Nevertheless, I took the truck over to Generations and had them take a look. The gave me a fair quote and scheduled the work. When I got the truck back it looked like brand new again! They fixed the cosmetic hurt I put on it and then washed the truck and vacuumed the inside! Also, they quoted me 3 days and got it done in 2. They charged me $500.00 to put the parts on, cash again. So I paid them $1,200.00. When I had 300 miles on the car I checked the oil. They didn't change it but put a new sticker on the windshield. They kept my 5 gallons of oil and a new GM filter. I wonder if they used my quality AC Delco brake parts on their vehicle and put on some junk? I called and asked for a receipt and Chris went off on me saying he doesn't give receipts for cash. What a dishonest jerk. I finally got a receipt for the fuel line and caliper. I told them I wanted the replacement tire put on the rim and, because they were so busy, don't mess with the spare, I can put the new tire on. 1 hour and $135 later, I'm advised that anti-seize lubricant was used on the stems and 1 broke, 2 won't tighten. why did they even mess with the spare?!? Then they came to tell me that 2 studs broke now and 1 won't tighte. I said to get the car out in the parking lot and my mechanic will take care of it because I'm not paying them for stems that should have never been messed with and shouldn't have broken off unless THEY DID SOMETHING to it! I walked home and will have to pay to buy new stems and a ride service company to take me over there so I can do it myself if my mechanic is busy. To anyone not aware: I never thought about only taking in the rim inside to replace. They shouldn't have even taken the car in the garage! Also, "mounting" isn't for putting the tire on the rim. It means putting it on the car. These things are good to know so you don't get scammed. At least I know now! Don't go here!
