This was our first experience of hiring movers ourselves. All of our previous moves were taken care of by relocation companies. We came to yelp specifically to see which moving companies had the highest ratings in the Indianapolis area and decided to go with My Movers Inc. for that very reason. We were not disappointed! Starting with promptness and courtesy, Neil, Walt, James and Josh arrived precisely on time and smiling. They worked with speed and efficiency, and showed great care for our possessions. ONE glass was broken (in a box which I packed) but nothing else was broken, scratched or dented. They even moved my plants! The temperature dipped below freezing that night, however, and sadly I lost one of the plants, but I was told there could be no guarantees on their survival and I accepted this. I selected My Movers over other moving companies based on yelp reviews and it was the best decision I made. Their estimate was reasonable and detailed. They arrived on time. We needed 2 trucks and 5 movers. As we had done most of the packing they just had to load and drive to new location that was about 12 Miles away in Indianapolis. The movers led by Walter were courteous, efficient and fast. The whole move took about 12 hours and they worked all the time. I needed them to wear booties so as not to dirty the floor at the old place as well as the new place. They complied by assigning two guys with booties to move stuff to the staging area near the entrance and 3 guys to move them to the trucks. The billing was accurate and complete. Highly recommend!!! We hired My Movers to move us from a one story house in Zionsville to a two story house in Lawrence. They showed up right on time and did a fantastic and quick job! They disassembled our big heavy beds and our office desk and reassembled at our new house! They also disconnected and then reconnected our washer and dryer! They sent three guys for less than what another company had quoted me for only two. Our belongings were handled with care and they were friendly, courteous and professional. We have moved numerous times since moving to Indy 13 years ago and this was by far the best service that we have ever received! BEWARE!! IF YOU DON'T READ MY REVIEW - YOU'LL REGRET IT. We moved from our 4 Bedroom house in Noblesville to Pendleton. Our crew (Frank + Gerald) showed up promptly at our assigned time & got to work right away. They had our entire home unloaded and into the truck in under 2 Hours - I was blown away. Once we arrived to our new home, then unloaded the fully loaded truck into our home and up 15 stairs all under 90 minutes. Frank and Gerald were truly incredible, I cannot say enough about them. We moved into a brand new home, so we were very sensitive to touching walls, etc - They didn't leave a single scuff! In 2020, I'll be write-in voting Gerald for President & Frank for Vice President! read more

Super awesome company!! Thomas was very professional and took time to explain everything to us. We moved on July 3rd and had them booked a good six weeks ahead of time. They arrived right on time and worked as hard as it gets for 8 hours straight on a 90 degree day. They moved our entire 3000+ square foot home in 8 hours flat and even helped me move an old heavy TV out of the basement of my new home. Its amazing what they can do with a crew of 4 men and a 26-foot truck. There is no moving company that even comes close the the professionalism, work ethic, and price!! I used these movers to move from Carmel to Chicago at the middle of March and it was very good. I never used movers before so I was impressed. I actually lived in Carmel for a few years and accumulated some new furniture so we didn't have the capability to move ourself. Our family was happy with the move and they packed us also. They pack a day before moving and then moved us to Chicago the next day. Actually I couldn't find the listing for the branch that moved me to Chicago because they just opened a branch in Carmel but I confirm with the owner this is the same company. My Movers did a great job. Jack, Jerry, Chance and Desmond were experienced, efficient , helpful and courteous. They had to deal with some rather large heavy antique pieces, and were very good at navigating tight stairways, and nothing was broken or damaged. They had no problem placing the furniture and then tweaking that placement to our satisfaction. What was quoted is what we were charged at the end of the day. It was a reasonable quote compared to several other companies I spoke with. We would definately use My Movers in the future....just not in the too near future as moving is exhausting!! read more

We hired My Movers to move us from our duplex in Broad Ripple to our new home in Fishers and it couldn't have been a better experience. Easy to work with and time efficient. Called about having some furniture moved from my mom's house in a different city to Indianapolis. They offered me a solid quote and explained how everything would work. They arrived to my mom's on time, were quickly loaded up, and back on the road. The whole thing took about 2 hours. Saved me a weekend of back and forth trips and coordinating with others. Once at my house, they were in and out. Made lifting what I thought was heavy furniture look easy. Highly recommend My Movers! They had a terrific crew come to an apartment we needed to clear out after a family member had passed. Crew was very responsive and worked hard to get all the items out with care and quickly. We had the items moved from a 4th floor apartment which was far from the building's service elevator to our home's basement as well as to an off-site storage unit. Guys moved me in just before COVID. They did a nice job and it was pretty quick. Sometimes I wonder where they were but in the end they told me they took off 15 minutes for water break which was perfect. I had an elevator so it took a while back and forth down the building too but thats just looooong apartment halls. Glad I moved to a house now. My Movers made my last minute move a breeze! All my furniture was effortless moved to my new home without any stress, and quickly too. They did an absolute awesome job. I unfortunately was help up and they arrived to the location before I did. They were able to coordinate with my apartment building to get the furniture off the truck and in a safe spot in the interim. Of course this was by my request.
