Her classes are an hour long, and she always starts right on time and ends right on time. The music we ride to is very mixed from old school soft rock, to top 40, to country . I absolutely love that Ripped Ride encourages "theme spins" meaning that around Christmas you can wear your Santa hat and definitely look forward to Christmas tunes, or for Halloween you could wear some type of festive costume piece; whatever the occasion- you can celebrate at Ripped Ride. Nadine even did a Wedding Spin class dedicated to one of her weekly participants who happened to be getting married that day. It was very cute and very thoughtful. My favorite thing about Ripped Ride is that it truly is a judgment free zone. You don't walk in and feel like you're in competition with anyone nor do you feel like you need to look a or act a certain way. The software and app for tracking your progress is great - class rank, calories, and power points so you can compare to yourself or the class. 40 bikes with plenty of room - where you can be seen in the front or hide in the back depending on your style. The stadium seating really helps everyone see the instructor. State of the art sound system is loud and really helps the experience (especially when you compare to other studios). Shoe rental is free and there's good availability of sizes, I've never had an issue. I do wish they had more retail available. I think that's the one area they're really missing out on. They celebrate birthdays, ride milestones, gender reveals like no other! Highly recommend if you're in the area for a class. Your first one is free!

They charged me again the following month and it took an additional 2 weeks for Alan to agree to refund the charge, promising to call me to ensure everything was sorted. He never called (all of this happened over email as they refuse to get on the phone). I was charged again this month, despite trying now for three months to cancel. THIS PLACE IS SHADY AF.

I will say it's a trek coming from Hackensack but heck, I used to spin at a cycling studio in Montclair-lol. I can now only spin maybe once or twice a month but I think I received some email about a special with barre. I do know there is a Pilates place inside the facility so maybe there is some sort of partnering of classes. I must check my email for the notice again. I even told my daughter about Zing and she and one of her college friends went to a class. I am so, so impressed with how this CycleBar is managing around the covid pandemic. I mostly split…read moremy time between NC and NJ, and frequent two CycleBars in Raleigh. One CycleBar remains closed, while the other offers outdoor classes and maskless indoor classes. But the outdoor classes are still a bit too close for comfort, and the indoor classes make me uncomfortable without masks. And the music during the outdoor classes is a bit quiet, because the studio is smack down in the middle of a retail complex and we want to be nice to our neighbors :) BUT! While in NJ, I decided to check out this CycleBar in Montvale. By stark contrast to my local studios in NC, the outdoor classes were soooo well thought-out, well spaced-out, AND you don't need to go inside for anything. You will check in, grab your shoes if you are borrowing, and get situated on your bike w/o ever having to go inside. You can leave your belongings right beside your bike -- there will be ample space. They do not offer towel service right now and you cannot use their lockers -- so just an FYI so you can plan ahead. Further, you will probably need your own headphones because this CycleBar lets you listen to your instructor via some audio app. This means you can blast the music all you want -- without ever bothering the other retail neighbors in the area. I really loved this because the loud music, for me, is really key to getting into the CycleBar vibe. It's very awkward to cycle hard if the music is playing at quiet levels. If I had one recommendation for this CycleBar, it's to notify attendees well in advance whether they'll need headphones. I was texted about the headphones only as I was out the door, but had they texted me literally a minute later, I would have missed the memo. I tried one of the indoor classes here too, albeit reluctantly, because I needed to get a good sweat in after a long work day. I was really comfortable with the set up, especially with the required masks. And I loved that the instructors didn't pretend that this was easy. One of the instructors acknowledged that this is all new, it's hard, and if we need breaks then take breaks! The mask wearing does make class more challenging, but for me it was worth it. I went slower than usual, focused on my breathing, and was able to feel comfortable throughout class because I knew others around me were wearing their masks too. I really appreciated how this CycleBar is managing through the pandemic. I wish my local CycleBars were operating at this level of care! I'd say if you're really concerned, you should totally take their outdoor classes. It's 100% the safest option. BUT if you can't make an outdoor class, I think you can try the indoor ones. Everyone's comfort level varies of course and you should do what makes you most comfortable.

I really liked my instructor, but my experience was bad since my bike was broken the whole class. I hope they give more love to class passers in the future at this location bc other cyber locations, such as closter, doesn't do the $5 charge. I will not return!
