Had to give an update-- My Pet Naturally continues to blow our mind with their integrity, service and commitment. They have saved not only our dogs life but ALSO our neighbor's Boston Terrier whom was told by a profit-mongering local vet to "take her home to die". Nope = that was a year ago and now baby Blue runs up and down the stairs and runs after her ball. Only with the help of My Pet Naturally-- I have been caring for now, not just our dog, but our neighbor's angel dog, and have reversed her condition and fully regenerated both Blue and our Luna. The frozen raw food from Steve's Real Food (with raw goat milk and organs) is soooo cost effective as well as all of the other healing products I get from them. And they have a point reward system, wooot!! We just got a free bag of dog food because it was our 12th bag. Their entire team is a dream come true. In times such as these, it is inordinately important to be able to see the jewels in our community and to support them. For 4 small pet food packages, they stuffed everything into a MASSIVE USED CARDBOARD BOX from their own shop deliveries -- big enough for a microwave. The 2-3 times I got a paper bag? Recycled Trader Joe's bags -- cheap, flimsy, and reused. Today I returned and the OWNER YELLED AT ME IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS for my honest review. He refused to apologize, defended the no-bag policy, and berated me instead of listening & told me to put back the items I wanted to purchase. My dog is obsessed with this place! When we take him on his walk down Pico, we have to make sure we bring money or cross the street so he doesn't notice the place. He will usually walk right up to the door. We've never had him groomed there but have heard great things about their grooming services. We love all of the natural dog food, raw food and snacks available to him. We just let him roam the store and select what he wants. He'll take it to the counter and we pay (because it's really just his world we're living in lol) and then he walks out. My pup loved it. I was also educated by Gabriel (I hope I got his name correct) regarding the different foods they carry for both cats and dogs. My pup loves the raw food in the freezer (that I cook!) and this helped me finally solve my dilemma with him not eating in the morning.. They also have the best chicken bedding selection in all or metro Los Angeles. The owner is pleasant, personable and knowledgeable. My client's dog, an Aussie, got away from the groomer and was on the loose for 24 hours. Everyone was devastated until she turned up the following day sleeping in some bushes. Two good Samaritan's helped capture the frightened dog and as luck would have it my client was scouring the streets looking for her and drove up at that moment and rescued her. She was pretty traumatized and hadn't been eating. I phoned My Pet Naturally and asked if they could deliver some Real Meat Lamb treats and Erin was delightful, said yes she could have it there between 12-1. I just heard from my client and the dog is begging for more she's so happy. Thank you! read more

I Love this store and their groomers for many reasons; but let me begin by relaying something I witnessed. A young woman was very obviously high and hanging outside in their parking lot. The owner, Neal, was having her sit down on their bench and offering her a bottle of water when I had come up just leaving Trader Joes where I got this same girl some nourishment and toiletry items she had asked me for when I asked her if there was anything I could do for her. That seemingly small act of kindness on Neal's part is HUGE as most shops would rather not be bothered, nor treat her well. Meanwhile, my dog was being groomed and both Lois and Ivan are great. The store has wonderful natural flea remedies that actually work, as well as food and treats. I am a fan for life of anyone who shows such kindness. read more

Well, if you are shopping for cat food/items good luck. This is mainly a dog food store. Also the prices on the shelves may not be what you're charged, when I noticed a pack of food was 3$ more they shrugged and said that prices are rising so fast they can't keep up. I don't think that's the best excuse, it's one main part of owning and running a store. It's tough because I like to support local shops, but I think I'll go to another local store that offer a better selection of things for cats. read more

A friend recommended it to me because i was looking for a good groomer. It is very far from where i live but i don't mind the drive because Ivan is the best! I say this because i know my fur baby, she can be really hyper but i did not hear any complain from him at all. I even asked if my Chloe gave him a hard time and he just said, no, she was just excited. When i took Chloe, she was all matted, uneven cutting by yours truly, and have fleas! Ivan mentioned that she has to be shaven bec of the matte etc and i just told hik do what is necessary and he did. I'm very happy and would definitely be back. read more

Manager was rude when I asked for the case discount on dog food I had been receiving for years at this same shop, as I like to support local businesses. I wrote a review and emailed the new owner, who told me he'd honor the discount and didn't want to lose business over $10. His email says they give case discounts. Guess what? The next time I went to buy food, the same manager didn't apply the case discount even when I mentioned the owner had confirmed it. Instead, she called the owner, who said his policy had changed, and why should he give me a discount since I wrote a bad review? (now mysteriously disappeared), and to go elsewhere. He also complained about how he was losing money (I wonder why with such abominable customer service), badmouthed the previous owner, and called me a bully while talking over me. Classic gaslighting behavior. I left without another word. Now I see that after his cut-and-paste reply, he has added a completely fabricated lie, saying I told his manager I knew when she got off work, a ridiculous, unscrupulous lie, clearly designed to discredit this candid review. If you don't want to live in a world where people make things up about other people to excuse themselves, I recommend avoiding this business. read more
