Combo plate with bean burrito tamale and Chile Riano
    Glen W.

When we first entered, we noticed the strange smell. After sitting there for a while, I think it's just because of the amount of seafood that they do. Not a fan of places that charge you for chips and salsa, but in the end they did not charge us for sodas, so it all worked out well. The salsa had decent flavor. The extra hot salsa was very good very hot very smoky flavored. Combination plate by far was the best love the chili. Riano tamales had tons of meat in them. Will definitely go back again. Prices are a little high, but overall not high enough to keep me away. Ryan would probably love it except for he'll never leave his specific Mexican restaurant that I am not a fan of. Pretty sure our server was the George from the name of the restaurant. Super friendly staff definitely a fun place to go. Hang out and watch a football game and have a spicy margarita.

Amazing collection of carnitas, shredded beef, and shredded chicken!!!

I have been going to Little George's since the day it opened. Nothing but a wonderful experience every single time! I recently switched jobs and live farther away from it and I have been desperately missing their amazing food... missing it so much, that I got their food catered to my work recently for my team... and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. We could easily use EZCater to get it delivered to us flawlessly. It was hot and fresh and my hard-working team at my hospital praised it all day long! Much of my staff has asked when we can possibly order it again! There was so much in quantity that I took it home even for leftovers to enjoy all week long. Sooooo let me tell you... if you haven't had it yet, what are you waiting for?! Not to mention, the staff is beyond friendly and welcoming! Their patio is adorable as well as the spring and summer weather is upon us! Marlene was wonderful to help us with placing this catering order. Eat up folks!

This was my first time trying Chilaquiles and I was not disappointed! They were absolutely delicious with or without steak here. I got mine with a scrambled/omelet style egg and it was perfect. They were a little expensive but I would come back to try the non-breakfast options.

I had a disappointing experience today when I popped in to order take out. First of all, the place is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly. But I ordered a Taco Trio and paid extra to get a Shrimp taco instead of the Carnitas one. I almost always always look at my order before I leave an establishment even if it is a little awkward. I failed to do that today and got home to find I did not get my Shrimp taco. To make matters worse, I had to spit out about a third of my Carne Asada because it was gristle. (I took a picture but decided not to post it because it was so gross). The grilled chicken was good, but on the dry side. Because the price point is higher than others in the area, I was especially let down. The avocado slices were generous and the tortillas and toppings fresh. I'm saving my Carnitas taco but I had a little taste of the meat, and it was tender and flavorful. I do plan to return sometime to try a dine in experience--I hope the Chimichangas are as good as they sound.

Flan, sopapillas, and honey. The flan is creamy smooth and delicious. The sopapillas were a pleasant taste surprise.

This place is way over priced. Especially when you place a simple Togo order for green chile, rice and beans. I do like the food though.

Other times I'm just in the mood for a cocktail that reminds me why I don't waste my time at places that think whiskey and cola is "craft." This visit was all about the cocktails, and Seven Grand absolutely delivered. Josh, our bartender, was running the room like a conductor leading an orchestra of happy whiskey drinkers. He asked what we liked, made a couple of recommendations for Old Fashioneds based on our preferences, and absolutely nailed it. Every drink was balanced, flavorful, and dangerously easy to sip. The guy knows his whiskey, knows his cocktails, and somehow still manages to make everyone at the bar feel like they're his only customer. The whiskey selection is enough to make a bourbon nerd lose all sense of financial responsibility, but surprisingly, we escaped without needing to refinance the house. If Josh doesn't own Seven Grand, someone should probably look into fixing that. Until then, I'll keep showing up to "try just one drink"... knowing full well that's a lie I tell myself every single time. Highly recommend. Just don't blame me when two hours mysteriously disappear.

Drinks in hand we headed back to spend time with Forrest, who took us on a brief tour of the facility. He gave us the history of how Stranahan's started. It was interesting to learn that they bottle by hand. We came to our tasting set up. At each couple there were jars with items to smell that would be aromas or tastes we would experience, like rose, leather, tobacco, and cinnamon. There were four tastes paired with caramel, cheese, chocolate and fig. Each pairing brought out different flavors in the whiskey samples. We both had a lovely time and at the end, I had my husband pick a favorite for me to get for him for his birthday. Great experience!

They had $15/hr for unlimited play as of this writing and our party of four certainly got our money's worth. It wasn't crowded at all on a Monday at 1pm (unsurprisingly) and we kind of took over the place. An older gentleman was working the whole place, and he made some surprisingly good cocktails for what is basically an arcade. It's not huge, but a decent size, with two floors. A few machines on the first floor was off limits for unlimited play, but everything else was fair game. Our favorites were the South Park (natch) and Iron Maiden machines, along with an oddball non-pinball machine called Ice Cold Beer which was simple but quite challenging. A great place for flippin' and sippin', as their sign says.

First let's talk about their wings: their Cajun wings were BOMB! Cooked perfectly, seasoned heavily like I like it and the flavor was great! I think they may be the best wings I have found in Castle Rock. The pizza was one with prosciutto & pickled onions. So good! The crust is on point. Cooked beautifully. Just trust me on that. The server took our order but never put it in so while our friends ate and drank we got nothing. Once we were able to track down the server, she blamed the kitchen which left a bad taste in my mouth (I'd prefer she just admit she forgot to put in the order) and when my friend's pizza came out 12-15 mins later, it was the wrong pizza altogether. She got pepperoni. So they had to remake it. They still get 4 stars because the food was awesome. I would definitely go there for takeout and plan to soon!

The night started fun, but things quickly took a turn. From where we were sitting (not part of the group involved), I noticed a man becoming aggressive toward another nearby group--yelling at them and eventually shoving someone, which led to a fight. As someone simply watching it unfold, it was pretty clear who escalated the situation. What was most surprising, though, was how it was handled. The owner appeared to side with the individual who initiated the confrontation and ultimately removed the group instead. Later, we heard that the man involved was actually a friend of the owner. From an outside perspective, the group that was asked to leave seemed calm and was minding their business before things escalated. Watching everything unfold--and seeing how it was handled--left a really negative impression. Unfortunately, that experience made the environment feel uncomfortable and biased, which is disappointing because the night had started on such a positive note.
