Words cannot explain what an awful experience dealing with this business was. Amanda is unprofessional, and you can see that when you first enter the store with the disastrous condition it is in. I don't know why I ever agreed to go through with this purchase, but as you can see from the photos, she is very deceiving. She told me she can make a beautiful wedding gown for me... but the reality is she lied. Whatever you do, don't waste your time or money. I lost $450 because of her. Do not pay her cash... that way you can dispute the payment if you are unsatisfied. And if you become like me and need a dress 2 weeks before your wedding (because you were deceived by Amanda), go to bestbridalprices.com and choose a dress that's in stock. Amanda was a miracle worker. I was sent from another seamstress that said if anyone can do it Amanda can. She did!! My daughters wedding dress was 4 sizes to big we thought there was no hope. (My daughter lost weight). Two stitches on each side and the dress fit really well. Yes her store isn't as neat as a pin but that's because she practically lives there. She loves what she does and you can tell. She spends time there doing almost all of the work herself. I would go to her again! read more

My experience was awful. I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding, and her and her mother found this store and were so excited about the beautiful wedding dress, mother of the bride dress, and five bridesmaids dresses they picked out with Amanda. Unfortunately, Amanda didn't deliver - literally. We only ever saw one bridesmaid dress out of the seven we ordered, and Amanda failed to communicate that she could not fulfill our order, giving us false hope week after week that she would have the dresses ready soon. Instead, a week before the wedding when we still were missing six dresses, we had to fight for our money back and just go to David's Bridal for a very stressful, last-minute fix. The bride and her mother met Amanda at a bridal show sometime in the fall of 2017 and picked out dresses for the June 2018 wedding. All of the bridemaids went to Amanda's shop in December 2017 to be measured for our dresses. Amanda assured us our dresses would be ready for fittings by March 2018, three months in advance of the wedding. We each paid half of the price of the dress in cash. The store was disorganized and dirty, and it was difficult to see the way Amanda treated her assistant. Amanda never contacted me about my bridesmaid dress from that point on. Throughout March and April, I tried to call her business number for an update on my dress. I left voicemails with my name and number. My calls were never returned. As the wedding neared, the bride was in contact with Amanda, and Amanda kept assuring her that her dress would be in "next week" or "in a few days" due to various delays. Finally, we drove to the shop (which was an hour away for us) during business hours yet the door was locked. She let us in, but when we asked to see the dresses, she had nothing. She claimed they were at her house. We asked to see pictures, any evidence that these dresses existed. She kept making excuses, bringing the bride to tears as we realized we weren't getting anywhere. Amanda brushed off our concerns, promising that we wouldn't need fittings and that the dresses would be ready later that week, days before the wedding. When I asked for our money back, Amanda demanded that I leave her shop. We waited until as late as possible in hopes Amanda would come through, but a week before the wedding, we had not even seen six out of seven dresses, let alone had fittings. Amanda insisted we keep waiting. We ultimately went to David's Bridal and found tailors willing to do last-minute alterations. Needless to say, this was less than ideal, especially considering we originally arranged for our dresses months in advance to avoid these last-minute issues. Dress shopping and fittings should be a fun experience, but ours was the most stressful part of the wedding. No bride, mother, or bridal party should have to go through what Amanda put us though. read more

Walk into this store & your first impression is right there. Cluttered, unorganized, dirty.. The owner, Amanda thinks she's always right & talks bad about every customer that has an opinion or suggestion. She made a promise to the bride that all dresses would be cheaper than David's Bridal (first lie). She's so unorganized she couldn't keep track of who was who and sizings. 5 bridesmaids and all the dresses were wrong. Too big. Too small. She measured so fast it was a mess.. On top of that she claimed she didn't realize the David's Bridal dress which we wanted to copy from has ruching. (We sent pictures and gave her David's bridal dress number). So they had to take all the online bought dresses apart to add it. The pictures alone show how sloppy it was done. We all had to go back at least 3-4+ times which is an inconvenience. The dresses are falling apart and I'd be surprised if they last the whole day at the wedding which is in THREE DAYS (Friday). $170 for a dress no one likes. When we asked her to fix it she said that's how it's done... Ha. I don't understand how she is good reviews. Every Time I went into the store someone was complaining about something. A girl from another bridal party was in there when I picked mine up and her dress was clearly to small (Amanda's reply- it's probably because you just ate. Take some water pills) and a wedding party even said she had the wrong color dresses. WOW! I'll let the pictures do justice. Stop right here and immediately go to a different bridal salon. My daughter-in-law to-be got measured last December for a custom gown ($2,000), as well as her 5 Bridesmaids and a custom mother-of-the-bride gown. We are now 2 weeks and 2 days away from the wedding and none of the dresses are ready. The bride has not seen her dress, nor has she even had one fitting. Amanda let us know she has had family tragedy recently, and although I feel for her loss, she should have notified her customers that she was going to close for two months, and let the brides find somewhere else. We have caught her in repeated lies recently, and have been given more excuses than I can count. She has been stringing the bride along for weeks with excuses why the dresses are not ready, and promising, next Wednesday, now Friday, now for sure on Monday, etc. Well, guess what? They are still