Conchas
Vanessa T.

The pastries were so good! We were attended super fast and the cashier was super friendly. The interior was super clean. We ordered coffee as well. That was also great. I'll be coming back for more pastries. This place is so good. The bread was warm and super delicious.

Small place but always smells amazing!!! Came for Mother's Day, they have rose conchas! Perfect for my mom!! I feel bad that only one person is working today but she's very organized and very helpful!! Helped me order and I appreciate that. Every time we get conchas here they are delicious!

I don't understand why this place only has 3.5 stars. Went to Keoni and saw this place next door so hubby and I decided to try it out. We got the strawberry krunch concha and cinnamon roll concha. Omg!! Soooo delicious. The best conchas ever!! Quality bread and so amazing. Definitely better warm. Hubby was too fast and took a bite of the cinnamon roll before I could take a photo. Definitely recommend this place for conchas.

This was my first time visiting, and overall I had a great experience. The conchas were tasty. I originally planned to get only the Nutella-filled one, but the variety caught my attention, so I also picked up the strawberry, mazapán, and churro flavors. The lady who helped me was very friendly. The conchas had a nice texture. I was worried they might get hard by the next day, but the one I had with my coffee the following morning was still soft. I didn't get to try the Nutella concha because my mom ate it, but she said it was really good, so I'll be back to try it myself. Overall, the conchas were good and definitely enjoyable.

My Panecito is such a cute little bakery that happened to be right next door to where we were having dinner, so I decided to pop in for a coffee and pastry. I ordered the Tres Leches and we also tried the cookie butter cheesecake. Both were decent, but the cheesecake was a bit too dense and rich for my taste. The real standout was the Abuelita Mocha...10/10. It had that classic Abuelita chocolate flavor without being overly sweet, which I loved. While I'd probably pass on the pastries next time, I would absolutely go back just for the mocha.

Stopped by to try their cafe de olla and it was pretty good more on the mild side. Also got the abuelita espresso, it was OK as well. Tried their strawberry crunch concha and I highly recommend eating this right away while it's warm. It lost some of the magic as it got colder. Everything went well on my first visit here, service was good, the place was clean. I really wanted to love this place. I just can't help but feel like it's missing something. I probably would come back for the cafe de olla but not often it was very sweet.

Pumpkin concha!

So have to agree a bit with the other reviews that the service is lacking - there must have been 5 people behind the counter and only one person was helping customers. I didn't order a drink so my order took less time but I still had to wait for the lady's order in front of me which took way too long. ON a good note though the staff was friendly and nice but just very slow. I think it's the drinks for some reason but even if you're not ordering one you have to wait for the ones in front of you. I do have to say the pumpkin concha was really good - fresh and flavorful if a tad bit on the pricey side. I guess on par with gourmet donuts though so not that bad but I only tried one cuz of the price. i Nice location with lots of parking and it is a cute place inside. It could really take off if they could get the service a little up to par. Hopefully they do in the near future cuz love to see this place do well.

It's very pink.

I walked in and told them I wanted a vanilla and strawberry concha. The staff member acknowledged my order, retrieved my order, placed it in their respective to-go bags, and gave it to me. I paid then I left. Honestly how much easier can ordering take out get? The display is adorned with enough goods to make a fully satiated man crave more food. The bakery itself is small, but since it's connected to the Loaded Cafe next door, there is enough room for those who also want to dine in. Five stars for the amazing baked goods and simple service.

Came here in the evening and didn't have to wait long, which was a nice bonus. The breads were warm when I got them and smelled amazing. The cashier was friendly, and the shop feels new and cozy. I ordered a 4-pack and enjoyed all of them, but the churro concha was definitely my favorite. Would happily come back again.

Strawberry Matcha

Stopped by with my family to try some pastries, and I decided to order the strawberry matcha as well. They didn't have many concha flavors, but I'm sure they had ran out because we stopped by late maybe an hour and a half before closing. The Nutella concha was warm and really sweet, but still good. The cheesecake flan wasn't as sweet but was also enjoyable. The strawberry matcha, on the other hand, wasn't good. It didn't taste like matcha at all, all I could taste was strawberry syrup. I think it also had some kind of whipped cream on top, which tasted a little off to me. It was way too sweet to finish and just didn't taste balanced. I honestly felt like I was drinking straight strawberry syrup. Other than the strawberry matcha, we had a good experience overall. The store was really clean and aesthetically pleasing, and the girl helping us was very kind.

I came here because it looked so cute on the outside and also on the inside I love all the pink. I think they work with or same owners the next door restaurant because the cashier came from over there. Service was good. I got the strawberry concha. Wasn't gross but also was not good. It's a 3 and a half star concha. Maybe I'll try something else from the bakery next time if I'm in the area

Went here to have something cool for a hot day after lunch. I got the cookies and cream milkshake and my friend got the strawberry crunch shake. Both were very good. The strawberry crush shake tasked just like the strawberry crumble ice cream bar. Their pasties also looked very good. Will have to come back and try more! The lady that helped us was nice and gave us good recommendations for next time.

This business obviously isn't listening to their customer.

The carnitas themselves are the star--tender, juicy pork that's been slow-cooked to perfection with that signature crispy edge on some pieces, delivering rich, savory flavor without being overly greasy. It's seasoned just right, with a nice balance of porky goodness and subtle spices that let the meat shine. Wrapped in a large, fresh flour tortilla (they make their own in-house, which always helps), it's stuffed generously with the classics: fluffy Mexican rice, creamy refried or whole beans (depending on your preference, but both work great), chopped onions, cilantro, and a solid dose of salsa. I went with their green salsa for a bright, tangy kick that cuts through the richness perfectly, plus a dollop of sour cream and cheese for that creamy melt. No skimping on portions here--it's hearty and filling, easily a meal that satisfies for hours. At around $10 (give or take, based on current pricing), it's a great value in the area. The burrito holds together well without falling apart mid-bite, and the overall balance of textures--tender meat, soft rice/beans, crisp onions--makes every mouthful enjoyable. If you're in the mood for classic carnitas done right in a casual, bakery-taqueria spot with great salsas and a friendly vibe, this one's definitely worth grabbing. I'd rate it 4.5 out of 5--only docking half a point because it's not reinventing the wheel, but it's executing the traditional style exceptionally well. Highly recommend if you're near 728 N Tustin St in Orange! Pair it with an horchata, yum

Usually parking here isn't too bad if you're staying for less than an hour and easy to walk over to the dessert shop. Baked Banhs is located in the 4th street food market, one of the first shops you'll see if you're coming from the parking lot. Note the hours before you come (for instance, they're closed on Sundays and Mondays). And note that they seem to usually sell out of certain items by the days end. We've tried a number of different items here now including four of their canelés and their basque cheesecake. The cheesecake was solid. But we really loved their canelés. They are soft/moist on the inside with a nice crunch. And the different flavors really come through. Our favorite is the black sesame - not only is there black sesame peppered on the top but also in the center with a nice black sesame cream. It's so good and delicious. Four canelés cost $16 and thought they were well worth the price. Again, it's so sad to hear that Baked Banhs is closing soon so if you're a fan of canelés or other desserts, recommended to come sooner than later to try this out! We really hope they reopen again elsewhere or do a lot of pop-ups soon.
