I called today at noon in hopes of getting an appointment for a blow dry and was surprised to get an appointment at 1:00pm with Marci. I walked in at two minutes 'til and Marci got me right in. We talked for a bit and she asked me what kind of style I was looking for before going to work on my hair. I had a nice shampoo and she styled my hair until it was perfectly sleek and pretty, despite the humid weather. I would definitely go back! Against my better judgement, I made an appointment at Tangi's knowing it would be at least triple what I would have paid at Great Clips/Aveda. However, having just gotten back from my appointment, I can happily say that I had an AMAZING experience and it was well worth the extra money. Shane started with a consultation, asking what I was looking for and his thoughts on what might fit my lifestyle best. After shampooing/conditioning my hair, making the cut, and styling it, my hair was nearly 6 inches shorter, now resting neatly at my shoulders. Even though I walked in unsure of what I wanted, Shane was able to make my hair look incredible in under an hour while making good conversation. Upon leaving, I received a "goody bag" of business cards, a pen, magnet, and even a 20% off coupon for my next visit! No regrets despite being a bit above my student budget, but I will definitely be back again!

My normal person (Diana) was out first having her baby recently and I love her - but I ended with a newly graduated stylist who took 1 hr and 45 min for a basic hair cut (on my bday) and also did all the things I said I didn't like and cut it too short. Never asked for a refund before but still waiting to hear back from my multiple emails. I'll be back when Diana returns but don't know that I would switch stylists again.

I apologized for being 10 minutes late for my appointment and her response was silence..other than answering my questions In curt yes or no answers she would not converse with me. I showed her a picture of what I wanted done ( a hairstyle I had had in the past) and to match my roots that were growing out. She took it upon herself to lighten my roots which only made it look like I needed my roots done. She refused to cut my hair the shorter length I requested. When she reluctantly waxed my eyebrows the right had no arch where the left was overly arched. I told her about my disappointed with all services and the way I had been treated and that my services needed to be corrected. This was her direct quote " how about I just doby charge you and you never come back" I agreed and asked to speak with her supervisor she told me the receptionist was her supervisor. When I asked to speak with the owner she said the owner would call me on. Monday. I spoke to the owner the following morning who stated both that the stylist never said the above quote and then threatened to call the police over the bill. After the owner continued screaming at me that my hair was fine. I reminded her she wasn't at the salon and didn't see the damage. I offered to send her pictures of what her stylist did and she refused. The call ended with her screaming louder at me repeating what her stylist said.." don t pay and don't come back.as she continued screaming insults I ended the call...enough said.
