Worst nail salon ever in Redwood City do not go here. There was no one in this nail salon and there is only one person working there and she does a absolutely horrible job. I got a gel pedicure, which was super expensive. I forget how much it cost, but I got totally ripped off when she did my pedicure. It didn't even last for one day. It is so frustrating to find a proper nail salon in the Peninsula because all they do is rip you off and I gave her 30% tip. What a total joke. And then when I called the nail salon, no one answered they avoid my calls and when I went in there for them to fix the problem because four of my toenail gel polish came right off the next day what the heck is that so pathetic and then when it came off the third time I said, just forget it. This nail salon was the only one open in downtown Redwood City on a Tuesday. I walked in and the salon was empty which should have set off alarm bells. The nail technician was nice but she nicked me twice on two different fingers, drawing blood. Ultimately, my gel manicure looked very unprofessional and like it was done by an amateur. I will not return and do not recommend having a manicure here. read more

Tried for second time - not disappointed! I'd still give more like 4.75 because of how glaringly bright it is in here and how odd the placement is of the screens. But. The incense is lovely The music isn't bad The people are great! The price is a little steep, but the massage chair and total lack of RUSH makes up for that I had the basic pedi again today - water temp was just right, nails are just right and well shaped! Friendly technician (Cindy? Sorry - I forgot to ask her name), sugar scrub, warm lotion, a few minutes with oiled hot stones and hot towels - the massage was great and could go on forever ;) Even the time spent on my poor calluses was appreciated. The polish is really well done. I'm just happy. I don't always/ordinarily come out of a pedi happy lately, seems like places don't care. I feel like they do at this place and recommend it. Came here during my lunch break, and my nail lady Sandy did such a great job! There are 4 nails salons in this area, and they are all walking distance to each other. I went to three of them before calling my sassy nails asking if they do acrylic nails FILL because i was told by the first three nail salons that they don't do acrylic FILL. Ok so I gave it another shot. Still everyone was very nice, but decided it's just way too expensive. Things that I could get done somewhere else for at least $20 or $30 less. I'm sad because they are close to home and I was hoping for a good match finally. Also they just kept pushing me AND my boyfriend to get things done that we said (multiple times) that we couldn't afford on top of everything. I can't go to places where I want to relax, but instead I am being pushed and badgered. The owner Tim is wonderful about getting back to you right away. And when one of my nails got messed up he's was fast to help me make a new appointment to fix it, free of charge. read more

This place has amazing customer service. We arrived about 1 hour before closing and they were able to take us right away for 2 acrylic nails and 2 pedicure. They took their time and did not rush which made the experience much more relaxing. They make sure you are walking out with perfection. Truly care about their customers. Went again on Saturday this past weekend. Sandy is swamped and needs help. Everyone wants her to do their nails as the other ladies aren't as good. As busy as they are she needs a few other good helpers. A little on the pricy side but really nice work and friendly staff. Sandy was amazing and really did the gel mani well. I loveee this salon! I've only been twice but Cindy's work is amazing!! I went in on my lunch break today cause I had a few broken nails (shellac gel) and needed them fixed. My nails were super thin and bending so Cindy recommended I get a full acrylic set in the same color. I give it two stars only because Cindy is super sweet and does a great job with decorating and polish. I have been here 2-3 times before and I highly recommended to my family. Cindy is constantly picking and choosing who she wants to attend to. I have been sat down on the pedicure chair before for two hours while she took in other walk ins. On one of my visits she asked me to get off the pedicure chair and come back the next day because she would rather take the walk in after me. I had very high expectations from Cindy as she was raved about by my sisters and my mother. I was hoping that Cindy would be my permanent nail lady but after two bad experiences with my nails I am convinced to cut off my family from going here as well as myself. She's constantly changing the price when it's convenient for her. My natural nails are now close to non existent. She applies nail glue on top of my natural nail causing the acrylic to break off my entire nail. One of the acrylic nails broke off just the next day on my vacation. I still can't remove the nails she put on me back in late July. The acrylic is so thick that the acetone cannot break the bond. Not worth your time and money and I suggest people stay away from this scam of a place. read more

Came here to try a new place and I really love Cindy! The place is new so there is usually no wait. She did my pedi and mani and it was super fast and really good service! I went to this place after my sister tried it her nails looked nice so I figured I give it a try, walked in place was empty except one customer, the manicurist was gushing about how her clients tell her she should never go on vacation and work daily because she's amazing, the lady that was doing my nails didn't seem to understand basic English, normally not a problem, I asked for a manicure with a basic bow design with a little crystal. Simple enough she cut me twice on my ring finger (which was my focus, since I was getting a new ring) she didn't even try to use anything to help stop the bleeding until I tried, fast forward nail polish was old took multiple coats to get the color to match, nicked me again this time not as bad I asked about the design since she was finishing up, she looked at the other girl and and she said she do it, reluctantly did the design I choose, mediocre try at best, less than a week later nails are chipped stone is missing bows look like scissors, I had excess nail polish that she didn't clean up, she said I should come there from now on I said I usually go to Natalie's around the corner, she replied I used to work there, manicures like this are the reason why she doesn't work there no more for sure. If I could give this less then one star I would. Do yourself a favorite go somewhere else. read more

This place is recently minted. Kim did my pedicure and was very eager to make sure she did a wonderful job and she did. This will be a local spot to keep in mind but I think it is quite pricier than what I am used to. The experience can be a bit confusing as it is a new presentation concept. I wasn't sure what to expect and had difficulty understanding, but I went with it. I lucked out and had a nice experience. I enjoyed picking my own aroma therapy experience. I went with lemon and really enjoyed at how silky my legs felt thereafter. Also, there was no wall of nail polish, you pick the color from samples. As this is so different than what most people might experience and pricier,I would recommend a large sign so people can clearly state if they want 1. Basic 2. Deluxe 3. Luxury service. With tip my total was $85 and a bit beyond my comfort zone but I'm not complaining because the service was earnest and the massage chairs were amazing! read more

They have really beautiful colors and really make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I agree with the other reviews, prices are pretty high, I paid 80$ plus tip, but I think it's worth it as i love the shape of my nails, they took their time and I had a great customer experience.
