I only tried the regular (versus the mixtos) Encebollado from here, but unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy it nor did I think that the price was justified, especially in the area as Corona is known for cheap great eats. The broth itself was good but it definitely needed more lime. I get that the Encebollado is traditionally done with tuna but the meaty texture of it was off-putting in soup. On top of this, I didn't get any banana chips with the soup which I think would've made a difference. The reason why I'm giving 3 stars versus 2 stars is that the staff seemed really nice & I loved the decor of the place. I might be back to try the drinks but not sure. read more

Great service and tasty fresh Ecuadorian food at a great price. I really also enjoyed their fun cocktails and ordered a few different ones while there. I will definitely be returning with family as they have large tables to accommodate them and I just know they'll enjoy the culture and ambiance that Leticia's provides. The food that represents Ecuador is not like that. I tried a hornado cuencano, unfortunately the hornado was tasteless when reheated in a microwave. The llapingacho was cold when reheated the same. I think their mote ( white corn ) is old with their toasted and salad the onion that is not pickled. Skipped appetizers this time I had the Pechugas en salsa de limón , this was very good nice tasting chicken , good w the rice, avocado & maduros. I came here for restaurant week and liked it! I got 4 courses for $50 which is a good deal. I love the decor, reminds me of the motherland. The waitress was attentive and changed our utensils after each course. My favorite was the Llapingachos and ceviche. The lomo saltado was not the traditional Peruvian dish, more reminiscent of beef stew. I think the onions could have been cut more finely. Sad that the quimbolitos ran out early in the day, I will return for them! Honestly I liked everything. Keep in mind that the food is Ecuadorian with a Mexican twist. read more

The service here is very nice, the girls are super nice and we were sat right away. The food took a little bit but it was quite good, I tried a typical Ecuadorian plate that I don't remember the name but it's basically mashed potatoes with chorizo and some type of yellow sauce- it was really good. Their bandera is similar to a Colombian bandeja paisa and the chicken was a breaded chicken cutlet. This was a new experience for us as we never had Ecuadorian food before but we were quite impressed. Its family Birthday dinner day and we decided to make reservations at Leticia's. I was very happy that we chose Leticia's for my stepfather and my mom's birthday dinner, but they made my mom cry. Give me a minute and I'll tell you about that. First let me tell you about the service; the ladies serving were exceptional, they were friendly and very attentive to our advising of food allergies. They were quick but not in a "hurry up and get out" kind of way. And most importantly, they conversed with us and made us feel welcomed. The drinks: we ordered micheladas, margaritas, old fashions and they were all good drinks. But one drink stood out, the aniñado...this mix of passion fruit, vodka, simple syrup and agave was excellent. You need to try this drink. The appetizers: Tostones n guacamole, so good. Tostones y chorizo, awesome. Seems like we love tostones right, well we do and Leticias, well now they definitely know how to fry some great tostones here. My only "not so good" appetizer dish was the ceviche de chicharron, the pork pcs were too small (like really really small) and not crispy. The dinner: sopa marinera, arroz marinero, tres chanchitos, trucha frita (this was eaten to bare bone) and a shrimp ceviche, All excellent dishes with great flavors and really good visual appeal served in its unique bowls, plates n platters. Nothing was left on plates and what was in abundance was packed to go. While waiting for all of these delicious dishes (but we didn't wait long) we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Cando, owner of Leticia's. A charming and amiable individual who also conversed with us for a bit and welcomed us to his restaurant. The ambiance: it's a mix of your local Ecuadorian dinner place with a touch of cheer. Over all we had an excellent dinner experience here at Leticia's and would recommend and return. Oh I forgot to tell you how these people made my mom cry. Like I had said we came to celebrate hers and my stepfather's birthdays. Well, the servers and Mr. Cando brought out a dish of delicious freshly made churros with a large sparkle candle and sang Happy Birthday to her and my stepfather. She cried, she was touched. The soup was flavorless, the bolon had no flavor and was dey and hard, el lomo saltado was not Ecuadorian style, the fish lacked seasoning, the carne asada again no aliño was added(seasoning). Between food and drinks we paid almos $200 I was very disappointed because I was looking forward in finding great authentic food. Customer service was amazing, very kind and patient, i ordered the burrito which was amazing it came with chicken shrimp and steak and plantain chips soooo good! I also ordered chicken with rice the chicken was really good with the sauce. My friend had shrimp and steak she didn't really like the food the owners was very understanding and let her change the food and of course due to the pandemic she was allowed to keep the food with the additional meal she ordered, will be coming back very soon read more
