I discovered this salon in July 2025 and was initially very impressed. Even though I'm from Baltimore and am temporarily residing in the Midwest, I made a point to visit MyAllure Nail Spa whenever I was home. My first few visits were positive, which is why I'm giving three stars rather than fewer. Each visit, I had a different technician. I typically get polygel with a design, and the results were generally solid until my third visit on 1/3/26. After calling about 45 minutes ahead, I was seen, but while the design was nice, the base of the polygel set was poorly done (the tech was also rushing for an upcoming appointment after me). One nail had a visible hole in the product, which was patched rather than properly smoothed and reinforced. Less than a week later, another nail cracked across the middle. On 1/11/26, I called to ask about availability for a repair and was told to come in. After checking in, I waited about 30 minutes before being told it would be another hour. During that time, I overheard a technician grouchily tell the front desk, "Just tell her to come back another time," while I was standing nearby. That felt extremely rude and unprofessional, especially given that I had called ahead, was told to come in, and received a confirmation text. I explained that if there was no availability, I should have been told upfront. I had driven 35 minutes from Baltimore and could not wait longer due to a flight back to the Midwest. I really liked this salon, but the combination of subpar workmanship on my last set, being turned away after calling ahead, and the dismissive behavior makes it hard for me to return. Please be honest about availability so clients don't waste their time. The cracked nail eventually split completely and injured the skin beneath my nail bed. This salon is on the expensive side, so to pay all that $$$ and not get service that matches just doesn't work. read more

I received such great hospitality, from being offered wine, snacks, water and refreshments, I felt valued as a first time customer. They took great care of my hands and feet. First time here. It was busy and a bit crowded when I came in. I was acknowledged by the lady checked me in in the front. She was nice and knows what she's doing. All I wanted was pedicure, so they were able to seat me very quickly. After sat down in the massage chair as I was looking through the extensive service menu, I spotted additional service i would like, therefore informed the lady paired with me , her name is Kim. Unfortunately, she did not really understood what I said, other ladies nearby helped her to understand. Which I did not mind at all. However, when she stared working on my toes then after my foot massage, I realize, she is very inexperience and had no idea what she was doing. I was extremely disappointed and informed her I don't want to have the foot massage anymore. Additionally, normally when customers asked for have paraffin hand wax, it will be put on while customer is having pedicure done. And Kim not only didn't do that, rather, after my pedi is done, I waited for at least 10 min for her to get it ready. I am very disappointed with my first experience here. I am sure they have many qualified nail and massage specialists, it was just my bad luck encountered an undesirable one. Notes to owner, please train your staff efficiently before put them on the floor. It is not fair to have customers pay for the same price but don't receive same quality of service as advertised. $39 for a basic pedicure, price is slightly on the high side. $16 for paraffin hand wax, this is comparable. There are way too many nail salons allover the DMV area, there is no reason for me to return and give any business a 2nd chance after a bad initial impression with my valuable time. read more

12.16.24 They got back to me today and said they normally have a one week policy, but since the front desk admin failed to reach back out they will honor to fix it this one time. I appreciated this, HOWEVER, what I did not appreciate is having staff speak in Vietnamese and talk badly about me (not knowing that I speak Vietnamese). It was so unprofessional. If you are going to gossip with colleagues at least wait until after hours. This is such a bad practice and for this reason, I will not be returning ever again. Note: A few hours later the sticker on my two middle fingers came off already. One came off a few hours later after the first one. So no I am not being difficult contrary to what they think. Something is clearly not right with their technique or the products they use. See photo. Clearly the technician didn't know what she was doing. I know this because she asked her colleague what to apply for the stickers. They need to train their staff on how to apply stickers and mandate staff to take etiquette training on how to treat their patrons respectfully. read more

I went in for an acrylic set. Hannah, my nail tech, had her nails done and they were stunning. I asked what she had done to hers and she told me they were Polygel with chrome. I said, that is what I want! She was meticulous and took her time to make my nails look amazing. I honestly cannot recall when my nails have looked so good after visiting a salon. They have look pretty good but these were just beautiful. Well worth the added cost, a basic set is $70 but I had the chrome and nail design added $$. I also left a generous tip as I appreciated the time and care she took. No cuts, even nails, and great design. The salon is newer and while smaller, it is lovely. I really like the light on the stations too. Keep up the amazing customer service and quality work. I highly recommend, 10/10. Ask for Hannah! read more

