Thank you Blondie's for having such delicious brunch food and the service was outstanding for our large party. Yelp community I was visiting friends located in different parts of Michigan & needed a great location for us all to meet & that had great home style brunch. After seeking help from the Yelp community, Blondie's was recommended. I reserved the back room and discussed details via phone & email with the Blondie's crew. They were so chill and accommodating even though this place gets JAMMED PACK on weekends. We were never rushed even though my anxious self kept asking if we were okay on time, they kept reassuring me, it was all good. My friends & family had a wonderful time and the food was as amazing as everyone said. You can't go wrong with anything here. Thanks again Blondie team for everything!! Can't wait to come back next time I am back in Lansing for a MSU visit! Love y'all like crazy!!!!

I am overjoyed that I finally stopped in to eat at Blondie's! I have been a lifelong resident of the area but had never been. And, now I know I've been missing out! The restaurant definitely has a hometown feel. There is a small hostess stand, in the seating area when you walk in. The team members we encountered seemed friendly and were helpful in helping us make our food selections. We were seated at a table, which was clean but the remnants of a child eating pancakes before we arrived, was still evident on the floor. It didn't bother us per say but should be noted. For breakfast, we decided on the Mexican burrito with chorizo, with a single pancake as our side, cause why not?! We decided to split it after hearing the burrito is the second biggest item on the menu. And, glad we did! The burrito was huge, stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheese, chorizo and refried beans. Then topped with sauce and more cheese and plated with a side of potatoes. Legit, SO good! The pancake was also nicely sized and we split that too. The perfect crispy edges and the fluffy middle wrapped up our meal quite nicely. The last thing that made this place so great was our bill. We legit left paying about $20 and that included tip! I think we may have found our new breakfast place! Couple last side notes: if you like to get your booze on during breakie, this isn't the place but come eat THEN go get boozy elsewhere! They have plenty of parking as well, just watch for the potholes.

One of my favorite breakfast places in East Lansing area. They have good sweet and savory options, my go to order has been a waffle and chocolate chips. I love their omelettes as well. Although it is always crowded we typically get seated within 15 to 20 minutes. It's not the cleanest environment, but all of our servers have been amazing.

If you are in the area you need to check this place out. The food is amazing but I loved the names of the dishes too. The food fresh and homemade not processed. The service was outstanding local hang out vibe. This one makes the list to revisit soon.

Absolutely a great choice when you're looking for good hearty diner fare...This place is popular and for good reason. Best known for breakfast, and lunch. Portions are big and there's a good variety of choices. Service is fast, very pleasant and seem to be happy doing what there doing...thus there is a very good energy to the place and everyone seems at home. It's a very casual environment. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

    Dining room. Love the murals.

A quaint neighborhood breakfast and lunch restaurant. We are in town visiting our family, staying in the area and found Blondies Barn. We have visited twice for breakfast and thoroughly enjoy the service by friendly staff and very quick service. We both enjoyed their pancakes, eggs, has browns and meats. We are from Phoenix and haven't seen these low and great prices in such a long time. Thank you for the great experience while on vacation.

VERY limited seating; seats about 15 (?) inside; mostly 2 tops and a 6 top. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly, permitted to sit where ever we would like, then handed menus. Turkish music playing was just a bit too loud. Hospitality. Friendly and helpful. Owner-chef seemed very happy to be there, singing and engaging with his regulars. Offerings. Basic breakfast and lunch items with Turkish and Mediterranean classics. No flavored lattes but other basic espresso drinks offered. Chai was excellent. It was tasty and even better with the bread they provided. It could've been packaged in a better way because the oil dripped out everywhere by the time we got it home. Maybe a plastic container with a tight fitting lid. The mezze platter was also quite nice, especially the carrot appetizer. The bulgur patties were also flavorful. The artichoke was slightly disappointing because it didn't have any other flavor than salt and vinegar, similar to canned/bottled artichokes. The salad was fresh and the dressing was light. Overall, this was a light and tasty lunch.

