleased with Dr. Green's bedside manner, care, attention and rates. We will continue to use and recommend her as our pediatric dentist. read more

This practice gets one star for many reasons. Let me just start off with the cleanliness and COVID-19 precautions that they take. When your child goes to the back there is no dividers between the dental chairs they are right next to each other five in a row in a small room in the back. All of the equipment is not updated and it feels like you are in a dental office from the 1980s. The office just does not have a clean feeling to it and I don't ever see them wipe down anything when I'm in there. Next-to the dentist. Dr. Pushpa Patel is one of the absolute rudest doctors I have ever met. When you have questions she takes it as if you are questioning her dental ability and snaps back at you and is very rude. She also makes you feel stupid when you were just asking for her to repeat the intricate dental procedure that she is explaining. Not only is she short with the parents but she is also short with children. My daughter was uncomfortable with what she was doing in her mouth and started to make a noise as she is a young child. The doctor came back to that with saying extremely rudely " what could possibly be wrong? Why are you making that sound when I am touching your mouth?!" It's almost like the dentist was frantic when my daughter made a noise. Everything offends this doctor. Even a child making a groaning noise when she is doing dental work. And next let me get to the dental procedures. If your child needs A procedure such as a filling or a crown they will not let you back there in the same room with your child while getting the procedure. They make you wait in the waiting room. This only happened once for us. I did not feel comfortable with it and now I know why. Dr. Patel immediately recommends sedation and laughing gas for every single patient even though that is not necessary. My daughter needed a filling and she wanted to put her under so she didn't " have a bad dental experience". I of course pushed back on this and said I don't think that she needs sedation we can start with laughing gas if that's OK? Dr. Patel said that we could start with that. I don't understand why she immediately wants to put all of the patients under sedation when it is not needed. Sedation is only needed when a child resists the procedure that is happening. Starting with sedation in the first place and not giving the parents any other options is ridiculous and a complete waste of insurance money. Not only that about the sedation but when my child is back in the office the doctor talks to her however she wants to and hold her mouth open however she wants to and I'm not there to be her advocate. This is absolutely ridiculous. Our last visit in there the doctor recommended a crown after being extremely rude to me for asking questions about this procedure. My daughter is six years old and a crown would not last for the entire time that she needed it to until she was 11. The crown was the wrong recommendation for the treatment and I had a feeling about that. What should have been done is a stainless steel cap which would last until she was 11. I feel that Dr. Patel recommends things that will not last so that you can come back and she will make more money off of you. If we would've gotten the crown with her we would've been back in a few years to get another one or get a stainless steel cap like we should've had in the first place. I canceled the procedure after Dr. Patel said that it was OK to give her laughing gas after she had just eaten a big lunch and that if My child was going was going to throw up she needed to just tell her. I felt very uncomfortable with the treatment recommended and the fact that she recommended that we do it that day instead of waiting until she hadn't eaten a big lunch before. After canceling I felt that I needed a second opinion. Sure enough the second doctor that I went to told me that sedation should not be recommended right away, sedation should only be used when a patient is resistant to the procedure, and that after all the crown was not the best treatment for my daughter and that it would fail within a few years and I'd be back. Of course we did not go back to Dr. Patel and we changed our PCP to our new dentist. My other two children were still listed at Northwest Pediatric Dental. This is the kicker- Dr. Patel paid seven dollars to send me a certified letter to tell me that I am not welcome at her practice nor are any of my children welcome at her practice anymore and that she will refuse to treat them. She said in the letter she can't "afford to keep us". I can't believe these people are still in practice and I cannot believe that she wasted seven dollars of the company money to send me a certified letter to tell me that I am not welcome anymore for simply getting a second opinion. read more

I've been taking my kids here for the last five years. I never had any issues with them until recently. They also have a new dentist caring for them at the same location. My child needed a filling and they gave me an "estimate" of charges for the services. I've never had to get anything done. But in other situations, when I'm given an estimate it usually means that's what I'll pay. So on the day of the appointment I paid what I was told to pay to get the services done. Everything went well. My child had no complaints and all was fixed. Then a month later I get a bill in the mail saying I had a balance. WTH!?! I was angry because I was under the impression that all was done and over with. I called and they said the billing person would call me back, which never happened. I called again and they said that the insurance had paid only so much and the rest was my responsibility. I paid it.... But I'll never be back. Poor customer service is inexcusable!!! All I can say is wow!! My son loves going to the dentist and I thought that would all change when he had to get fillings. They sedated him because he is only four and I was super nervous about that. Dr. Green eased my worries and spent a little extra time with me and my wife to make sure we were comfortable. When my son was done and the drugs finally wore off he still loves the dentist. We have been taking our son here for almost five years. We really like and trust Dr. Patel-Dubey. She is a very good pediatric dentist and she is kind to our son. The girls at the front desk are always very nice and the hygienists and assistants are very patient and kind to our son. The office is nice and clean and they have video games and television to keep the children entertained. We love Dr.Patel Dubey!!! We brought my 5 year old in for a second opinion as the initial pediatric dentist wanted to do multiple procedures and suggested putting him under general anesthesia. Dr.Dubey looked at the xrays and formulated a less invasive equally effective plan. She also was able to schedule us right away for the procedure. She walked us thru the whole procedure step by step and was so informative. They made sure my son was comfortable and catered to him to ease him into the procedure. My 3 children see Dr. Green at her Robinson Road location. Dr. Green and her staff are fabulous. They all do a great, great job taking excellent care of my 3 kiddos teeth while also making them feel comfortable and relaxed while there. Dr. Green has been cleaning my children's teeth for many years now and my children enjoy their visits every time. When my youngest had an accident involving his front teeth and a tennis racket in PE class she was quick and responsive offering to get him in right away. She was professional and conservative in her approach and assured us all would be fine (which it was). She has also been a great help and sounding board in helping us make the right decisions for our kids regarding the need for orthodontics and orthodontic surgery throughout the years. Just took my children there 2 weeks ago to see Dr. Dubey. My daughter went in to get her braces put on at her orthodontist today, and they couldn't put them on because the dentist had missed a cavity! Everything is delayed because of this. Not only that, but we had already found a new dentist who will be fixing the cavity, because this dentist and her staff discriminated against my son who is on the autism spectrum and refused to provide the very simple services needed to fix his cavities.
