    Mango Sticky Rice
    Annie C.

The service was great, the staff was very friendly and attentive throughout the whole experience. I had ordered a lunch special Tom Kha and it was a good portion for my to eat with great flavor. I had mango stick rice as well, which was a nice treat. Overall, great atmosphere and food. Definitely recommend.

Duck appetizer in the back. Summer rolls appetizer in the front

I had a wonderful dinner this evening at My Thai. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm a vegetarian and they told me that they will work with anyone who has dietary requests. I really appreciate that. They made the summer roll without the Shrimp for me. I also had the Massaman tofu as my entree. They added extra potatoes because I said that I like them. My dinner companion had the duck appetizer and one of the evenings specials, Shrimp in a Clay pot. I also had a Thai coffee that was wonderfully sweet. Everything was delicious and the service was exceptional

Ordered delivery through Grubhub. Unfortunately the pad thai lacked flavor, chicken was very dry and there were only 3/4 small pieces of it. Found a wire in my food as well. Very disappointed. Thai iced tea was good, but does not makeup for the disappointing entree.

    Chives Dumplings

New grand re-opening after months of reconstruction. Owner and mom was very nice people! Thai tea was delicious. Spicy mango tilapia was well made. Felt homemade! I asked for mild and it was perfect! (American mild too!) As for chive dumplings it was unexpected. First it didn't look like the normal dumplings shape when your order dumplings. Secondly, I didn't like it too much because inside the dough texture felt like it wasn't cooked. Thirdly, the outside of the so called dumpling was very crispy and I liked it. Overall, I would come back to try other items. Decors of the restaurant was also pretty! Plenty of parking!

Pad Ka- Prao (vegetarian with tofu & vegetables)...delicious!

So the first time I ordered from here, I got the vegetable spring rolls & the crispy chicken basil (it comes with white rice). I ordered via DoorDash and the driver was over an hour late, blaming the restaurant's tardiness. My "crispy chicken" was soggy and rolls, mediocre in taste. I took another chance and ordered again but this time via GrubHub. I ordered the Pad Ka-Prao (vegetarian option is both tofu and vegetables). The food came right on time this time around and was absolutely delicious! It was easily one of the best vegetarian dishes I'd ever eaten. The tofu was deliciously seasoned, the vegetables were crunchy and juicy and the sauce wasn't too sweet or too salty and didn't make me feel like I was eating 3000 calories of unhealthy garbage. I would definitely order again and try more dishes. The pricing isn't terrible, but it isn't great either. Give My Thai a try but be aware...DO NOT order via DoorDash.

Tom yum soup, papaya salad, and Chicken Satay

Great little restaurant and pretty authentic Thai food and I once lived in Bangkok for 4 months. Best Thai food I have had in a long time. I would give it a try.

Thai Meric is fast becoming one of our go-to choices for dining out in Frederick…read more We've now visited about 3-4 times, and the consistency of our experience here is impressive. On our last visit, a few Sunday nights ago, we popped in at dinner time on impulse and were seated immediately, though it's not a big space and it gets a lot of traffic. We walked through the little bar to the interesting and well-appointed dining room. I ordered a Singha beer and my wife got her standard Thai iced tea, very well made here. We split an appetizer of delicious crispy firecracker shrimp. She got her favorite, Pad Thai with shrimp, and I got mine, creamy green curry with chicken (I chose a 3 out of 4 on spiciness, which was close to my limit!). Both were terrific, As always, the service was efficient and polite. We haven't tried this place for carryout yet, because I think we just like sitting there so much. If you like the unique flavors of Thai food served cheerfully in a pleasant atmosphere, I think you'll like Thai Meric.

Service was fast and friendly - we were surprised by how quickly our meals arrived. The food was seriously flavorful and plentifully portioned. I was able to request the curry without fish sauce, which isn't an option everywhere. Highly recommend the panang curry and drunken noodles, but I would expect everything on the menu to be just as good.