This seems to be a hangout for the senior / retiree crowd (or at least it was when I visited!). Had a seat and ordered a simple breakfast of 2 scrambled eggs white toast on white bread and a coffee. Out of curiosity I looked over the menu and saw the ~$20 omelletes that have become the norm these days, ridiculous. My order arrived quickly enough. The scrambeled eggs were the typical dried out flat blob on a plate, this is what passes for scrambeled eggs these days, toast equals wonder bread with fake butter on one side. This combination should be $4 max, nope $7. how 2 pieces of wonderbread and 2 dried out, flattened egg beaters is $7 is a mystery to me, those are omellete prices. Now the kicker, cup of coffee $4, this is a folgers crystal special with the little thimbles of "creamers"... $4?? Restaurant pricing has become absurd, yes food is up 15-20%, restaurant pricing is up 80-90% So Fernando's, what can I say, the staff is doing their job, the place is clean, just stop robbing people. I would never go back for sub standard food at premium price points, all you 5-star fanboys keep emptying your wallet for hospital cafeteria eggs and coffee, its your money.

Shops, eateries, and public parks make the space walkable and consumer friendly. The Sun Theatre, an old school façade movie theatre brings entertainment to the community and Williamston Theatre, with its local thespian scene, is a fine attraction for those looking for in-person comedy, romance, or thriller stories. This vibe is equal parts nostalgic and familiar. Like a Hallmark Channel holiday special in living color. Such is the vibe that this month's review, That New Place, exhibits and revels in. From the lunch counter seating options to the tables organized by the ceramic miniatures that occupy them to the deli case filled with delectable pastries, this place is simultaneously fresh and reminiscent of prior eras. The staff welcome you in unison and usher you out the door with similar hospitality and well wishes for your return. If you go on the weekend, prepare to wait because it has become a popular destination for the bedroom community and surrounding locales alike. Opened in 2023, by delightful and warm owners Carrie Ballou and Ray Priebe, in the location of a former bakery, the tradition of scratch baked goods serves as a foundation for breakfast and brunch flavors from morning to midday. The dine-in or take-home options are in abundance, and the daily specials are sure to have something for everyone. What's Good I visited That New Place on a Friday afternoon with one of my very best friends who was in town from Atlanta as she was home visiting family. It was busy and the owner expressed her apologies for the delay in the delicious Blueberry Peach Crumble Cake ($8) arriving to our table. She was so sincere that I couldn't help but offer grace. The cake was scrumptious and light but could have been heated just a touch warmer. My bestie ordered the Mixed Greens Salad with Mojito Chicken ($15). The tender cuts of chicken thighs were sweet from the orange-based marinade, and the lemon vinaigrette offered a citrusy bite of sour. The only drawback was the mixed greens were nearly all spinach. I had the same protein on the Mojito Chicken Sandwich ($15) which is served open face atop garlic toast with a spread of hot honey ranch and topped with house made Coleslaw. This sandwich was a hit. All of the components complimented each other in terms of flavor and texture. What's Really Good My first visit was mid-week, and I sat at the counter. At first, it seemed like I was the only one who didn't know anyone as conversations between staff and guests were boisterous and gleeful. Then I realized, that was just the culture of That New Place- no one leaves a stranger. I ordered a la cart Two Eggs ($4), Chicken Breakfast Sausage ($5), Pork-Bo ssam ($6), Hot Potatoes ($5). Every bite was a triumph over the previous. The eggs were fluffy and cheesy. The chicken sausage was flavorful, savory and cooked with the right amount of crisp when you bit into them. The Pork-Bo ssam was awesome. Shredded pork shoulder prepared in a traditional Korean fashion with notes of ginger, star anise, garlic, and onion, and black tea. It's not the first thing you think about when breakfast is of mine, but maybe it should be. Still, the potatoes were even better- slathered with the same hot honey ranch that cuddled the open sammy above. Crispy outside and tender inside, but that dressing will have me trying to recreate it in my own kitchen soon enough. Sweet and spiced with red pepper flakes, garlic, onion, and fresh herbs. You're going to want to give these a try. Best Bite The pastries. Period. They are worth braving the construction induced detour in and around town to arrive back on Grand River. I mentioned the Crumble Cake before, but on my prior visit, I ordered two Scones ($5/two) and wish I had the courage to take some home. The first was a Candied Ginger Peach which was soft and sweet in all the ways you want for breakfast. The Blueberry Thyme scone was also soft, but the savory thyme played so perfectly with the fruit that it could be starring on a stage in town as the crowd chants "Encore". Bravo
