We'd like to think we're self sufficient and able to do our home maintenance ourselves, but after the dirt storm in spring and the new roof we had installed last year, our windows were less than ideally clean. We tried washing, used windex, used vinegar and they just didn't look great. We found LA McMahon in a mailer. We vetted them against two other companies and all were priced similarly, but LA MCMahon had the best customer service and schedule times so we selected them. Setting up an appointment was easy. I had counted my windows ahead of time and they confirmed the count onsite when they arrive. The technician was on time, professional and so polite. He did a great job inside and out. He brought all his own equipment, ladder, etc. It really was worth it to have the professionals come out and do this job. We look forward to using LA McMahon next spring. read more

Have had this company for 30 years but they blew it. Two young men left without cleaning any of 3 storm doors and zero bathroom windows. I had asked for window housing also to be cleaned. None of that got done. Called Mark, who dispatched same two guys - who came in with a cavalier attitude. Said my painters were in their way as why they missed windows. Then, when I pointed out dirty fingerprints on screen frames, untouched window housing, he said, oh, we don't do that part. It would have been easier for them to do the entire window rather than avoiding the parts they DON'T do. Simply ridiculous. Despite not completing the work and doing a very sloppy job on the work they did do, they still managed to send a $405 bill! Lost a very good customer. read more

Easy scheduling online, arrived on time, and the crew was very professional. Fidel was excellent guiding his team, he listened to our requests and made accommodation so I can flow around the house without being intrude upon - I appreciated that gesture. Their competent staff is great on the phone- asking about how many windows and doors you have so that they can give you a ballpark estimate right over the phone. They even offered me a Saturday appointment (much appreciated) and a 10% discount off of the job. Their crew showed up on time, assessed the situation, and showed me where the "extras" were going to be in terms of scraping grime on my large french doors, or in cleaning the debris out of my basement window wells. And the price I paid was pretty close to the estimated price and was competitive with other window washing services I have used in the past In about 3 hours, my windows were shiny again, sparkling like the jewels they are supposed to be and I didn't have to lift a finger other than to write the check! While I only did the exterior of the windows this time, you can bet I will have them back in the Spring to do both in and out, although I may need to wear my sunglasses indoors when that happens! read more

Needed out gutters cleaned out ASAP due to them being so clogged that they were causing water damage to the house (our fault for not getting them cleaned when we moved in, we have no idea how long they went without being cleaned out). Christine was very nice and helpful and got a team out the same day to clean out everything. The removed everything and hauled out the derbies as well (I think she said up to 3-yard waste bags worth). Reasonably priced too. Windows were clean, but some windowsills were forgotten so I had to go back and do them. The worst part was the fact that they were using dirty window cleaning supplies (towels, etc..)Our house smelled terrible like an old dirty wet rag when they were done. It was gone by the next day after but for the money they should be embarrassed. I didn't have the heart to complain to the guys since they were very nice. I made an appt for service but had to cancel. The guy still showed up for the appt. (actually and hour and a half later than the appt). and he called to let me know he was ready to start. I told him I cancelled the appt the day before. He said Ok. Fast fwd a few days and I come home to a voicemail of an obviously pissed off man, admonishing me, asking that next time I set an appt I should be considerate enough to call ahead and cancel instead of WASTING his company's time and gas money just to be told to leave. I was shocked! I immediately called him back, told him I most certainly DID cancel ahead of time, and I didnt appreciate his aggressive and rude voicemail. He starts to agrue that he doesnt think he was rude at all, then he says to call someone else next time I need work because they DON'T WANT my business. And he HUNGUP on me.....really?!! Well, suffice it to say, within the hour he called back (from a blocked number :/ ) to say he checked his voicemails and wouldnt you know it, I was telling the truth. My cancellation was there. And all of a sudden, he appreciates my business..... Sorry for you, Sir, but too late. In this economy when droves of people are doing this kind of unskilled labor to make ends meet, you would think a business without a proprietary service would be a little more protective of their business and image. Hired this company for window and gutter cleaning on our new home. Gutter cleaning went fine, but we were disappointed in the window washing. We paid extra for the window tracks to be cleaned as this was a specific request when we hired the company, and they were still visibly dirty after the service.
