I have time today…read more Just so you know now before you read the whole review, WE LET HER GO and lost our 50% deposit. I will post some screens just so you can see what the conversation was like. I was very straight forward with her and when I had my now husband to fire her, she told him she didn't know I was upset. When we actually fired her, she left a nonchalant voicemail and text with no formal apology. We booked our wedding venue in January 5, 2019 and I was going back and forth if I wanted to hire her full service. We chose her A La Carte event designing and gave her 50% deposit on February 20, 2019. ORGANIZATION & COMMUNICATION: The first thing I noticed was she was disorganized and I did not feel like she valued our business. I observed our meetings that she didn't write clear notes on my vision. I noticed myself always initiating a follow-up for everything. For example, I needed to know a quote for a design idea and I gave her extra time to get a quote but I had to wait for a long long time. All we did was wait for her! So much so that it was 3 months to the wedding and NOTHING was done. She won't VOLUNTARILY communicate what it was that was prohibiting her from following-up with us. She would always use the excuse that she was getting too many messages from other brides and my message got lost. Yes, something personal did happen in her life and I understood that but as a business woman myself, I would have sent a formal email to ALL CLIENTS letting them know what is happening. We didn't feel like she conducted her business communications well, especially after forking a 50% deposit early on. RESOURCEFULNESS & CREATIVITY She definitely was not the most resourceful when it comes to ideas and didn't negotiate prices. All the quotes were out of this world ridiculous. I initially wanted to fill the place with white balloons, that was gonna either cost 12K, 10K or 9K. Then we wanted streamers on the walls and ceilings which will costs 25K. Me and my husband are artists and we needed someone to think outside the box. She is not that type of planner. She was not after my heart when it comes to my vision and decoration ideas. She didn't pay attention to what I've said REPEATEDLY. I told her I didn't want flowers anywhere and no table runners and no girly, frilly things. She tried to fit us in the COMMON BRIDAL BOX time and time again to do what she's done over and over again and it was absolutely frustrating repeating myself. I was VERY CLEAR from the beginning, we didn't want the basic and common wedding ideas and I urged her to think outside the box. I figured if she was proud to be creative, she can handle it..... clearly, no. WHAT WE ENDED UP DOING My husband, friends and family, especially my mom, did ALL of the decorations. It was stressful but I would rather do that than continue working with her. We didn't care about the deposit because she was stressing me out because of her lack of just basic business skills. The wedding was amazing we couldn't have been more pleased. Catherine and her team are professional, experienced, and organized. The proprietress was rude when I called her and said they would be delivered within 20 minutes. I offered to go pick them up- but clearly they were not made. After much aggravation the flowers finally arrived at 5:40. The bouquet was tiny and made with wilted old roses- I had ordered antique pink.. these were all shades of pink and white but were mostly brown. UNEXCUSABLE.

At the outset of planning our wedding, we had a strong vision for the event, but lacked a fundamental understanding of how we'd put it together, the flow throughout the night, and the logistics of the more do-it-yourself venues that we were most interested in. Once we met Heather Levine from Naturally Delicious (ND), and started working with her, it became clear that ND were the perfect partners for our event. Heather had years of experience producing events in our venue and others like it and experience producing a variety of types of events. Heather had on-point suggestions for every detail of our event, whether it be food, run-of-show, liquor, rentals, or anything. About two weeks before the event, we faced an unexpected crisis. We don't know what we would have done without Heather generally, but especially during these two weeks. Our bi-weekly emails with Heather turned into multiple calls and texts a day. Alongside no small amount of coaching (bordering on counseling at times), Heather helped us repeatedly communicate with all of our loved ones about the event, and tirelessly worked across our vendors and venue to make many significant, last minute adjustments. Overall, we couldn't recommend Naturally Delicious and Heather Levine more!

We had a handful of platters of hor d'oeuvres and an open bar with two bartenders as well. I really appreciated the lengths our contact, Melissa, went to to make sure the event was successful. Since we were uncertain about our budget until the very last minute, we had so many changes (adding and subtracting platters, including the open bar, etc.) and requests. Melissa very willingly accommodated and worked with our limited budget to provide the best food and service. We were even making changes until a day before the event! The food was set up and delivered an hour and a half before the start of the event, which was a great relief for the event planners and a burden off our shoulders. The lovely bartenders were experienced and worked quickly, so there was hardly ever a line. Clean up was easy and fast, and Naturally Delicious worked with our space limitations to make the process super seamless. The food itself was all cold since we didn't have access to a kitchen to heat it up, so it wasn't as appetizing as some of our guests had hoped. However, I think this was more a result of my menu selection than anything Naturally Delicious did. The catering was a bit on the pricier side, but it's well worth it for the professionalism. If I'm planning catering for a future event, I will definitely turn to Naturally Delicious again!

We booked our wedding catering with them about 2 years out and they so graciously let us do several tastings, let us play with the menu based on our foodie obsessions and even crafted something personal for the tables from me.
