Then I called Wood Auto Repair in Whiteland and was quoted $610. I made an appointment and dropped it off this morning. They called me a few hours later to confirm the starter was going bad and that it would be $587 all in. This is also one of the cleanest auto repair shops that I have been to.

They charged me $500.00 to put the parts on, cash again. So I paid them $1,200.00. When I had 300 miles on the car I checked the oil. They didn't change it but put a new sticker on the windshield. They kept my 5 gallons of oil and a new GM filter. I wonder if they used my quality AC Delco brake parts on their vehicle and put on some junk? I called and asked for a receipt and Chris went off on me saying he doesn't give receipts for cash. What a dishonest jerk. I finally got a receipt for the fuel line and caliper. He's a mobile mechanic!) to diagnose what the issue was and in less than 24 hrs had replaced my starter. I am a single momma on a very tight budget. I have been taking my cars to him for around 8 years whenever I needed an oil change or any car repair. He is very good at what he does. He has never steered me wrong. In the past if I couldn't get into Bob's and I had to take my car someplace else the other places would tell me that I needed this and that done to my car. Not feeling sure about what they'd tell me, I would wait till I could get into Bob's and he'd look it over and find out that I didn't need everything done to it like the other places claimed. That's why I only trust Bob with all of my car repair needs. His son works with him, as well, and is also an honest person.
