Fabian responded in a very timely manner along with an hourly rate. I really appreciated the quick reply and the rate he provided because that is not the case with most contractors. We ended up going with someone else due to our time constraint but when I let Fabian know, he cordially accepted and still replied back to wish us the best and to call on him if there are future requests. Again, I appreciated this follow-up because not a lot of folks respond if the project doesn't move forward. I have a toilet leaking at the base. Initially I thought about replacing the whole toilet. Fabian evaluated and recommended just replacing the wax ring and a few parts, which is much less expensive for us. In the end Fabian replaced rotten wood and screws and installed a new non-wax ring. He also fixed some issues in the tank. The toilet works great after the repair. Fabian is very professional and charges reasonably. I highly recommend him! read more

I need to leave a follow up, because I did end up calling Fabian again for last minute assistance with an appliance delivery that hadn't gone according to plan. Not only did the delivery company not remove items that I had expected them to, but they provided the wrong hookup for the dishwasher. Fabian spent hours hunting down the correct part for me, and also corrected the sketchy installation that had previously been done on the microwave. He really went above and beyond to get everything sorted out, and he even checked on a couple of other maintenance items for my tenant while he was there. As a follow on to my previous review about the chair restoration ... Today is her birthday. The wrapped furniture polish has been sitting on the chair for a week. She didn't open it because she didn't want to spoil the surprise. So, today she was in the living room. I told her I wanted to give her the gift. She asked me to bring it to her. No, you have to come to the family room. After more coaxing every step of the way, she stood in front of the chair and opened the gift sitting on it. She saw that she got furniture polish. Stunned, I explained, pointing to the chair, that this is the big gift, that it had been professionally repaired and restored. She burst into tears. It took her a few minutes to recover.
