3-23-22 A wonderful place next to Kid City close to Olive Garden by Macys to bring a Keiki. Three of us entered as it opened at 11 a.m. and the worker was sweeping up some bling from the floor. We waited by the counter. First you select the type of slime material. The worker explained which were harder to work with for first timers. I chose Milk and Little Sweetie chose Clear. The worker brings each participant a tray with needed material. Follow the directions on the table for steps. The process will take close to an hour to complete and just under $20 per person but could be more based on your choices. The fun part is choosing your color and you have a little container to fill with bling from the far left wall. You are given a plastic knife to stir with and a spoon to fill your container once. I would choose Clear next time because you can see all the bling and sparkles. Very pretty. The Milk was opaque. Hubs wanted to just watch so we made him be the instruction reader and time keeper for mixing the ingredients into slime. They were out of two of their fragrances an optional last step. Seemed super concentrated so we decided no fragrance needed. I came out with blueish hands so be prepared. A single adult works well to assist a child so bring along another person to help a small child.
Every Friday my daughter and I would meet up with her bestie from gymnastics and do a different play date. May was a pretty rainy month so we had to think outside of beach and pool play dates. My Slime Playroom seemed right up these little girls alley. What 4 year old isn't intrigued by slime. At first I was kind of skeptical just because you can make slime at home for that price. But I can honestly say the price was worth the experience. For us we spent well over an hour making our perfect slime. Being it was a Friday there was no wait time, staff were super friendly and answered all our questions. The girls had 3-4 different slime bases to choose from. Once we chose which slime we wanted to make we took our ingredients set them down and went to the add on wall. You can add as many add ins as fit in the cup they provide. With endless options of glitter and beads the girls had a field day picking out the best. Then it was time to make the slime, note to self just don't dress them in their Sunday best when coming here but they had a blast mixing their little hearts away until we got the perfect consistency. The steps they provide were truly fool proof and made this experience that much simpler. At the end you get to pick what color you want your slime to be and even get to add a scent. It was a good time, we got to take home our slime and the girls really had a one of a kind play date.

It's an easy process that takes some time but the end result is amazing. My kid was extremely happy. The person working here was also extremely nice, friendly and knowledgeable, I would recommend this place
Great idea... love that there is a place to make this slime concoction other than at home !!! It's so much easier and a fun outing too we've gone in a few different times and each time we've found a table easily and have had semi -helpful staff members assist the girls when needed. It's pretty self explanatory for the most part ... although I do think the younger families could use more guidance in the process - witnessed several families looking unsure and going up to ask questions! If this were my shop I would want the staff to be more welcoming, fun for the kids like the Disney store or something, and more present in the process .... but that's just my unsolicited advice ! My girls are older so it's not a big deal to us & we will definitely be back regardless since my husband is anti slime Really good idea and I like the quality of their products!
This is a slime workshop, so you have to make your slime before bringing it home, I think we spent about 45 minutes here. First, you purchase your slime kit, there are four different types of slime to choose from and price range is from $15-$20: Basic $15, clear glue or Elmer's style glue, great for starter experience. Jiggly $15, made with organic food grade ingredients. Butter $17 soft smooth, buttery slime, just like real butter. Cloud $20, light and fluffy super soft slime that fluffs up and drizzles so nice like a real cloud. Second, choose your table (there are about 10 tables with 4 seats on each table), place your kit on the table, take your special container and go to the "add in" station. Only one trip allowed to fill up your container. The container is a good size, and it could fit a lot. Third, make your slime. You can color your slime, and at the end add in a scent to make it smell nice. Simple instructions included on each table, and there is a store clerk walking around to check on everyone in-case you need any help. The slime gets messy at the beginning, but once all is blended in well, you will see and feel it come together. This shop is clean, and definitely an eye catching place for children or even young teens. Seems overwhelming and crowded, but once you have your supplies, it really doesn't matter because that's when the fun begins. Unfortunately, there was no sign of hours on the door, I assumed it opened at 10am when the shopping center opens. So I stood in line along with the others, eventually the doors opened at 11am, and immediately upon opening, all the tables were taken. Some were sent away and advised to return in an hour, that was the case with walk-ins, return in a hour and hope there will be an empty table or just keep returning. Not a good system... Anyway, cute place, and it was a hit with the nieces' they are already asking to go back.
When we first arrived all the tables were full as I had expected. I would suggest walking straight to the register to write your name down on the waiting list. Do not try and take an open table because there is most likely a wait. The worker told us there was a 45 min wait so we walked around the mall to kill time. You can leave your phone number and they'll give you a call when your table is ready. First you chose whether you want white ($15) or clear ($16) base then you take your kit to your table and add in solution number 1 and stir for 5 min. Then you take your slime up to the register and add your color. There were many colors to choose from! Then you add solution #2 slowly and continue to mix your slime. After you are done mixing your slime you take your heart container and fill it up with glitters and gems located on the shelves next to the wall. First trip is included in your payment, but if you would like more add ins there is an extra charge. Then you take the soda water and spray your hands as you mix your slime. Once at the right texture you can add in your glitters/gems. Last but not least you can take your finished product back up to the register to add a scent. Some of the scents we added to our creations were lemon, blueberry, watermelon and strawberry. There is a 90 min time limit to create your slime. Such a cute and fun activity for both girls and boys to enjoy. Also I've seen a range from toddlers to older teenagers creating their slime, so it's not just for the younger kids. Would be an awesome idea to host a birthday party here for your child. The shop is located across from H & M in kamakana Alii mall in Kapolei.

