Clean, music playing and friendly(Melanie). ordered a beer that came with a frosty mug, chips were brought with a great tasting salsa. ordered thtee CarneAsada taco's($6ea). when the came single tortilla, and small amount of toppings that barely covered two . three small half quarters of a lime. had to ask Melanie for more of the toppings. if you're going to charge a premium price, at least bring enough toppings to justify. When we first entered, we noticed the strange smell. After sitting there for a while, I think it's just because of the amount of seafood that they do. Not a fan of places that charge you for chips and salsa, but in the end they did not charge us for sodas, so it all worked out well. The salsa had decent flavor. The extra hot salsa was very good very hot very smoky flavored. Combination plate by far was the best love the chili. Riano tamales had tons of meat in them. Will definitely go back again. Prices are a little high, but overall not high enough to keep me away. Ryan would probably love it except for he'll never leave his specific Mexican restaurant that I am not a fan of. Pretty sure our server was the George from the name of the restaurant. Super friendly staff definitely a fun place to go. Hang out and watch a football game and have a spicy margarita. read more

I have been going to Little George's since the day it opened. Nothing but a wonderful experience every single time! I recently switched jobs and live farther away from it and I have been desperately missing their amazing food... missing it so much, that I got their food catered to my work recently for my team... and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. We could easily use EZCater to get it delivered to us flawlessly. It was hot and fresh and my hard-working team at my hospital praised it all day long! Much of my staff has asked when we can possibly order it again! There was so much in quantity that I took it home even for leftovers to enjoy all week long. Sooooo let me tell you... if you haven't had it yet, what are you waiting for?! Not to mention, the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming! I had a combo plate: ground beef enchilada, taco, and rice and beans. All was good and the rice and beans were out of this world. Absolutely fantastic flavor. Everything came out hot and our service was stellar. Got the house margarita special and was super impressed by the cocktail both in flavor and strength (not a short pour like some places). This was my first time trying Chilaquiles and I was not disappointed! They were absolutely delicious with or without steak here. I got mine with a scrambled/omelet style egg and it was perfect. They were a little expensive but I would come back to try the non-breakfast options. read more

I had a disappointing experience today when I popped in to order take out. First of all, the place is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. But I ordered a Taco Trio and paid extra to get a Shrimp taco instead of the Carnitas one. I almost always always look at my order before I leave an establishment even if it is a little awkward. I failed to do that today and got home to find I did not get my Shrimp taco. To make matters worse, I had to spit out about a third of my Carne Asada because it was gristle. (I took a picture but decided not to post it because it was so gross). The grilled chicken was good, but on the dry side. Because the price point is higher than others in the area, I was especially let down. The avocado slices were generous and the tortillas and toppings fresh. I'm saving my Carnitas taco but I had a little taste of the meat, and it was tender and flavorful. I do plan to return sometime to try a dine in experience--I hope the Chimichangas are as good as they sound. read more

Excellent food, menu selection, and service. We have now been there three times, and the quality is consistently good. This visit, we had the Pregnant Burrito and the Trio of street tacos, selecting carne asada, shrimp, and carnitas. These were just the right size to allow us to also order flan and sopapillas (comes with four.) A very affable Little George made sure everything was to our liking, and the service was prompt and friendly. The initial chips and salsa was also accompanied by some spicy jalapeno-infused venetable slices, and these are good (and spucy.) The lime-jalapeno cause with the street tacos is pretty spicy/hot, so recommend go easy with this side sauce. The flan is to die for, creamy smooth and delicious. The sopapillas resemble an Indian Fry Bread, topped with a cinnamon sugar dusting, and go great with the supplied honey. My next plan is to try their Colorado Buffalo (bison) Fajitas. I just hope I have room for the flan after that! Little George's recently expanded their footprint, so booths and tables are readily available in the off-rush-hours we like to eat. read more

Overpriced, dry, thin cuts of meat, that boasts no flavor. If they chose to marinate the beef, it would probably help, but there was no seasonings. The seating area was fine with the exception of several annoying flies. They need insect lamps, or something. It certainly doesn't help the overall experience when you have to navigate the flies. I just wonder what might lurk in the kitchen that is attracting them inside in the first place. The one saving grace, our waitress, she was very attentive and didn't miss a beat. Honestly, her service was the best part of our dinner. We tipped her well, and left with no intention of returning. We went to Little George's Mexican Restaurant to try it and were pretty pleased with our food and overall experience. I got the Pregnant Burrito which is stuffed with a crispy chile relleno inside. The burrito was delicious and the relleno inside was crispy and delicious. The best part was the green chili which had a nice heat. Also on the list of memorable food items was the salsa that was served at the start of the meal. It was fresh and delicious with lots of great flavor. We also ordered top-shelf margaritas which were strong and tasty. You definitely knew that you were getting your money's worth on these. The staff were all working very hard, but they had a lot to do on a busy Saturday night. They were friendly and checked back with us several times. read more

This is a nice, tasty little Mexican restaurant. This is located right across from Arapahoe High School. The food is very good, not really spicy which suits me as due to some dietary issues I can't handle a lot of heat. Overall not a great experience going here. We were seated at a booth that looked like it had water on it, after closer inspection turned out to be food. The salsa was bland, the margaritas were ok. I ordered a pregnant burrito and was served a plate of green chili with two tortillas wrapped up. Didn't even bother bringing it up to the wait staff since when I pointed out the table was dirty they asked what I spilt. Little George provides a pleasant, helpful and courteous staff. That's the reason I'm giving them three stars instead of two. But everything else is quite ordinary. They provide just one complementary chip and pico serving. The chips were very sparse, presented in one layer, not very many. Given the prices, they could do much better on this item. The pico that came to our table with the chips was still partially frozen. Not a good sign of things to come. I had a shredded beef burrito. The meat was dry and the flavor blah. I had some beans and rice which were bland. My wife had a chicken and a beef enchilada. She thought they were okay, but the beef was not good, it was also dry, and chewy. I like my Mexican food spicy and flavorful, but that was not the case at Little Georges. The ambiance? No! Just tables and seating. I would not recommend Little George's to anyone used to having good Mexican food. I don't think I'll be going back. read more

Adorable little spot! Popped in here with a group of friends since other places had super long wait times, and I'm so happy we ended up here! Everyone here was so friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. The manager stopped by during our meal to check on us, which was nice. Pretty decent small Mexican restaurant pretty close to Highlands Ranch. While I really have no complaints, I have no accolades either. The best of my combination plate was the shredded beef burrito. The crisp chili relleno was soggy, small and lacking in cheese filling. The cheese enchilada was mediocre and lacking in cheese filling as well. The chili was just mediocre alsol. Chips and salsa were fair. Was hoping for more authentic or uniqueness. I will go back one more time and try a few other menu items. read more

Decided to try Little George's after church with friends. It was a very good decision. The four of us agreed that the food was uniformly excellent. The green chili was particularly good. The star of the meal was the Pregnant Burrito. I won't tell you what that is, but be assured it's a well-considered choice should you choose to order it. Service was spot-on. The waitress was attentive, the food arrived quickly, and the owner checked in on us a couple of times; we never felt neglected. The ambiance was nothing special, but the restaurant was clean and in good condition. Televisions were airing the Bronco's game, so there was a bit of Sunday afternoon entertainment also. We are going back. I saw at least five other menu items I want to try. You should too. read more
