Today's visit to HearUSA involved both a spear of sadness and a pleasant jolt of serendipity. Put…read moreaway your thesaurus and I'll elaborate. Though I was crushed when I learned that (prior dispenser/audiologist) Ashley Pritchard had apparently moved on in pursuit of greener grass, my anxiety was swiftly dissipated through the calm and friendly professionalism of Robert, the new dispenser/audiologist at HearUSA's Glendora branch. Disclosure: I've worn hearing aids since Gerald Ford was president and depend on them, especially my L aid, to help me hear/communicate. So when I inadvertently dropped my L aid this morning then noticed it had ceased to amplify ANY NOISE whatsoever, I became more alarmed than the Mayor of Hiroshima in August 1945! To their credit, the staff at HearUSA did not over promise me anything. They merely invited me to come in for an unscheduled walk in appointment and they'd evaluate the matter from there. Though I arrived with my Signia-issured warranty cards intact and had resigned myself to having to replace the L aid, Robert greeted me with his stately demeanor and took my imperiled aid to the back. He returned, five minutes later and told me he had removed a microscopic piece of dust or filament that had impeded the device's microphone, thus restoring my aid to its pristine, pre-fall condition!! If several back and hip surgeries hadn't stopped me, I would've jumped right through their roof in exultant jubiliation at this wonderful gem of good news! Major kudos to ROBERT and we wish him nothing but the best of luck in his new role as the dispenser/audiologist here. Tip: Longtime Receptionist / Support Staff JOANNA is out on maternity leave but: A.) She will be returning back to her job within the next month or so; and, B.} The young lady filling in for Joanna has been exceedingly professional and friendly in all my dealings with her.

The appointment day arrived & I was ecstatic to finally be able to hear well. Unfortunately, the receptionist had an emergency & left a message that she could only get me in before 1:30, but I teach until 3:00, so I didn't hear the message until 3:00! She left messages that "due to a personal matter I will be shutting the office down early to 2 o'clock for the time being until they tell me otherwise. So for now until possibly the middle of November which is another two or three weeks I'm gonna be shutting down the office early. As you are aware we don't have a full-time provider here yet. They did hire one already however he is going through licensing right now so he won't be starting just yet. So the good things that our staffing shortages might be easing off very soon. j. Natalie right now is here only two days a week and she's working between two different locations so she she's here only Mondays and Thursdays all day. However, she's fully booked out till the middle of November because she's the one who sees all the new patients, testing people, any adjustments, anything of the cleaning or repair." Disappointing!

Only after unsuccessfully trying to make adjustments to my old hearing aids I purchased my fifth pair of hearing aids a few weeks ago at Beltone in Covina. I cannot say enough about Kelly Williams the Audiologist . She was very helpful in assessing my needs and scheduling follow up visits to make adjustments to my hearing aids. My new hearing aids are absolutely the best I have ever purchased. Once again I am completely satisfied and happy that I returned to this location for my hearing needs. Outstanding service and outstanding people at this location including Ashley and her positive personality at the front. Highly recommended!!!!! Bill H. West Covina.

They didn't take my insurance so they felt bad about it. I still appreciated their service and for still doing the hearing test for me. I was born with hearing loss in my left ear. It's nice when people treat you like a person not like you're stupid.