Wouldn't come back. We had appointments for everyone in my group - 2 adults (gel mani/pedi & PolyGel & pedi) and 2 kids (reg mani/pedis). It was very busy when we arrived and they took a while to find the appointments. I started with the PolyGel, my girls went to do their services, and my MIL was finally taken for her pedicure. I arrived for my pedi as the girls were just finishing up. They had designs on two of their nails so I heard the tech say she'd be back to do a top coat on one girl. She never came back. I asked my tech and two other techs to check if she had gotten or still needed a top coat and they said she had it. Well, what do you know, she didn't. We went away on vacation the next day and one daughter's mani/pedi held up and the other girl's was gone in a day. It was pretty disappointing. Why pay for a mani/pedi if it's off in 24ish hours? My PolyGel looked nice but I didn't realize that they overfiled my nails after taking off a dip manicure. After about 10 days, I had grooves in the new growth and it looked awful. I decided to pop in to this nail salon last minute for a pedicure, and I didn't make an appointment. It was 11 AM and they weren't busy at all that Monday. A lady named Julie assisted me and she did a good job on my pedicure, which was the basic one for $35. I had one add-on for callus removal, which was an additional seven dollars. Usually the nail salons I go will do that included, but I understand this is not where I usually go. It's a modern clean nail salon and the staff was very friendly and Julie did a good job on my feet. They offered me a selection of different beverages and I chose some Prosecco with orange juice. Customer service was top notch. Kathy, my nail tech, was patient, talented and polite. I'd worn gel-x for the last 18 months or so, done at a different salon, and decided to try polygel on my first visit to this salon at Kathy's suggestion. It's been about two weeks since I got my nails done, and they still look quite good. The salon says that most people go 3-4 weeks between fill-ins, and that appears to be true. read more

