Gutter cleaning was never something I planned on hiring someone else to do, but after our home inspector's horror stories about too many owners getting injured doing it themselves I was happy to let the pros take charge. Seemed rather pricey for the brief time the worker was at our house, but he was efficient and professional, and I could tell he was thorough based on the many toys and balls he unearthed all around the perimeter :) I also appreciated that, even during what I imagine is a busy season for them, the person I initially spoke to on the phone offered to come out the next day. Used them last year. 15 windows inside and out. $110. Scheduled them to come out a week ago but got rained out rescheduled for today. Quoted $110. So I thought. Technician arrived showed him the windows to be cleaned which were the same as last year. He said that there will be an additional $30 to bring the ladder in the house. He stated that this was a new policy. This was not conveyed when the appointment was made the first or the second time. Needing the windows cleaned. I accepted. Telling myself there goes his tip. After he had left and I was able inspect his work, the quality was not the same as before. There are a lot of other window washing providers from which I will be choosing from for my next washing. I will not be using My Window Washing again. After getting a call back from the rep the next day after she read my review she said that there should not have been a $30 charge to bring the ladder in the house. It was a mistake by the technician. In hind site I should have called before agreeing to pay the extra$30. She immediately refunded me. Very apologetic and professional. Therefore I am changing my rating and will use them again. read more

Very Poor customer experience. We agreed upon a price before the appointment to wash my windows based on the invoices of the previous times, two guys came, rude, not looking in the eyes, trying to get a higher price than the one agreed upon. I asked them to leave immediately. Called the company, helpless, and rude also. Will never use this company again. I advise you to do the same. read more

I looked on angies list for someone to fix my gutter which was loose along with the downspot which was blown off by the harsh wind. I wasn't sure if my job qualified for the promo so I called them and they honored it. I gave them the details and photos of the issue and they were scheduled to come out after the weekend. The person who came was really nice and took the time to explain what he was going to do and what he suggested after looking over all of the gutters. Overall I was happy with the service. My issue was fixed after 1 hour. I did not use their window washing service but I can say if you need you gutters fixed to use these guys. Their employees are honest and informs you if anything needs attention. read more

I used this company twice 2 years ago and 1 year ago to do the same job. Called them this year obtained a quote for the exact same job again, they agreed to the same price as last year $400 inside and out. Came out to the house after a week, said it will cost $650, and that they are doing me a favor by not charging $1000. We have 65 windows (some oversized, so it's extra). On their website, it says they charge $400 for up to 150 windows. Total bait and switch scam these people became. They don't even honor the pricing that's on their own website. read more

They told me some of my windows were damaged after cleaning them, saying that they would still look dirty. I felt duped since the guy said he knew from the beginning that they were damaged. So what difference did it make to have them cleaned...besides making me pay for it. read more

When I made my initial phone call, I was provided an approximate price for gutter cleaning and windows (gutters $150 + metal guards $75, windows & screens $350). On the date of service, the "technician" informed my wife that the gutter guards were in such bad shape that he could not replace them if/when he took them off. She chose to take his word for it and he continued with the job, removing the gutter guards, cleaning the gutters, and then disposing of the gutter guards. In my opinion, the gutter guards could have been salvaged. They were not in great shape, but I also do not believe they were irreparable. The technician left some debris from the gutters in my flower beds as well. The technician also then quoted additional prices for window cleaning (oversize windows $80, French-style windows $24, Scraping $100, Track and frames $188), none of which were mentioned during my initial phone call. Today, I called to express my concern about the service. The man I spoke with indicated he was the dispatch/manager. Rather than hear me out, I was interrupted and told that he stands by his technicians word. As a person of my word, I will pay my invoice. I was hoping for a constructive conversation, and also hoping they would take my experience and learn how to better communicate and help others. read more

I had the same experience as Alex U. of Highland Park. The price quoted by the technician this year was 1/3 higher than last. When I called the office they told me the large window in my bay window set counted as 2 windows so the bay window totalled 4 windows. There is a picture on their website that shows my exact window as 3 windows! There were other extra charges also not mentioned on the website. I used this company last year without any trouble for washing the inside and outside of my windows. Based on the number of my windows I was in the 26-35 window range and did not have my screens cleaned, which cost me about $165. (Their pricing is all listed on their website). This year, when the worker came to do the same work, he insisted we get the screens cleaned, which per the website would cost $2 per screen. The quote I received this year was for $269 (a $15 coupon was applied). He said I had 36 windows (putting me in the $200 window cleaning bracket). When I questioned about the price the worker became very rude and stated that I could just have someone else clean my windows. After that I stated I only wanted my windows cleaned and not the screens. The worker then stated it was more work for him to do that and I would be responsible for removing each of the screens (which was not the case the year prior). After that I told the worker we would no longer be using his services since his prices / services changed and he was extremely rude. I do not recommend using this company. read more

I made an appointment about a week ago for someone from this company to come between 12:00 and 2:00 today. Assuming they wanted to be paid today, I waited and waited and waited at home, forgoing my work, and no one showed up. At 4:00 I called the company and all they could say was "sorry". They claim the washers went to the wrong address and were told to go away, but NO ONE BOTHERED to call me to find out if I still wanted the service. Very poor customer service and I won't be using nor recommending this place to anyone. read more

10-9-2015 I scheduled a gutter cleaning on Tuesday for the Thursday of the same week. While they were more expensive then competitors ($175-10=$165 for 2.5 story house and more then double competitors to install gutter guards) I found them on a local magazine recommending them as gutter experts with a good reputation and they scheduled it very quickly. Needless to say, they never showed up. I called and left a message and they called back the next day and said there was a scheduling conflict/mistake and it was booked for the next week Thursday. They then offered to come out the next day but didn't offer anything else as a concession. When I stated that I will be looking for a new company they seemed pretty happy with that answer and to let me off the phone. Not a dependable company with horrible customer service skills. In a world with a lot of companies that clean gutters they are way too expensive and not worth the time. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more
