Although they were nice and friendly, they were not attentive in just a little things were left off. When we raise concerns about the soreness of the food, they said that that's the way it was supposed to be. I'm constantly chasing the flavors of my childhood Italian restaurant back home and I think I've found my closest match. First off, their pasta fagioli, absolute perfection. It's not just minestrone with pasta added in nor is it too tomatoey. It's the perfect level of veggies and pancetta and I ordered a bowl to go to have on hand as my "I'm sick" comfort food. The calamari was my only criticism, they serve it tossed in the marinara (and the spicy marinara isn't really spicy). That meant the crisp breading was soggy, but it was still well cooked and tasty - I'll just ask for sauce on the side from now on. House bread with herbed dipping oil - delightful outer crust and fluffy inside. My father had a caesar salad which was his only criticism - it came with a packet of Ken's brand dressing. For a place making most things from scratch, why they'd do commercial dressing let alone in a packet is beyond me. My father's veal marsala was cooked tender and the sauce wasn't overpoweringly marsala-y as many can be. My chicken francaise had the same level of meat tenderness and sauce balance and both came with perfectly cooked pasta. We had to judge on all levels of our go-to foods so we also ordered a slice of pepperoni which came with a sauce that wasn't too much nor too sweet and excellent cheese pull, thin but not cracker crunchy crust that has actual FLAVOR. We have had a pizza delivered from there and it was good. Then the other day we decided to go in and see how the place was. It was fantastic! I had eggplant and my husband had lasagna. Both come with a small Greek salad - which was a nice size - and an order of garlic bread. Everything was REALLY good. We look forward to going back here again. The only thing that would be nice is if they would have a menu online. We would like to order take out and that would be helpful. Try this place out. If for any reason you don't like it - no worries, we will eat it for you! This place is a keeper! The staff was very helpful in answering all questions we had about the food. I normal only eat 2 pieces of pizza but having this I ate half of a pizza then we went back and I try ed the calzone omg the best. There all organic products they use here you can really taste it. Teresa was our server absolutely the best service I've ever had she was spot on with the service. The shu chef I forgot his name is right there also. Just a great place I'm not big on writing reviews but I had to this time. My husband and myself are lifers from now on. You won't be sorry if if you go here. Really good and fast service. Our waitress was speedy with drinks, and our main entrees were delivered in about 10 minutes. Our salads and bread came out within 2 or 3, so we were impressed with that. The food itself was good, we got stuffed shells and an Italian sub. The water also tasted filtered, instead of the usual sink water you taste from smaller little places like this. Overall, we loved our visit. The only complaint we have is that when we walked in it was quite warm, and there was a large amount of mosquitoes. Of course, since this is a pick up, or dine in restaurant, there were a lot of people coming in and out, so that could be a main reason. However, it cooled up quite a lot later on. read more

Awesone food and a wonderful staff. Some of the best pizza around. Calzones are out of this world and the gyros are da bomb and don't forget the rest of the menu. We have been going here on a weekly basis with the entire family since they have opened at this location and have never ever had bad or cold food. As a matter of fact we have to let our food cool for a minute or two cause it's so damn hot and fresh and good. My wife and I have followed chef Andy to all of his restaurant endeavors for the last 25 years. Stop by and give them a try. read more

The Pizza is unreal here......if eating a lot of pizza is a problem for you, go somewhere else. The dough at this place is delicious, soft and sweet. It was hard to stop eating!!!! We are a family of four and we order a medium Greek salad and large family style pizza and still have leftovers. I've eaten here 4 times and every time my wife and I are super impressed by the taste of the pizza....forreal!!!! Literally as good as I remember from the 80s and 90s when we used to frequent Stavros in Daytona and Port Orange. The owners and staff were very attentive and were absolutely upbeat and positive the whole time. It's really a refreshing change from humdrum attitudes from other local restaurant staff. My father's veal marsala was cooked tender and the sauce wasn't overpoweringly marsala-y as many can be. My chicken francaise had the same level of meat tenderness and sauce balance and both came with perfectly cooked pasta. We had to judge on all levels of our go-to foods so we also ordered a slice of pepperoni which came with a sauce that wasn't too much nor too sweet and excellent cheese pull, thin but not cracker crunchy crust that has actual FLAVOR. The pizza was good, but a bit soggy, the bruschetta bread seemed stale so we ended up using my homemade sourdough, and then it had good flavor. Just overall not the best experience - we might give them another try, but to spend $50+ dollars with tip on a pizza and bruschetta and have it all be a bit disappointing makes it difficult to consider trying again.