When I got my nails done originally I wasn't super thrilled with them (rough finish and damaged my nail beds) but wasn't sure if it was just an issue with the stylist or the whole establishment. Just had the nails removed and left with my nail beds extremely damaged and one of my nails torn. Had to go home and trim my nails and go at them with more acetone. Honestly annoyed that I had to pay for this result. Not the cleanest place either. The woman who removed my nails was definitely reusing gloves. Would not return. I needed an ASAP manicure before my trip and so glad I found MyAllure Nail Spa salon. They literary accommodated me within minutes for the same day appointment! First, the salon is new and beautiful. Very relaxing, clean and calming atmosphere. Shirani at the front desk welcomed me and guided me through an easy electronic checkout. I had Maya do my nails and you can tell she loves what she does. First, she told me about all the nail services they offer, including GelX, polygel, powder dip, designs, chrome and pretty much all other latest trends! Tons of colors to choose from, too. Maya recommended to even out my nails as few of them broke and were uneven length. I'm very particular with my nails and they came out great and what's more important all of them are EVEN! I also think that their prices are very reasonable and they are not trying to upsell you during your visit, which is very refreshing. I found this place on Facebook. They had announcement for a grand opening and was doing a 20 percent promotion. I love the vibe of the place. They had music playing. The decor was cute. When I entered the door, I was greeted right away. One of the ladies helped me sign in. They were a little busy, but I didn't have to wait but a couple of minutes. They had refreshments such as crackers, cheese, deli meat, fruit. The beverages was wine, mimosas, and water. The snacks and wine were good. I got a pedicure. The nail technician was good. I've been visiting this salon exclusively for over a year now and I've been progressively more disappointed. I usually opt for gel or gel-x manicures, and while I understand this is an inherently damaging manicure, especially with removal, my already brittle nails fall to pieces now with the inconsistent and sometimes painful removal process. Of the few times I've received a pedicure, the techs that have provided this service have exfoliated so hard I've bled, or cut cuticles back too far and once again, have bled. On top of this, I usually make appointments as I have a particularly tight schedule and never once have they been on time. Many times I have needed to outright walk out before a tech even sits with me because they have made me wait over 30 minutes beyond the time I scheduled the appointment for (even when I communicate my time limitation or offer alternative service type to reduce the service duration). Unfortunately, I will not be returning any longer even though the final product does last and looks nice (the reason this is 2 stars and not 1). I wanted to treat my fiancé to a pedicure so we tried MyAllure Spa since it is close to wear we live. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted at the door. It is very clean and bright in the front. We were directed to sign in on their tablet. Then we were seated. We were offered drinks, the nail color selection book. The gentleman at the front was very kind and attentive. The ambiance is very nice and relaxing. Our appointment was at 2:30 and it took about 10 minutes to be brought to the back to be seated. No worries though, I didn't mind not being immediately seated. Everyone was so kind and attentive, it was fine. We were escorted to the back where we got to sit in the massage chair. There seemed to be some confusion about what I was getting done which was in the original appointment I booked about 3-4 days prior. I also asked for Hannah but we weren't given Hannah. Which was a bit of bummer but not a huge deal, as long as who I had was good. Not to mention, it was our first time so I couldn't tell the different anyways. Our pedicurists were Thi and Kim. There were friendly and gentle. Although I did have to keep telling them which pedicure I wanted (Inner Harmony for my fiancé and the Sole Serenity for me), and eventually just showed them what my online appointment said, it was okay. I'm not entirely sure if that is what they were doing though because with my pedicure, I am supposed to be able to pick out my own scent from a list of scents and I didn't get to do that. Both my finance and I just got their Cucumber scent. But the pedicure was good and very relaxing. They were both very thorough and took their time. It didn't feel rushed. We were offered snacks and water during the pedicure a few times. It definitely felt very spa-like for sure. My fiancé was quite pleased with his feet by the end of the pedicure and quite frankly, so was I. I also liked my feet and was pretty satisfied. The added 10 minute foot massage was incredible as well. I definitely needed it and felt super pampered. My fiancé said "go ahead and book me for the future" lol So I guess we will be back lol. I had really high hopes for this place but I was disappointed. I paid over $186 plus tip of $15. I didn't have a budget but this was just expensive for pedicure and full set. My polygel manicure is thick it's not thin or feels like my real nail like she said it was going to feel like. The pedicure station was clean which was a plus but the French tip wasn't what I expected at all. So I asked the lady to just paint my toes all white instead and she cut me with the drill on my toe. Some of my nails are uneven...I just had a bad experience with everything. I wouldn't come back here. There was a guy that used to work there that did good work when I would get a dip manicure. But last time I went, after work, the week of Valentine's Day. No one was in the shop. It was completely empty (never a good sign, this should have been my clue to leave) and I let the girl doing my nails convince me into getting poly gel. What a mistake!!! I did not like how bulky my nails turned out, but I left her a tip anyway costing me about $72 for that visit for the manicure only. I went on a cruise that week and within a week the middle nail came off... two days after that, the other middle nail came off on my other hand and other nails started lifting not too long after. I was convinced that this manicure would last me a month -- way longer than the dip powder manicure I normally get. So, I was extremely disappointed!!! And before you make excuses I was not in the pool during the cruise and only got in the ocean at one port AFTER the first middle nail came off so it wasn't the water sports. I was told that they did free repairs within a week, but like I stated earlier, I was on a cruise and within the week that nail fell off. I am not sure where their other workers are, but I will not be returning to the shop for an overpriced poly gel manicure that will just have my nails coming off within that week. ALSO!! Forgot to mention the poly gel chemicals caused my fingers to burn under the ultra violet light and when I took my hands from under the light the tech said "that always happens, and to take them out and put them back in if it starts to burn" COMPLETELY UNSAFE. Whatever chemical that is should not be used on a customer who's reacting to it!!! But I guess she didn't want to start over with the dip. Smh. read more

