I am not easily impressed, but My Services really stood out from many of the other contractors I recently had to deal with. They are honest, hard-working people. They show up when expected. They charge a reasonable fee and they go out of their way to keep customers satisfied. On top of all, they are pleasant people to work with. I only wish all contractors were like My Services!

I recently moved and have had a steady stream of contractors working on all sorts of projects around the house. Most were difficult to deal with, canceled at the last moment, had an attitude and were more concerned about collecting money than doing the actual work. My experience with Richard and his son from My Services was very different, which compelled me to write this review.
I had them do some work on my deck. Richard gave me a very reasonable quote. They showed up exactly when they said they would, right on time. They were very easy to deal with. Communication was clear throughout the whole project. When I pointed out that some of the work they did could have been done better (mostly because I am extremely picky, not because they did a bad job), I fully expected Richard to push back and/or ask for more money for the additional time he would need to spend. Instead, he promised to come back the next day and address my concerns free of charge, which he did. I asked him if he wanted me to partially pay him for the work done at the end of the day since 99% of the work was complete (minus what he promised to redo). He refused the money and told me I could pay him for the whole job when he comes back to finish it.
Our arrangement was that I would provide all the materials, but when Richard and his son showed up, I realized that I was missing some things. Richard assured me that they had everything needed for the project with them even though I was supposed to have everything ready for them. They were able to keep going despite my oversight and they did not even charge me extra for the missing materials. There was also a slight mishap where they did some damage after their work was already almost complete. They went to the store, bought the materials necessary to fix the damage and fixed the problem at their own expense.
I am thoroughly impressed by their willingness to go the extra mile and by the fact that they were able to stay on budget despite all the setbacks and even despite my own oversight with the materials. I will definitely be coming back to My Services for future renovation projects. read more
