I paid them $600.00 (cash only) to install brakes, rotors and change the oil. I supplied all parts. I also needed a fuel line repaired and a brake caliper. Parts for that were $100.00. They charged me $500.00 to put the parts on, cash again. So I paid them $1,200.00. When I had 300 miles on the car I checked the oil. They didn't change it but put a new sticker on the windshield. They kept my 5 gallons of oil and a new GM filter. I wonder if they used my quality AC Delco brake parts on their vehicle and put on some junk? I called and asked for a receipt and Chris went off on me saying he doesn't give receipts for cash. What a dishonest jerk. I finally got a receipt for the fuel line and caliper. I had issues with a tire that was loosing pressure. I found it completely flat, called Franklin Auto Care, and the stated to bring it in. Not only were they able to fix it while I waited, they refused to charge me for the work. The people there were both professional and extremely nice. For as long as I live in Indiana, THIS will be my shop of choice. My manual car was having some shifting issues and I was basically told by another shop, she's a gonner. So, I started to look for a new car. Now, my this old gal of a car isn't very fancy but she was my little dream car when I was 19, and it killed me to let her go. On a whim, I called up Franklin Auto Care and spoke to Chris who actually gave me hope we might save her. I rushed down and come to find out I was totally misinformed by the other shop and ALL she needed was for my dumb a** to make sure she had hydraulic fluid!