My little sister and I love slime! How are we so late to this? It was such a nice way to have fun with a toddler. The tables had instructions on how to make your slime. You can even pick whatever toppings you want to put in your slime. It cost me about $16 but it was worth it.
I got to give it 5 stars we were greeted to a friendly slime staff she was very patient with my 5 nieces explained to all of us step by step what we need to do also came and checked on the girls to see how they were doing. I have nothing negative to say about this place my nieces all had a GREAT FUN time getting there slime from beginning to end kept them busy. If you want some fun times and new memories try it out yourself.
Located on the Macy's wing at Ka Makana Ali'i. Cute and girly, you can't miss their storefront as you approach. On the inside, the decor and setup is aesthetically adorable as well. Decided to take my daughters here at opening time, because I wasn't sure if there would be a wait. Being that this was their first visit here, I wish we would've had more of an in-depth introductory of the process. Luckily, my girls aren't new to making their own homemade slime so they eventually got it down pat. Loved that you could choose your slime's texture, color, scent, and of course - the add ins! They have everything from glitter, beads, confetti, charms, and so much more!
My son has been asking me to make slime and although we can get the slime kit at Walmart, I thought this hot spot would be the better option since they have a ton of add ins and isn't the basic kit. We walked right up to the register to sign in. Nothing to sign in on so I waited for one of the two girls to notice my presence since they were kept very busy. They pointed us to the menu of slime kits which was at my knee level and I'm not tall at all. The girl went to check if the unattended table was available and came back to us waiting at the register. Luckily, my pregnant body didn't have to wait long and there was a table ready, yasss no waitlist for this momma! We sat down and were waiting for the girl to come back...but since she was busy and this was our first time, we went up to the counter to choose the kit and pay. I got the Butter kit, which is what she recommended. Directions were on the table and so it began... It was a fun activity and once the slime was thoroughly played with, it wasn't as gooey as it was when we mixed the ingredients. The only request I would recommend is more add ins for the boys and to at least hire enough employees to walk around and assist on a weekend.. Other than that, my family had a blast and we got to take home our slime.
It's definitely a fun activity you can do with your children. There was a 45min wait, we were put on a waiting list and they called us when it was our turn to be seated. They walk around, help clear items off your table that you've used and assist with making the slime if needed. The one thing they may want to add for the decorations is more boy items, such as sports themed items, etc. We will be back, my child enjoyed it & wants to try the other slimes!
Remember Nickleodeon? That was my go to station when I was little and I always enjoyed it when some kids gave the wrong answer or failed a challenge and all the slime would just dumb on them. This play area doesn't dump it all over you but it's nice to reminisce and tell my son about it. The place is small and looks like it's better suited for a doll/tea party for young girls then a place to get your hands dirty. White walls filled with cubby holes of trinkets and glitter to go with the white tables and ribbons. You know a place where a 7 year old boy goes ewwwww. There's maybe 15 four seated tables and they fill up quick. That day four were reserved for a party. And there is a waiting list if it gets too busy. Just leave a name and number and walk around the mall till they call you. When you finally check in you'll receive a basket of ingredients to make the slime. Follow the instructions on your assigned table's counter top. It's so simple even a five year old can follow the pictures. (Yea I messed up. It's like setting up the time on the stove for Christ sake. JK) They also give you a tiny heart shaped case to fill up with little trinkets and glitter for your liquid goo as it transforms to slime. The process is pretty quick about 20-25 mins. And it's a great way as a parent to relax while your kid learns to follow instructions. And it's not too bad if you have to help. Overall five stars. It's small but get interaction with the kids and that's what's it's all about. Now excuse me, I'm going to find old episodes of Nick at night. M

