I was initially frustrated with some communication issues when I first called and was actually about to look elsewhere. Without me even asking for special attention, Amy reached out to me personally. From that moment on, everything fell into place seamlessly. Amy clearly genuinely cares about her customers and the families they serve. They even offer in-home services for those who prefer that option. We ended up going to their salon on Pine Street in Riverside, where we met Bree. She was absolutely outstanding! Bree was so warm and welcoming, especially with my kids. She made the whole experience feel like no big deal at all. We were in and out in a very timely manner, and she answered every single question we had with patience and kindness. If we ever need lice services again (which hopefully we won't!), My Hair Helpers will be our only choice. Amy and Bree have completely earned my trust and loyalty. The process itself was very straightforward. My kids didn't complain about any of it bc they were made to feel comfortable and at ease. While they were being treated I was given instructions on what to clean, how to maintain and instructions for our follow up. The overall experience was professional but also welcoming. My girls were happy to have their hair cleaned of the "bugs" as they kept calling them. Was it expensice? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes! Long story short, I had to go with my two kids to get tested and it was late on Friday. Michelle was able to squeeze us in. Although it took hours to complete the check and treatment for all three of us, she stayed much later than she should have to help us, even though she had already had a long day at work. Very friendly, very professional, very thorough, and very impressed with their work. Hopefully my last lice treatment, but you never know and if we get it again, we will be coming right back to my Hair helpers. read more

I love this place! I work in a hospital and found one lice bug in my hair after caring for a patient that had lice bad. I was so worried and as soon as I got off work at 7 30 am I called this place and got in by 1pm. Lacy took care of me and eased my fears. She went throughly through my hair and only found one egg and provided me a treatment. I could have not done this by myself and would have most likely missed that one egg. I'm so grateful for this place and she gave me some great tips to prevent this from happening again. I know where to come now if me or my kids get lice again. I initially inquired last night about my oldest having lice. She got us in first thing this morning right when they opened I brought all three of my daughters, including myself when I saw that the appointment was from 11 AM to 1 PM. I didn't think there was anyway she could get through all of our hair and that time. I have long straight hairand my three daughters have textured and curly hair. We were on our way home at 12:50. She checked us all treated us all accordingly and I also purchased a prevention kit! Our stylist was. Lacey and she was absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough great things about this place! She was so patient and caring, she was very gentle with my girls and very comforting to me. As you can imagine, I had the heebie-jeebies, I literally said first thing when I met her "I want to burn my house down". she started laughing and said don't do that. We can definitely get this taken care of. I walked out of there feeling 1000 times better and only a couple hours! Highly recommend even if you think your kids might have it. Maybe they give excellent service. I wouldn't know! I am just a third party who cared enough for a foster child whom I have never met or seen to pay for services her caregiver said she couldn't afford. The social worker asked for $249, which is the amount I was authorized to pay. After paying a non-refundable deposit of $30, I was contacted to make final payment. The person who contacted me was rude and argumentative because she wanted me to pay an additional $30 above the $249 plus a tip. When I told her I could only pay the balance of $219 she hung up on me and would not answer my two attempts to call back. Without understanding the circumstances, she was incredibly RUDE!! **Note** This one star is not towards the business itself, but to the individual, whose name I was given, but I will not disclose. We had the MOST AMAZING EXPERIENCE with MY HAIR HELPERS! They came RIGHT AWAY when I realized that my whole family might have caught lice.