not here. The bride has been absolutely miserable through this process. She found this business at a bridal show, and fell in love with one of the dresses. She did not deserve to have this much stress right before her wedding. Thank goodness for the bridal salon that she went to yesterday where she found a stunning gown for less than half the price, and all the bridesmaids dresses as well. Amanda is like that Aunt in the family that tells you what's needs to be done to get it together. She's my go to on everything now. My friend found her and she custom made her stunning wedding gown and all of our bridesmaids dresses. Our dresses were drop dead gorgeous, even though it's not something I'd personally pick out, as a bridesmaid you just go with it. Amanda knew I wasn't fond of how the dress was on me, but she did EVERYTHING she could to make minor adjustments so I felt more confident with it and so it still looked the same as the others. Her seamstress for alterations is insanely talented. She reconstructed beading on the wedding dress in days, did some of my alterations on the spot and over night. Amanda cares SO much about everything. She has an eclectic personality because of the passion she has. She's doing all of my bridesmaid dresses now, and all 8 of my girls called saying how much they love them and how it's the prettiest dress they've ever had, and the uniqueness of them is so special. She found the crazy, outrageous color I was looking for and made it happen for me. She's honest. If she doesn't like something, even if it's hers, she will let you know in half a heart beat, but deliver what you ask for. Very reasonably priced, especially for custom work! She's honest about the process, she straight up would tell me if a certain type of beading wouldn't work and explained why and the importance of it. I'm so excited we've found her! read more

Please, PLEASE for the love of anything Holy do not go here unless you hate yourself tbh or hate someone. Amanda is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. If I could put negative stars I would. My friend and her sister went to Amanda about 4 months ago for dresses to be done May 15th. Never once did they see the dresses for which they put a deposit down for. These dresses were for an event overseas and since they were not done by the promised date they had to leave overseas. As their friend who would be meeting them there at a later date, I agreed to pick the dresses up for them. Amanda kept giving me the run around when I went to go pick them. She told me to come back another day and told me what time to come. I showed at said time and the shop was locked and no one was inside so I left. She did not answer any of my phone calls or texts asking what was going on. Come to find out she told my friends that I had picked up the dresses? To add on to the absolute ridiculousness and confusion She then goes on to say that she left the "packages" with her neighbor in the same plaza and I picked them up from him? I never picked anything up at all. When I went to speak with her in person she told me she couldn't do anything until she had the video footage from her neighbor of the person that "picked up the package". The neighbor never showed up, had to get the police involved, she made up some lies about why the neighbor was late to come with the video surveillance footage. She then went on to video record me as I was on the phone with the police telling me to get out of her store. She is absolutely ridiculous and horrible I don't know how she is still in business honestly. Her store is absolute train wreck, literally like a storm tore through a freaking forever21. I am back from my honeymoon and have thought a lot about what to put as a review. I went through MyWeddingMyDress. I began contacting Amanda last August for my wedding July 1st of this year and met for the first time shortly after. Her store was a disaster but the dresses I saw were beautiful.I gave her the benefit of the doubt, what a terrible decision. We met last fall. Her, my mother, & I looked through different dress designs together. We put ideas together and she told me we would have something in January to look at. We set an appointment for the first week of January to have my bridesmaids, mother, and MIL to be to come in and decide on dresses. At this point, we made the decision and were told to have the girls heel size by March to ensure the dresses would be the correct length. This was completed in March as requested. February 8th we made an appointment for myself, my mother, and future MIL to go in to do what I assumed was look at my dress or at least have an idea of what she had. This was not the case. She lost all plans and designs of what we had talked about I'm the fall and we had to start from scratch. It was okay, I was fine, things happen. We still had plenty of time. She told me the girls dresses would be completed by the end of March and mine would be ready in April. I had been in contact with her numerous times throughout April and May, finally making an appointment for June 6 to see my dress...for the first time...less than one month before my wedding. We also discussed the bridesmaids dresses and she said she would have three of them so I could take them to three of the girls who lived out of state and on the west side of the state. She told me she would have them ready before June 1st, which is when I was supposed to leave town to see them, and that never happened. Then, June 6 (the date of my first actual dress appointment) at 2:29 AM, Amanda texted me saying she was in the hospital and had to cancel her appointments for the day and wasn't sure when she was going to be able to reschedule but would let me know. I am a nurse, have been for a while, and understand people get sick, but at this point we had been having the worst time contacting her and never got responses, the June 6 appointment was all I had. I was understandably upset, and my mother said she would go in and talk with her assistant to at least see something. Amanda was at the shop. Furthermore, she had another bride that was there whose appointment had NOT been cancelled. I had messaged Amanda just before my mother arrived at her shop worried about the timeframe remaining and asked her to be honest with me and tell me if I needed a back up plan for my dress as well as the girls, as we still hadn't gotten those dresses. She called me after