This was my second time at MyAllure-- Tl;dr-- first service with Tony was alright, Color was great but shape was lacking. Second service with Klein, was 10 stars, she's a Rockstar at what she does, taking time to listen and be sure she can execute design on point. My first visit,, solid 4 stars-- I got a full gel set from Tony, I was assured he does stiletto shape well, over phone while scheduling. I showed Tony a picture of inspiration, and he executed them so well without having that same polish used from reference. Overall, good service but shaping could've been alot better. On to my second service from today in preparation for my wedding this week-- I went in for a gel pedicure, and a gel fill in. My pedicure with Thi was great, she went above and beyond when it came to executing the idea i envisioned. Where it gets astoundingly better is my acrylic gel fill in with Klein-- this is my FAVORITE service I have ever received on a set of nails. Her prep, to her shaping and cleaning in between steps really shows she knows what to do for an even better end result! When it comes to shaping, she was ON POINT! (pun intended). This set is by far my best shaped set of stiletto nails I've received! I couldn't be happier with the execution of style. Klein knows how to convey and communicate steps clearly, and get on the same page with you, without issue. I will definitely be returning to Klein for my next fill! read more

There was no cuticle removal or moisturizing etc. so I am not sure why I was charged for a full manicure and no polish was applied either due to a lack of time. This review star rating, however is due to the check out lady not "understanding" my niece was 8 - because the manicurist said she thinks my niece is 10. I related her age 3 times and the age was only accepted when I called my niece and asked her for her age in front of them. Not expecting the Spanish Inquisition about age at a nail salon. I've gone to MyAllure Nail Spa since November 2024 when I decided to try polygel nails after having done dipping powder for 2 years. I was apprehensive about the change, but the owner explained the benefits and assured me that the process was healthier and that I'd like the results. She was right! No more acetone soaking! The salon is clean and convenient with standard amenities and the young man at the desk on Saturdays is cordial and efficient. The pedicure area is zen and Kathy's service is excellent. She's meticulous! Mya...! The owner is dynamic and artistic with a business background. She listens carefully to my requests and preferences and delivers with a smile before gently pushing me out of my comfort zone. I'm classic (some would say boring) with a twist in that I like intense colors as well as sheer milky shades. Mya introduced me to the cat eye. Very clean, I loved all of the decorations it gave it a luxurious touch. I was serviced by Hai and Hannah and they were both amazing! I had an unfortunate experience at a different salon that left me with thick, uneven, and overall sloppy nails. I went to Dang at MyAllure to have them reworked. He immediately recognized the poor workmanship, and with infinite patience and careful handling, removed the nails without inflicting any pain. He gave me the best nail job I have ever had - natural look, great length, and modern shape that was even on ALL fingers. I came here after making a call and asking for a structured gel manicure with tips. They said I can come in now, and I showed up within 15 minutes. For some reason now gel could not be done and I was flexible and said I can do acrylic, I just showed them the color and shape I want. I started with one lady who was doing a good job. Unfortunately, she was overbooked and half way through my service I was switched to another tech. The next tech was playing games with my nails. I stopped him to ask him to file a nail down because it was a different size. I asked him why he wasn't use a base with my gel polish, but proceeded to put on two coats of top coat making my nails lumpy. The color never dried properly on some nails due to no base and the polish is ripped. I never have had rippled gel polish in my life. The crazy part is I paid $90 and left to get a cash tip before I stopped to really look at my nails and got super upset I had just paid. I went inside and told them next time just say you can't accommodate somebody. Not only did I get forced into getting a service I did not originally come for; but this is the worst acrylic e filing and gel painting job I have ever had. Receptionist at the front is not friendly, needs customer service training and has an attitude. I waited 30 minutes AFTER getting my nails done, for my pedicure. An hour and a half since I got there I had to wait. The guy who did my nails was nice but I wish he told me ahead of time that someone else would be doing my pedicure. Most places do the pedicure and let the existing gel soak off while getting your toes done. That would be more efficient. The lady apologized and said they lost three of their staff. I can see why. The place is ran so poorly. Why take customers if you're too busy? When I brought it up to the rude receptionist, she put her finger up and said hold on, I'll be right with you with an attitude. But when I tell you they treated me with the best princess treatment a girl could ask for. They were very accommodating, helped me pick my color, took their time even though I was the last person there. Very kind and great conversation. The salon is beautiful inside and out.