Today my family finally got to go make slime! My son has been asking to go for months. When we first walked in, many tables were taken and it was pretty busy and loud. I didn't realize that it was connected to the new kid city next door. As we walked in, we was greeted by the workers immediately regardless how busy they were they still managed to welcome us in. The lady at the front explained everything and the slimes when we got to the front counter. We decided to make 1 each, my son picked cloud, I got the clear and my husband went with the butter slime. For 3 slimes we paid $60! Holy cow! That's pricey! Each table had instructions to follow but the lady walking around the floor also helped us when we needed help! The cloud one was fun to make and fun to play with! It was really clean inside and the add ins for the slimes was sooo cute and well organized! My hand was hurting mixing the slime youtubers make it look so easy to make haha but overall we had fun! read more
My 8-year old daughter is OBSESSED with making slime. Morning, noon and night, our house is basically a slime factory anytime my daughter is not in school. I have a giant bin filled with all glue, shaving cream, contact solution, food coloring, fake snow and all the other countless items that are required to make a completely useless concoction which has somehow managed to captivate my daughter's attention for what feels like years. We wanted to reward our daughter for getting her back handspring in cheerleading, which has taken her almost a year of hard work, and all she wanted was to go to My Slime. We took her on a weekday morning and she was in heaven! I didn't understand how this was any different from making slime at home but she happily made cloud slime like it was her first time! What I like is that they have all the ingredients packed and ready to go and you don't have to clean anything up. I feel like the whole point of going is so you can add in all the gems and beads, but since my daughter decided to make cloud slime that wasn't an option. The girl running the cashier station and handing out supplies was super nice, and the other girl with fake lashes who was filling up all the supplies really didn't want to be there at all. The girl with the fake lashes should get a new job, because kids are there to be happy and she was a total downer. My Slime is an activity any child will love but I don't know if we'll be back because my daughter can make all of this at home since she's a slime pro with the help of countless hours of Youtube. But there's definitely a 80% chance we'll be back again because of how obsessed my daughter is and my husband loves spoiling her. read more

Sensory play dates for little kids or little kids at heart. The Slime Playroom is a great place for parents to guide their child to create a new slime toy. The instructions on the table was easy to follow and staff were also helpful. You can customize the texture, scent, color, and small decorative pieces. Due to small bead parts, I recommend going based on your child ability to follow and know not to put non-edible things in one's month. Staff reported no age but I think a mature 3 and over is a good age with good parental supervision. My four year old daughter loved it because of all the pink colorful pieces available. I wish there were maybe something more fun for boys (ex decorative insect shapes,dinosaurs shapes, cars, stinky fart smell..). Overall, good experience. It wasn't too messy and we could grab lunch afterwards at the food court. My daughter still enjoyed playing her slime when she got home and on the next day as well. read more

Oh my! It's like walking into every little girl's Slime Dream! Located across from H&M in Kamakana Ali'I, it's a small establishment, but perfect to keep the kids happy while the Mom's are shopping. When you enter, there's a wall full of little trinkets to add to your slime. The lady behind the counter is awesomely friendly & helpful. Did you know that there are different types of slime to choose? You can choose from white, clear, butter & cloud. She gives you a little tray with your materials & asks you to have a seat at one of their tables. There's a little heart shaped container that you can choose a multitude of trinkets that you can add to the slime. There are no refills, one trip only, but if you wanted to refill, there is a additional charge for refills. On the tables, there are instructions on how to get your slime started. When your ready to add color, just walk back to the counter & you have an array of colors to choose from. When your slime sticky & ready...walk back to the counter to add scents to your slime. My daughter never looked so happy & left there with such a huge smile that it made it so worth it to stop in. read more
This new addition to the Ka Makana Ali'i is a fun way to hangout indoors with kids. The cute slime making craft and a wide variety of "bling" to add to the slime is a good time for most kids. My daughter loved it. Some advice go early. There are only 9 tables seating 3 to 6. The girls are very sweet but fairly new to slime making and had complications themselves. The counter is way to small and they need a separate counter for paying and a separate for adding colors. I think it went smoothly for us because we got there early and followed directions on the table. So if you need help when it's busy you could be waiting. Since it is new they still have some functionality kinks but overall a great and friendly experience. read more