Both entrée portions were very generous in size. Those trees were very tasty and we enjoyed them. Wait service was prompt and also the food came very quickly after it was ordered. The stirfry vegetables were not quite as spicy as I like, so I asked for extra spice and they brought it quickly. The restaurant itself is attractive and tastefully, decorated in a nice Asian decor. The bathrooms were spacious and clean. A total bill was $45 plus gratuity a little more expensive than our favorite downtown Frederick Thai restaurant, but to be fair it was Saturday and they did not offer a luncheon menu on weekends. A big plus was free parking. The downtown Thai restaurant that we frequently dine at requires street parking or parking garage parking. All in all, I would give this Restuarant 4.5 stars... It is very good and I can recommend it with no reservations. We will be happy to dine there again when we are close by.

Is this how gen z customer service is? Another server came out and was a total 180. She was warm and bubbly. Took my order and asked if I needed anything. Food was good. Ordered the crispy chive cakes - very crispy outside and chewy inside. The kapow was also quite tasty. Very flavorful but a little on the salty side, which the steamed rice comes into play. The Thai tea was top notch; a refreshing blend of slightly bitter tea and creaminess, without being overly sweet. I'd come back if I'm in the area. Looks like they have really good lunch deals as well.

It's not big or fancy inside - I think there are 5 or 6 tables, but we timed it right. We were quickly seated and waited on by a cheerful young lady. My wife had a very good Thai iced tea, We split a fine little order of savory chicken satay to start. She got her go-to Pad Thai with shrimp, and I tried a lunch combo with three things I've never had: a little papaya salad, terrific spicy drunken noodles with chicken, and a delightful mango sticky rice dessert. She judged her Pad Thai to be as good as she's ever had, and she's tried many. I thought the satay was a bit dry. The papaya salad was refreshing and interesting, the drunken noodles were firey and memorable, and I may have discovered a new favorite with the mango sticky rice. Everything came out quickly, and the server handled the rapidly filling dining area well. We'll be back for more!

Since we were in the company of a bunch of preteens, ice tea and mango bubble thingies were enjoyed by all. (For the future: they have a full bar, with everything from beers to fruity drinks to shots. I didn't see sake on the menu, but I'm not a fan so didn't look really hard). Apps were good, with serving sizes plentiful. We ordered fried calamari (served in stick form, not rings; weird but tasty), really nice tempura, and Ying Yang shrimp (the spicy may sauce was OK, but the wasabi sauce was killer!). For mains we focused on: sushi. Lots and lots of sushi. The rolled sushi menu is very long; the sushi (actually nigiri) and sashimi menu not so much. Nothing on the menu described how big the portions were so the 'dults each ordered a several different selections, both rolls and sushi. This kiddies ordered ramen, and Spousal Unit got Drunken Noodles with Chicken along with a sushi roll. Turns out the rolls were HUGE so we overordered dramatically (pro tip: ask in the future). Everything was fresh and tasty. My only quibble was that the Spider Roll appeared to be fried surimi (artificial crab) not soft shell crab. How could I tell? No legs, baby! We rolled out stuffed, with a doggie bag full of sushi for Daddy Dearest's second dinner. The price was very reasonable, and the quality far better than Lantern Sushi (but not as good as Sushi Nomo or Lazy Fish). Middle-Oldest Grand Daughter's birthday dinner was a success - and I'm already looking forward to next year's!

Most of the menu is Chinese, with very few Japanese options and even fewer Thai. They also no longer serve sushi, so if you see sushi photos online, be aware they're outdated. We placed our order and bought bottled sodas, only to find out they don't have ice, which my wife was not happy about. The food overall was great, with one exception: the General Tso's chicken. The sauce had no flavor and there were no scallions in it. The broccoli was cooked well and still firm. The pork dumplings and tempura shrimp were very good. The beef and chicken lo mein were also very good, especially the beef. The dining area was clean, but the tables have that slightly sticky finish. The counter area looks messy and unattractive -- a big downgrade from a few years ago when it looked great. Not sure why they're letting it slide. They also prompted for a tip, even though there's no table service. They did bring the food out after I tipped, but still -- the expectation felt off. Great food, but everything else was meh.
