Such a cute spot!!! It was interesting to see a shared work space in their upstairs seating area, which is the first time I've seen this. On to the food, I had the egg salad toast with the addition of the avocado & it was simply delicious! I paired it with the smoothie and both were perfect especially on the hot day! I loved that they supported organizations and brands that help people on a global level! it's so great knowing where my purchase will be going to!

Really love the outside vibe here--simple and not over the top. The inside has a cute little boutique that donates a portion from every purchase, which I thought was such a nice touch. The coffee menu is delish! I got the churro latte, and it was amazing. Also couldn't resist grabbing an apple cider donut because, fall duh. Definitely a cozy spot worth stopping by!

My half of the sky rocks! Women, locally owned PLUS they also give back to women survivors of abuse, human trafficking and drug addition?! LOVE IT! This is the perfect place to grab coffee then stroll the streets of downtown Wheaton. The spot itself is an old house turned into a cafe. Indoor seating is limited (20ish) to the public and they also have paid business/conference rooms. I tried the churro latte and enjoyed it. It had the perfect amount of cinnamon and honey, not overly sweet yet sweet enough. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich and will pass on food next time. I appreciate they have food options though. The middle of my sandwich was still pretty frozen but everything else was warmed up just fine.

Cute cafe with free WiFi always great for business meetings or studying ... lots of merchandise like jewelry etc on sale for folk who may need last minute gifts . Has outdoor and indoor seating ... not very big but has cubicles for rent to conduct meetings The chai and cappuccino were ok

My Half of the Sky is a local Wheaton coffee shop with a purpose! Part of their profits goes towards supporting survivors of human trafficking, homelessness, addictions or extreme poverty. They thrive to serve the community by offerings coffee, baked goods, small business goods, and an environment to work and connect. Their business continues to offer more to the community to support their missions. I visited on a Saturday morning right before it got busy. They have both iPad kiosk's and their standard ordering counter to service visitors. Note that ordering online ahead of time offers 10% off orders. I got the 12oz hot lavender vanilla latte and my fiancé got the 16oz huckleberry chai tea latte. I enjoyed my coffee latte's flavor but the chai tea ended up being a bit sweet for my liking. Also, the huckleberry chai does not come in a 12oz option for some reason. The coffee shop itself is rather small to meet demands. It tends to feel claustrophobic when they have a big crowd. Next time, I would certain order ahead to pick up easy!

My Half of The Sky is a cute little coffee shop located downtown Wheaton. Every time I visit this place seems to be crowded, but I don't mind because the vibe is pretty cool. I had higher expectations from their lemonades, I thought they were freshly made using real fruit but instead I received what seems to be a lemonade mix out of the packet. A bit disappointing. I haven't tried their food yet, maybe next time I visit I will try it. Just an FYI, the shop is extremely difficult to maneuver if you are bringing a stroller. It is close to impossible to carry the stroller onto the second floor. However, I do really enjoy the vibe of this place so I will be back many times, especially during hot summer days!

New fall & winter merch! Not a newbie, local resident I come quite often. The fall drink list is lovely, and I bought a tub of the chocolate chip cookie dough it is divine.

Love this place! Perfect place to get some work done or chat with friends. They have a wide array of drinks and food to choose from. There was a long line but the staff got through it very quickly and I didn't have to wait long for my order! The biscotti latte was delicious; the empanada wasn't the best but their baked goods looked delicious! Definitely will be coming back to try other things on the menu.

My half of the sky? More like my half of the ice. We ordered three lattes, the medium size and they were 3/4 of the way filled with ice.

I was a little under impressed with the coffee. Overall, it was average. I don't know why it got such a high rating.

I have since probably purchased over 20 Jellycats from here, it's my favorite way to do so because I love supporting a local business and this shop is genuinely just the best. Outside of Jellycats, I've gotten Hello Kitty Blue Sky Ceramics, an Allen designs clock, Christmas ornaments, a lazy Susan, and baby gifts. Although I don't live in the area, anytime I'm out towards Oak Brook I ALWAYS make sure to stop by Fairytales to see what's new. Unfortunately due to the immense popularity of Jellycats, their stock has declined significantly which is a bit of a bummer, but it seems to be out of their control from my understanding. Everyone I've interacted with here has been incredibly sweet, I've done waitlist orders (I was able to get the large snow dragon jellycat this was as well as some of the rare Christmas ornaments!), and I've done a few online pickup orders as well. Each time my items are packaged beautifully and I feel so special walking out with the super high quality, beautifully branded Fairytales bag. Downtown Lombard truly has a gem, if it was closer to me I'd frequent a lot more, but it just makes my trips even more special when I do get to stop by.