We made the trip to Hawaii from California just so the little kid can play "build their own slime" at the mall...I can't believe I just said that...but in the end, it's all about our kids having a blast, right. Good service and prices. We definitely recommend. read more

Super cute! It's pretty pricey, especially if you have multiple children. The prices range from $15-$20 per slime kit. But it's cute to experience at least once! Comes with everything you need and instructions. During the busy times you have to wait but we waited less than 5 minutes to get a table. Depending on what slime you get, the process varies slightly. So my suggestion to them is to have instructions on the table that reflect that. Right now there are just general instructions on the tables so we had to stop and ask questions twice. No big deal, just food for thought. All the added little beads and such are REALLY the icing on the cake. They have some quality little things in there that the kids enjoyed adding to their slime creations. You get some with your slime purchase. You fill a heart container and it's $4 to fill the heart container every addiction time. Overall cute little place! read more

As a treat I brought my grandson to My Slime. This was our first time there. We've made our own slime at home before, but he enjoyed that he could add a color, scent and decorations to it. If your child is young, my grandson is 5, they will need help from someone bigger. There is a lot of stirring and mixing that needs to happen to make the glue turn to slime. Expect to get your hands sticky in the process. The workers there try to be helpful and there are signs around the store and on each table to help you through each step. This was a great way for us to do something different and allowed my grandson to make his own toy instead of just buying one. read more

We went on a rainy day. Great indoor activity. Great anyday activity to do something different with your kids(especially if they love Slime). Slime! Slime! Slime!! What a great way to kill time before heading to the movies. When we arrived they was a small wait but they take you name and phone number so you could walk around until a table opens up. When we did get called in the had a table closest to the register. There's 4 different types of slimes, we went with butter. The instructions are placed on the table on what to do and how long to do each step. Agreeing mixing the first part together you go up to request a color. There's so many to choose from! Next you add to play with the slime until it's not sticky anymore. Next you get to go up the the decoration wall and pick from so many choices ! We could fill your heart up all the way to the top. Next you'll fold in your decorations. And request for a sent! So many to choose from! Over all this was a very fun experience for my family. We'd love to stop by and do it again! read more

This place is cute and such a great idea. The store set up is super cute and I love the displays. We ordered 3 Kits. 2 butter for my children, a 3 year old and a 9 year old. We arrived right at opening time so we didn't have any issues getting a table. The staff were friendly and helpful. The instructions were easy to understand. My kids loved it. The only issue I can see is having to stand in the same line for paying, scents etc. Although, it would only be an issue when busy. read more

We went here yesterday on a Saturday morning, I saw a review about the wait and that they opened at 11. So we decided to go a little early. I'm glad we did, when we arrived the girls were just opening up shop, being the first ones there they helped us right away! The girls were both very knowledgeable, I only caught one of their names, Nicole! She was so sweet and very helpful. They suggested the butter slime which was a hit with my 3 year old since it was the least sticky. Thank you Nicole for being so helpful and checking on us to make sure our experience was flawless! One suggestion I do have would be to have someone run your social media for your business, to keep current and future clients updated. I don't let my daughter play with slime at home because it's messy and I'm not a slime expert. This was the perfect place to let her be creative and have fun. What a smart business, I hope to see it grow! We will definitely be returning in the future! read more

Their hours of operation are 10am to 3pm until further notice due to coronavirus.
Do you need to make a reservation?
No need to make a reservation. We went around 1:30 PM on Sunday and there were about 4 empty tables. The crowd started to pick up about 10 minutes after we got there.