my mother arrived and told me she had "been doing this for 18 years and never messed up a wedding, yours wouldn't be the first". She said not to worry. She didn't have anything for my mom to see and we had to reschedule. I was very nervous and overwhelmed. Our next appointment was June 10 at 5PM because it was the only time she could "squeeze me in". I had to call in to work but was not going to miss it. At 1PM her assistant called me to cancel my appointment saying they would reschedule next week. This is three weeks before my wedding, we had nothing, no dress for me, nothing for girls or mothers. I couldn't get a call back and had no idea what else to do. I then decided to call into work on Monday as well and spent the entire day dress shopping at different shops in the area. We found a dress at least but it wasn't what I had wanted, options were limited. Amanda then said the dress was done and ready. I was able to return the other dress. Picked mine up Friday (two weeks from the wedding). It was dirty and very wrinkled. She had one bridesmaid dress for me to take, two "lost in the store" and the others were being delivered Tuesday. I never heard back, no phone answers or texts back. I can honestly say she ruined this for me...and hope others don't fall victim. So so disappointed. :( When trying to contact her the week of my wedding, her shop switched to say permanently closed on Google and the location and name changed. Now that I am back I see a brand spanking new Google listing with no reviews. The old listing is still there, still has all the reviews. Please learn from my mistakes and DO NOT go to this bridal salon. I first went to her store in November 2017 to pick out a dress and start the process for my wedding on June 8th. I went in with my bridesmaids and my mom the first week of December to get everybody fitted and put half down deposits on ALL of the dresses (7 in total).She told me that the dresses would be ready to fit and pick up in the middle of March.She had one bridesmaids dress ready for me in February to bring home and have all of my bridesmaids try on. The dress was beautiful and made me very excited to eventually see mine and my moms. She told me at that appointment that her father had fallen very ill and she had to go back home to VA to be with him during this difficult time, which I COMPLETELY understood. He ended up passing, so I gave her space for a long time, which ended up being a mistake on my part. I didn't contact her until the end of April (6 weeks before my wedding). At this point I hadn't had a single update on my dress, my moms dress, or the other 4 bridesmaid dresses. When I called her she told me that the dresses would be in the first week of May (1 month before the wedding). I thought that was fine because a month was plenty of time to get fitted and have any necessary alterations made. I called her May 3rd- May 10th and FINALLY get a call back from her assistant on the 10th who told me that she wasn't in and to call back the next day. When I got in touch with Amanda the next day, she told me not to worry and that the dresses would be in the following week and that they are beautiful. I called her Wednesday May 16th and the dresses STILL weren't in!! She told me that they would be in on either Thursday the 17th or Friday the 18th, which brings us to 3 weeks before my wedding. My future MIL called her on Saturday and she said that the dresses were being delivered on Monday the 21st and that since she is closed she would have UPS deliver the dresses to the business next door and that she would get the dresses first thing on Tuesday May 22nd and quality check them and schedule me for my FIRST FITTING (2 1/2 weeks before the wedding). She also told my future MIL that she knew exactly which tracking number mine was and which box my dresses were in. I called on Tuesday at noon and didn't get an answer but got a call back from her assistant about 20 minutes later scheduling my first fitting for Saturday the 26th (13 days before the wedding). I was so overwhelmed and excited that I had gotten the call that I made the appointment without even asking all of the questions that I had, one important one being are the dresses even in? I called back 10 minutes later hoping to speak with Amanda to have all of my questions answered, and of course I didn't get an answer. I finally decided that I have had enough and drove an hour to her store with one of my bridesmaids to either see my dress for the first time in person, or to just be done with it all and get our deposits back. I get to the store on Tuesday May 22nd around 2:30pm and the doors were locked. After waiting a minute her assistant opened the door asking me if I had an appointment. I answered no, but I really need to see my dress. She let us in and we caught Amanda right as she was leaving to go pick up her kids. My bridesmaid asked if the dresses were there and she said they were at her house. I now realize that doesn't really add up, because the dresses were supposed to get delivered to her business on Monday, so why would she get to the shop, bring the dresses to her house, and come back to the shop without them? Especially when we are so crunched for time. After a lot of back and forth on why the dresses weren't there, I decided that I needed to stop hoping for these 6 dresses to show up. That day I got my money back and had to start all over finding 7 new dresses... 2 and 1/2 weeks before my wedding. Of course I sympathize with her on her fathers passing, which is why I gave her all of that space in March/April to begin with. But unfortunately, a family member passing does not relieve you of your business obligations and if it does get in the way of these obligations, you need to do the right thing and let your customers know immediately and refund their money so that they have time to go to plan B. She strung me along for so long and would've continued if I didn't decide to let go. It makes me so sad to think of how many other people she is stringing along at this very moment, or any future customers that she will end up doing this to. She told my mother when she went to go get her refund on Friday May 25th (the dresses still weren't there btw even though she had an appointment) that she feels like she is drowning and choking trying to catch up, and this is not the type of business person that should be trusted when it comes to somebody's wedding day.
