I decided to give this place another try, but unfortunately I had the same experience I've had before. When I arrived today, I was told the açaí would take 20-30 minutes because it still needed to thaw. If a menu item requires that much preparation before it can be served, it seems reasonable to have staff arrive earlier so products are ready by opening time. First time ever coming here, the inside is super cute! When I walked in, I had a pick up order and no one was in the front so I sat on the bench. I really didn't mind waiting assuming they were making stuff in the back. A lady came out with attitude, kind of like why are you sitting? I normally don't do this but, this place is seriously a hidden gem. They may be a juice bar and have great bowls and all, but you should really try their Vietnamese coffee too, it's completely out of this world. I heard the recipe was 30 years old. I do deliveries part time, mostly on the weekends and had a pick up from this place recently. This is the ONLY place in all the time I have been delivering that denied me the use of their restroom. When I asked politely, the super rude Gen Z worker replied "we don't have, like, a public restroom". I honestly could not believe it. When I told her I had never once had someone deny me use of a bathroom at pick up before, she had no reaction and made no apologies. A public restroom? As someone picking up an order for your customer, I am effectively the customer in that case. 99.9% of restaurants and other establishments have no problem letting a driver simply use the restroom while picking up an order. What would it have cost her? Furthermore, I used to be a regular customer of this place years ago before they decided to continually charge more and more for basic drinks that are not even made with organic fruit and that you could get anywhere else for much less, without the horrible service. The day I came in, the place was completely empty, just like it always is each time I have come in in recent years. How they are still in business, I do not know. Why this unpleasant person is still at the counter I also do not know because reading these reviews, my experience with her was clearly not her just having and "off" day. She literally has zero customer service skills and seems quite pleased with herself about it. Whoever runs this place could not seem to care less about customer feedback. read more

I came in on Sunday. I really wanted to like this place because I just moved to the area and there aren't a lot of açai places around. I pre-ordered my "butter-cup" bowl so that it would be ready when I got there. When I walked in, I was really impressed with the seating and the cute decor. No one was there to greet me. After a minute or so a girl walked out. I told her that I was here to pick up a bowl and gave her my name. She handed me my bowl and didn't say anything else, then walked in the back. The bowl was not as good as I would've liked. It was supposed to have almond butter and peanut butter. I didn't taste any almond butter. Ricky was friendly, very patient , and welcoming. He took my order and made the drinks. I had the Cucumber cooler, Love me more and Bloody Scarlet. Love me more was a tad on the sweet side for me but it was still a good drink and the cucumber cooler wasn't as set, especially since Ricky modified it's sweetness based on my preference. The bloody scarlet was perfect it had the perfect sweetness and the beets taste wasn't overwhelming like other places I've had a drink with beets. Tried to come to this place after a morning workout since they open at 8 am but boy was that a waste. I stood outside waiting yet no one has come and it's 8:40 am. I mean seriously if you can't get up on time for your shift then don't open. The reason why I waited so long is because I already ordered the drink on ClassPass since it said it was open and I can't get a refund on the drink that I got. I'm sitting in my car waiting for the place to open. I can't even give a review on the drinks or bowls because I probably won't be receiving it anytime soon. It was not runny and more on the thick side, which is perfection for me! The rest of the bowl was like any other. Good fruit and granola. But I honestly feel the blend is what made it THE BOWL. It was the great Acai Bowl debate for me. I have tried a many Acai Bowls and time and time again Pulp Juice Bar is truly superior. I went in the other day at around 2:50 with a friend and we got a turkey panini and açaí bowl. When my friend was ordering an açaí bowl he asked if could have granola on the bottom and top and the worker then said "well that's how it normally comes but ok". We were very thrown off with the attitude as this was our first time so how would we have known that they come like that. We will say the açaí was amazing and very good. For my panini, I asked for no tomatoes. I'm not too sure if the red paste was a part of the house made pesto but it tasted like tomato's and as I'm allergic I was also a little confused to what it was. I was also confused as one side of my panini had yellow cheese and the other side had a piece of yellow cheese with a white slice, I was unsure why there were two different cheeses. The boba bags always caught my eye on social media and it's such a cute idea because the only other place I've ever seen bagged boba was in Southeast Asia. I will say this was a little difficult to open the boba bags without spilling so make sure you read their directions in store or open this outside. The flavor is really good. I got a fruity pa tutty green tea instead of black tea and it reminded me of Tastea-- it was really good. My boyfriend said his milk tea was a little too sweet for him but he prefers less sweet drinks. Their drinks aren't that expensive either. Less than $4 for a 20oz tea without boba. Boba only costs .60 extra. And if you check in on Yelp it's buy one get one 50% off drinks! I have to say the Açaí bowls here too are extremely reasonably priced. The chia pudding and granola are so delicious. The granola is crispy and very easy to chew. To be honest, I think this place is better than blue bowl and I love blue bowl! I'm excited to come back and try other drink flavors. The quality of food and drink here is really good. There's no artificial taste and everything tastes very natural and healthy.
