We got in 15 mins early and didnt even waited in the lobby and took us in right away. The clinic was very welcoming to my son. Had toys and chalk board for him to play. The hallways and rooms were all decorated with fun colorful designs. My son sat on top of my husband while i hold his hand (since he cant lie down with me im heavily pregnant). There were tvs hanging up in the ceiling so my son kept distracted. He was very calm the entire time. The staff were so calm and friendly and kept talking to him. Everything went smooth 15 mins and we're out. They gave him free goodies , let him choose a toy (he chose a yellow car toy), and a free balloon! The therapy dog was also super friendly too! When we got home, my son can't stop brushing his teeth and showing me how to properly brush his teeth with his new brush he got from them haha! He can't wait to go back to see his dentist again

We've also had wonderful dental assistants over the years. Unfortunately, our last appointment was with a different dentist and dental hygienist; overall it just felt completely different. The atmosphere in the back wasn't nearly as warm or welcoming as it used to be. Although I smiled-they just turned their heads. Our assigned dental assistant came across as snooty and spent much of the appointment talking to my child about their teeth as though she were the dentist. The 'real' assigned dentist gave a similarly stuffy impression. While examining my child's teeth, this dentist seemed more interested in looking me up and down than simply saying hello or asking if I had any questions. It left me feeling unwelcome. Since there is no post visit survey, I felt compelled to leave this review with hopes that it will help improve our customer experience. Most of us work hard to provide dental insurance for our kids, pay the premiums and extra costs, and trust you with their care. As for many of the newer dentists-while everyone has to start somewhere, bedside manner is just as important as clinical skill. A little warmth and connection go a long way.

25 years of fear of the dentists taken away in 5 visits. 3 different Dentist saw me. First one…read moregave me assurance and no pressure to do more than necessary. 1st: Examined X-rays. Calmly told what was needed. Cleared up any uncertainties on current state of my teeth. Was able to take the time to explain my last dental visit (25) years ago and how my teeth health declined over the years - to the current condition it was in. I was not badgered, judged, ridiculed, or dismissed for my bad dental habits. I admit I eat sweets and don't rinse or brush in between meals, just in the morning and before sleep time. Explained what each visit would entail. Gave options on how to proceed. Ended with "No pressure. We will try our best to make it as easy as possible and hopefully you'll consider us". 2nd: It was communicated to the next doctor that I have a deathly fear of needles. I don't care what the rest of the world thinks. When seeing or even thinking of a needle, I imagine an unsteady hand stabbing it in the wrong place only to pull it out with blood gushing all over the place. Fortunately, this was understood by the doctor and I was able to get my deep cleaning without needles. The process was steady and not rushed. I was asked every step of the way if I wanted to proceed and how I was feeling. In the end I was sat down for a summary. I had time to ask as many questions as I needed. It was asked of me to check on my gum health for swelling or bleeding. They will follow up on next visit. 3rd: Gum health improved noticibly. Finished up last session with some light cleaning, no deep cleaning this time. Encourage me to keep using WaterPik floss machine and rinse my mouth with water in-between meals. Mentally helped me prepare for the next visit which would involve the infamous "needle"!! Oh boy. I dreaded this for the last 25 years. However, it had to be done since I needed 7 fillings, 1 new cap, 1 old cap replaced and possibly a root canal. I was also suffering nerve pain in my upper left side. Because a tooth was left thin and exposing too much gum. 4th: Right side fillings and preparation for a new cap. The Dentist this time asked politely if I would put my trust in them. I was asked to close my eyes and count slowly backward from 100. First they put on the numbing cream, no problem. My mouth was gently massaged as a small stream of cool water/air hit the spot of the injection. I believe this was to distract from the actual injection. Either way, I was extremely aware of all this as it was happening. By the time 95 was up I was asked "how did it go?". Honestly, it was still very scary for me. As for the pain, there was no pain! Unbelievable. 5th: Finished up filling on left side. I had a huge gap on the tooth that was giving me nerve pains. It was methodically filled in and cured layer by layer. That makes me feel like care was put into it. All other filling were also done on that side. Not sure how many fillings I had on which side. At this point I was just thrilled I got great treatment. Since I mentally prepared myself and already had a needle from the last treatment, it was such a relief to know I can now safely visit dentist again. I told the doctor, "It just feels like somebody poking you.". I thought there would be a really sharp pinch. The reality was it felt like a friend poking you with their fingernail. * If done properly, the needle should not hurt or even scare you. I'm sure I sounded like a broken record to them when I expressed my concerns. I can tell they communicated well with the previous doctors and already knew what kind of patient they were dealing with. I believe the entire staff is trained well and acts with professionalism. They treat their patients with respect and care for them. There are doctors who have worked there for over 20 years and still have pride in what they do. This place is not sloppy. It is the opposite. Some essential criteria all dental practices should have answers to: 1. Describe pain level during procedures. 2. Describe pain level after procedure and how to deal with it. 3. Explain how long it may take to recover from pain. 4. Recommend course of action to prevent repeat procedures. Eg. redo deep cleaning 5. Recommend absolute necessary procedures to maintain long health teeth vs optional procedures. Eg. Are fillings good enough or do you need " crown or cap" 6. With good dental hygiene vs bad hygiene, how long will your work last before I have to go back in to redo it. All these concerns and questions were met optimally. After checking with some Internet research, I praise this practice for giving no nonsense accurate answers. I hope you can sense from the tone and possible grammar inconsistency that it was not written with AI or using Grammarly. If you don't believe this to be authentic, feel free to message me and I will gladly share more.

