Medical imaging express is, by far, the best facility, for MRI testing, to which I've ever been. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The front desk person was so friendly, considerate and generally welcoming... We felt right at home immediately. The technician performing the upright MRI scans was very patient, nurturing and helped me to relax throughout the testing. As for state of the art medical testing, their upright MRI machine is the best available. In fact, there are only about 15 of them in the entire United States. Personally, I was getting upright MRI scans to look for tethered spinal cord. This is the gold standard test to look for that medical condition. THE DEAL: If you want the best results, you have to get the best test at the best facility. I flew all the way from Boston, MA to Greenville, SC to get the best upright MRI scans!

I understand the process and patience it takes for imaging, so my rating is solely based on my interaction at the front desk. I was in urgent need of an ultrasound last minute and many of the local places had no availability…read more I instead was referred to this location (now called Wellstar MCG Health Imaging at 3722 Wheeler Rd.) and when I got there the ultrasound technician was up front and let me know that they were not able to send over the kind of results that my doctor required. I decided to go ahead and do the testing there anyway as that was better than nothing, and I was pleasantly surprised. Tamara, Hilary, Allie, Leslie, and Akira all worked together in a quick and upbeat fashion to help me get the results I needed and sent them over to my doctor in real time. Because of this, I was able to go forward with the time-sensitive medical procedure that I so needed. These women are genuine, caring, friendly, and extremely good at their jobs. I love this place, and I will definitely go here again if I need another ultrasound!

They stated my card was declined. Called credit card while on the phone. They stated no charge was submitted by them. I make a $500 (5/22) pmt while on the phone. This is far more than the 12 month pmt plan payment set up. Also fyi the of $500 pmt was with same card the pmt plan was set up with. How funny went through. I stated I wanted to continue with a pmt plan. 7/18 I receive another bill asking for full amt. I call my charge has not been charged. They stated my card was declined. I stated my credit card company said it was not charged. (FYI this card has no balance so there is no reason for it to be declined). I told the women i set up a pmt plan and please charge the card on file. She states there is no card on file anymore. I would have to set up the pmt plan again. I did ! Call on 7/21 pmt will only allow full pmt. I call they stated they would look into it. On 7/23 log on to their pmt portal because my card was not charged. Now the entire account is $0 balance and there is not even an account that shows pmt history or anything . My card was not charged either. i call the billing office they stated maybe it was sent to collections . What!!! Stay away from this company. They want full or no payment up front. They do not do pmt plans. Anyone who needs an MRI or any imaging go elsewhere. Reporting to BBB. Also look at reviews for other offices they are reporting the same fraudulent billing practices. Ive got breast cancer with two young kids. This company should not be allowed to treat their patients like this.

Went here for a CT chest scan on Friday, April 17th. I checked in with "Tita" who I'd previously…read morespoken to on the phone, and she is delightful-- cheerful, warm & very professional. Can't say much about the tech or "nurse" who conducted my scan. I had to ask nurse 3 times to move the pillow so it supported my head, not my upper back (which had me gagging). She told me at a certain point she would give me a shot of contrast, and when she did it really HURT -- she is no Phlebotomist! I developed a black & blue mark at the site, and it's still sore four days later! Tech asked if was allergic to iodine, and I didn't really know but told her I was allergic to shrimp (lots of iodine). Tech said they had a "way around that, whatever that meant. Also, I had the impression the tech would be communicating with me throughout the procedure. Instead, there suddenly was this pre-recorded LOUD male voice barking "breath in, hold breath, breath out, breath. . . .";, i.e. no human contact. Thankfully the scan took only 5 minutes -- a LONG 5 minutes! When it ended the tech wheeled me out to the waiting room where my husband was. I was given no piece of paper with what to expect after receiving the scan, especially that contrast dye! I had to do all the post procedure research myself on-line, and that's where I found out why I was so horribly exhausted, stomach aching & dizzy. Making matters worse, I called yesterday to ask who would be reviewing my results there. This receptionist (named Adrienne) bluntly answered "I don't know". I asked her if she could find out, and her answer was "All I can do is print out your results, and you can come pick them up, bring your ID. I just wanted off the call and to see what she printed. Husband stopped there to run in to get them a couple hours later. He forgot her name, but one receptionist was not there (I'm guessing Adrienne). He said to Tita there should be a printout of my CT results for me (he brought my I.D.). Tita looked everywhere for them, there was no printout to be found, so Tita printed them. If it weren't for Tita I don't think I'd have a positive thing to say about Carolinas Imaging Services, Ballantyne!

Anywayyyyy, so they are practicing social distancing in the waiting room. Some chairs are turned around and your temperature is taken at the door. Masks are required. I filled out some paperwork on a tablet (I know, Fancy, huh) and then I was called back to the back. The lady who helped me was very helpful and super sweet to me. She talked me through the process, which helped me relax a bit. It actually wasn't as bad as I've heard. I will keep returning to this location for my mammograms in the future.
