This is a family restaurant back country vibe local eatery with a huge selection of omelettes and scrambles. After pouring over the options for some time, I settled on the meat lovers scramble with over easy eggs on top and marbled rye toast. My food was seasoned well and very tasty. in searching for a mom & pop breakfast i came across Blondies & we tried it today. can't say how excited we were to have an omelet that had sautéed veggies AND it was made in an actual pan the way an omelet should be prepared (not splayed out on a griddle & rolled up). the cinnamon roll was delicious. i think if this diner had windows, it would be packed full like Anna's House, because truthfully i enjoyed my meal here better. read more

This is a pretty unique diner. The food was prepared well and they serve good quality . I had a breakfast Dutch omlet that had a pancake on bottom with eggs and veggies. Like a skillet. Good coffee bar too. Only bad thing was parking is limited and not good. read more

Yelp community I was visiting friends located in different parts of Michigan & needed a great location for us all to meet & that had great home style brunch. After seeking help from the Yelp community, Blondie's was recommended. I reserved the back room and discussed details via phone & email with the Blondie's crew. They were so chill and accommodating even though this place gets JAMMED PACK on weekends. We were never rushed even though my anxious self kept asking if we were okay on time, they kept reassuring me, it was all good. I just lost part of my tooth and a filling. After the waitress tried to serve us the wrong order, my asparagus omelet came with a runny interior. I returned the omelet to have it cooked further. While eating the recooked omelet, I broke my tooth and filling presumably on a small piece of bone. This is the second time recently we've had issues with Blondies. Buyer beware! P read more

I am overjoyed that I finally stopped in to eat at Blondie's! I have been a lifelong resident of the area but had never been. And, now I know I've been missing out! The restaurant definitely has a hometown feel. There is a small hostess stand, in the seating area when you walk in. The team members we encountered seemed friendly and were helpful in helping us make our food selections. We were seated at a table, which was clean but the remnants of a child eating pancakes before we arrived, was still evident on the floor. It didn't bother us per say but should be noted. For breakfast, we decided on the Mexican burrito with chorizo, with a single pancake as our side, cause why not?! We decided to split it after hearing the burrito is the second biggest item on the menu. And, glad we did! The burrito was huge, stuffed with scrambled eggs, cheese, chorizo and refried beans. Then topped with sauce and more cheese and plated with a side of potatoes. Legit, SO good! The pancake was also nicely sized and we split that too. The perfect crispy edges and the fluffy middle wrapped up our meal quite nicely. The last thing that made this place so great was our bill. We legit left paying about $20 and that included tip! I think we may have found our new breakfast place! Couple last side notes: if you like to get your booze on during breakie, this isn't the place but come eat THEN go get boozy elsewhere! One of my favorite breakfast places in East Lansing area. They have good sweet and savory options, my go to order has been a waffle and chocolate chips. I love their omelettes as well. Although it is always crowded we typically get seated within 15 to 20 minutes. It's not the cleanest environment, but all of our servers have been amazing. read more

A perfect place to take kids. The dining space is large and spacious, this place is always buzzing, so if you have a little person who has volume issues it may go unnoticed here. The food is amazing. I've made my way through many of the omelets and have yet to be disappointed. Always order the pumpkin bread as a side, you won't regret it! The coffee is what is of note here! Cafe drinks come out in nice, big mugs with the most delicious whipped topping. I had some kind of pistachio latte the last time I was there and made a pit stop in again about a week later to have another! Great place for a coffee date, brunch, lunch or taking the family. The waitstaff is always very attentive, kind, knowledgeable of the menu and patient. You'll want to make this place one of your usual haunts after you try it out, I promise! There wasn't much other flavor to it. The biscuits were great, but the gravy was overly peppery. The best part of the meal was the white cow coffee. Came upon this place while visiting my son at MSU. I'm such a sucker for good ole fashioned diner type places! I don't know why?! But this place delivered. Coffee pipping hot and all the yummy clog your arteries breakfast fare and handful of lunch items. Menu is under a glass on the table for easy viewing and no sticky fingerprints. I got the asparagus omelette trying to be slightly healthy lol. It also had ham and mushrooms in it and served with a side of home fries and huge hunk of pumpkin bread. Was very good. I love when they prepare the omelette with the ingredients incorporated throughout the egg not folded in center! So that right there wins them 5 stars!