Afternoon appointments are limited here. Second, and most disturbing is that they don't allow parents to stay with their children while dental work is being conducted. I have a 7 y/o whose first dental work experience happened here, I did not leave the room but they only Allowed me to stay after I refused to leave. I'm sorry but absolutely not, not in this day and age nor is this acceptable for his first dental experience that required cavity care, there is no way I'm leaving my minor child's side. Last, they are always trying to bump you to accommodate themselves. Each appointment, aside from initial consult, my kiddos has had here they have moved to suit their needs. They are closed for lunch from 12-130 so if you're trying to get anything done on what is also EVERYONE else's lunch break... good luck. Would not recommend. Will not be returning

There are murals on the walls. Hand painted and glorious depictions of various animals, wildlife and plants. It definitely lightens the atmosphere. Every where you turn there is careful thought and planning. (Screens on the ceiling, open environment, patient staff). They have individualized methods of relating with each child and making it easier for them. They thoroughly and carefully explained the issues and plan of treatment. I did not feel pressured to do anything. They did not try and scare us into unnecessary work. They offer sedation in the office. Once a month. The anesthesiologist was extraordinary and very thorough. Personally followed up to check up on him twice. Gave me her personal number in the event of anything or any questions. She said the only thing that my son would feel is the shot. He was all screaming and extra for less than minute. He was very nauseous and dizzy from the anesthesia (every kid is different) When he ate some scrambled eggs it subsided quickly. They gave him a gift certificate for Cane's and my son just thought it was the greatest. He wanted to stop by and thank them in person. When we were walking up to thank them Dakota said he loved the dentist and that his teeth weren't hurting anymore. I am a first time mom. This is the 2th dentist my child has been to. The last one said the work that was needed but did not offer sedation. They suggested restraining him and that it would only be 30 mins. I said absolutely not. Never mind that my son is on the spectrum. That would be traumatic to any child. I had a bad experience at a dentist as a child and it heightened my anxiety and distrust of dentists. When I told them absolutely not. They referred me to Loma Linda with an almost year long waiting list. Needless to say. We couldn't be more pleased. I was so inspired by my son's experience that I found a new dentist for myself. I'm grateful that we came here. Everything is conveniently offered in one place and my son is excited to take care of his teeth.

The previous dental office we were attending with my children did not offer anything to make my kids more comfortable. This office has very cute character designs on the walls that are up-to-date and also has televisions on the ceiling to distract them from whatever is going on. My girls had a really good time there. Also, the staff was very welcoming to the fact that I have two young children who are a bit of a handful. That was refreshing. My husband and I were also seen there and were offered some services that we politely declined. But it was nice to be shown reasoning for the services being offered and shown evidence-based research as to why they felt we needed them done. Again, we ended up declining for now, but it's nice to know that they respected our decisions and were not rude or condescending about it. We were both happy with the newer technology that this office has to offer. I didn't feel like I was going to a dental office with a bunch of out of touch providers from the Stone Age. The front office staff were all very nice and welcoming. They made us feel like family. I would absolutely recommend this dentist to anyone who needs dental care in the Riverside/Moreno Valley area. Actually, even if we lived a little farther, we would still drive to this location. We will definitely be going back. We've actually never continually returned to a dentist's office because we never found one that we actually liked. I came here last year because of their amazing reviews but I wouldn't trust this office too much…read more They were charging me close to 2k for dental work I didn't even need! Biggest red flag was when the doctor said he couldn't see on the x-ray if I had a cavity underneath my crown so he wanted to take off my perfectly good crown and disinfect the tooth. He said after 5 years a crown should be getting redone which isn't true at all. They were charging me 1,322 just for this procedure. Next, they were trying to convince me to get my bottom wisdom teeth removed. They said because it was creating a space which was collecting too much bacteria. They never asked if my wisdom teeth were bothering me, which they don't, and they were not even impacted. Very convenient for them that they were referring me to their sister office (smile builder) for the evaluation and extraction. Another high price procedure in addition to the 2k. Finally, they told me I had two small cavities and already scheduled me to get the fillings. That was 135. I told a family member who works in a dental office about all these procedures and she told me that was not normal and to get a second opinion. I went to a different dental office and the only procedure they agreed I needed was a deep clean. The crown was not even infected, it was just gum swelling and tartar buildup on a different tooth. The cavities and all my other dental issues would improve just with a deep clean and regular maintenance.
