My kids have been going to my gym for a bit now. We had a birthday here a couple of years ago and now they both attend classes weekly. My eldest is 5 and my youngest is 19 months and My Gym has classes where they can play together which is great ! They also do events for Halloween etc. The only complaint I have is the membership and drop in options are truly confusing. I've never gotten a clear answer lol although it all seems to be working. So like I'm happy my kids are happy but I'm low-key not sure what I'm even paying for at this point. And it's not exactly cheap. I will say that every staff member I've ever spoken to or interacted with has been so kind and helpful to me and my family and I love that. read more

So far so good!!! I am a mom of 2 who gets no break. I signed my kids up for the trial they have going on and have been pleasantly surprised. My oldest loves it. My youngest is not so keen to be away from me unfortunately. My oldest was like that at his age. Anyway, Miss Nicole is excellent. I've seen how she is with the kids and am so happy with the activities and things going on. I'll be honest, I was going to give 4/5 stars ONLY because my youngest would probably benefit from getting a bit of extra attention so that he can find some comfort and ease in being there and not being so attached to myself and his big sis. It's not really a complaint and I know that all kids are treated fairly. I've seen it. And the workers wear masks so maybe that's another reason my youngest hasn't found the comfort. He would probably want to see the smiling happy faces of the workers. Only time will tell but I will definitely update my review soon. I really do love the place. It's spacious and there is a max number of kids for each class. I think that's really great and important now that the world has adjusted to this new level of "norm". I also feel like it's hard to take advantage of the trial when my youngest feels this way so I enrolled both kids in camp. It was nice to be given a week extension for the trial since my youngest wasn't in anything the first week. But it's looking like week 2 is no better. Maybe the camp will help better? I don't know anymore. I believe that this place, compared to other places, is definitely more on the affordable side. I'd recommend. read more

Wow!!! I am really impressed with My Gym.... my grandson has been going there every week since he was 6 weeks new... working on motor skills all while having fun doing it...and he loves it.... Now 7 months he's walking and loves singing.... All Classes are aged appropriate and the routines are different all the time. I even attended a Mommy & Me Class (even though I'm really Grammy) which was a great work out.. The staff is amazingly Great, polite & patient with kids as well as with the parents.... This location has horrible leadership. Their classes are led by usually very boring, moving along the movements teachers. Their parent night outs never happen and during one, you can expect pizza and a movie. This is mygym!? Why movie? If you make it to one, it's because the leadership had make 25 calls to confirm attendance. They finally realized they can't have parent night outs every Friday and changed it to once a month. On the day of, an email is sent. The email doesn't registration in advance required. 8 hour later, the event is canceled (no email or notice on site to communicate this). The manager brings her toddler to classes - even to classes in which the age doesn't match and the toddler just screams "mommy" endlessly. The leadership can't get it together. I went to mygym for a few years for my now teenager in Yorktown. The parent night outs were filled with other quiet activities (after pizza) like arts. The teachers were enthusiastic and engaged the kids very well. Super bummed I couldn't live this location. Thank goodness for the male teacher (I don't think I can name teachers on Yelp). He is amazing!!! He genuinely cares about connecting with kids. Im giving it two starts and not one because of him. He's 5 stars! read more

We had our kids birthday party here and I thought the place was really nice. I liked that the fact that the place was clean. My children just turned two and most of the kids were near that age range so to get the attention span of such kids for longer than a couple of minutes is pretty hard. The employees were nice and polite. They tried to do a couple of different activities for the kids which was really nice. You get some free classes when you sign up yourself when it is a party which is nice. I will absolutely be bringing my kids here just for them to run around and have fun. While our son joined some nice birthday parties there, we had a very disappointing experience when enrolling him in classes. There is a lot of turnover in staff, some people tell you one thing, others don't know what has been communicated and tell you something else. We ended up losing 3 classes because of this inconsistent communication - almost 100 bucks spent for nothing. read more

What an awful experience. In an attempt to bring a sense of normalcy and play in a controlled environment during this pandemic, my wife and I signed up our two-year-old daughter to attend weekly classes at My Gym - Dobbs Ferry. Though there were no "free play" opportunities where families could bring their children several times a week in addition to their once a week structured class, the price remained the same - but we like to support local businesses, so we joined anyway. My daughter seemed to enjoy the classes (she just likes to socialize) so we brought her... Today, though, the modest joy crumbled as the staff decided to be nasty and spiteful. We arrived a few moments later than usual, but still before class had started. The employee said, "Hi," but did not let my daughter in and instead walked over, pressed play, started the music, walked over to the circle, and started class...without us. When my daughter attempted to join "circle time" she was stopped and told she couldn't join because her temperature needed to be taken - this could have happened in five seconds, before the instructor pressed play. Instead, my daughter had to wait, separated from the other children and had to watch them play while she sat on the sidelines. My wife and I are both educators and we know this is not the way to treat children - inequitable, unequal, and downright nasty. Instead of being apologetic or understanding (as the customer base is children) the instructor tried to justify her actions by citing "policy" though we have seen children enter without temperatures being taken, children coughing, children with runny noses, etc. The spite continued throughout the class - my daughter patiently waited for the swing but was denied an opportunity as the instructor decided to end swing time before she had a chance. Imagine how children are treated when no parent is present - scary. Horrified at how we - how my daughter - had been treated, we thought it best to call the owner and explain what had happened. The owner listened to our complaint and tried to justify what happened - "She's alone," "She's only one person," all of which I didn't understand, was she telling me she was understaffed? At the expense of what? Our children? Absurd! She ultimately refunded the money we had pre-paid for future sessions and offered a lukewarm apology stating, "I mean, what do you want me to do, fire Jessica?" Of course, that is not what we wanted, we just wanted to bring to light the mistreatment of her customers; but she offered no other resolution. We do not want to see local businesses fail or go under, but no one is entitled to succeed, you must earn success. read more

The teachers are so kind and so much fun!! My daughter loves her time there each week! She has made friends and is always tired at the end of her play time! They are some of the nicest and most welcoming staff I have encountered with these gyms. I highly recommend this gym!!! Great price, service and quality all around! read more
