Boise, Id. This is a very nice place to lodge for the…read morenight. It was easy to find and it has ample off street parking right next to the house. The bed is comfortable with a good firmness. The whole unit is nice and clean. The bathroom is small with no counter so if you use the top shelf to place your toiletries on, be sure to remember them when packing up (I Totally Forgot Them). The shower stall was plenty big enough for us and has a quick supply of hot water with no pressure issues. The towels are excellent, they actually absorb water and dry you off. There is a kitchen we didn't use but the full size refrigerator was a plus. The air conditioner did a pretty good job filtering out all the smoke from the wild fires. We like to turn AC units off at night because of the noise, and open a window. None of the windows here are operable though. Probably for the best considering the unhealthy outside air. The neighborhood is quiet with only two noisy vehicles all night long. Be aware however that construction begins at 6:30 am on the large project directly across the street. It is unlikely you can sleep through any of the sudden din. Earplugs would be helpful, but of course I did not bring them. The locking system for the door is a great idea and so easy to use. You get to use four digits of your phone number and it's already set up! We really enjoyed all the restaurant choices close by that were in walking distance. The route meant walking through the capitol building grounds, which were kind of cool. We didn't use the available bicycles but maybe next time!

It's crazy to think that everything was contactless. You get a code for the door, you pay in advance, and there isn't a need to see anybody. Our unit was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the walkability to downtown and the State Capital. We walked to downtown everyday of our stay. We weren't around much to soak in the property. There is laundry in the back, and a backyard you can relax in. We did read out on the porch while sipping on a can of beer. That was fun. I highly recommend staying at the Boise Guest House. Especially if you are someone that's independent and doesn't want the fuss of hotels. Oh, we never figured out how you can use the bikes. Make sure to ask before your trip. I was hoping that there was information, but I couldn't figure that out.

The rooms have an unusual layout for a Marriott, but we really liked it. There was a sitting area and a separate bedroom area, with a TV on a swivel so it could be viewed from either side. Our room also happened to have a nice leafy tree right outside the window, which made it feel a little more relaxing. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was crowded, but the variety of offerings was impressive. There was a waffle station, bagels, muffins, scones, oatmeal with all kinds of toppings (chocolate chips, pecans, granola, peanut butter, honey, and more), yogurts, eggs, sausage, hash browns, and hard-boiled eggs. Plenty to choose from and a nice way to start the day. The place is a bit of a maze and it might be a long walk to your room, but you gotta get those 10,000 steps!

Rugs were old and filthy workspace was dimly lit, and the air conditioner was extremely noisy. The food in the breakfast area was very limited. There are very limited amenities other than the Boise River being 250 yards away. If they assign you a room, which is on the third floor and a high number you will be walking for what seems like hours to get to the lobby. Television Services awful. Unless you are a tech savvy teenager, navigating the television options are a nightmare. In an area with no, or very limited nighttime activities it was difficult for us to get anything to watch.

Don't be fooled (like I was) by positive reviews before this company came under new ownership. It…read morewas a nightmare working with this company, and I lost an enormous amount of money after terminating their management of four furnished properties. I was told this company had a "waiting list" of medium term renters for furnished housing, which turned out to be false. Short term bookings resulted in unscrupulous situations requiring my constant oversight: 1) I repeatedly asked them not to advertise that pets were welcome in my property listings. And they repeatedly continued marketing pets. One occasion after asking them to market no pets, I find that guest had brought a large dog. I worried that they were collecting pet fees on the side. Email updates from hosting companies informed me that BoiseBnb Managers were collecting early check in and check out fees without may knowledge or consent ($50 per booking, in most cases). When I requested transparency of all funds collected and paid out to me (monthly Profit and Loss Statement), they repeatedly refused. After I terminated their management, they booked someone the same day for a lengthy stay (10+ days). And they gave him keys to use the washer dryer in the SEPARATE downstairs unit that rents rooms to "WOMEN ONLY." It terrified my longterm woman tenant when a man suddenly appeared in the unit. They had previously managed those rooms in the separate apartment. Following the termination, furnishings were missing (curtains, a lamp). Petty stuff hardly worth involving the police. One digital lockbox was missing. BoiseBnB charged me a $1000 early termination fee and a cancellation fee for a booking that I could not honor (after their termination). In the end, they mostly managed the bookings that I had previously gotten on my own (through Airbnb) and my income dropped from over $5000+/mo to a couple payouts of around $350 and $475 - minus the $1000 cancellation - the $200+ booking cancellation. They told their cleaner not to clean for two existing bookings when I gave termination. I wish I had NEVER done business with BoiseBNB. It was an enormous loss of time and money, in the end.

I had planned on having my dad visit me in Idaho because I had some vacation time off from work. I…read morethought it would be nice to rent a home nearby for him to stay and feel comfortable. I had paid upfront for my airbnb 750.00 for a home in nampa for 3 nights. This was expensive already but I thought I would be paying for a good product. My mistake. My reservation time was 4PM. My dad's flight came in at 12:30 so I was already eager to get him settled so he could rest from the flight. I got a call and text at 3:57 as we were pulling up the drive way, stating the air bnb was "ruined" by the previous people staying there. Obviously I was concerned and upset that not only was it not ready on time according to the contract but that the house had not been taken care of. This was all not mine or my fathers fault and when we called Caitie the home manager she was abrasive and rude from the start. I called her to request a refund because I was no longer comfortable with the stay. She proceeded to say absolutely not and instead of being understanding she was combative and unreasonable. Beyond poor service skills. I was shocked by the lack of humility. My trip I had planned to spend with my dad that I don't get much time with anymore since I had moved was ruined. If there was any kind of service suggestions or an approach along the lines of how can we make your stay better would have made all the difference. If anyone reads this. Strongly would not recommend.
