Actually enjoyed going there. Professional staff was excellent and the eyeglass department was friendly and top shelf. The selections were many and the advice I received was helpful since I never seem to know what looks best on me; well, my wife approved of the selection, so enough said. What I really appreciated was the advice I received concerning my insurance coverage and the timing of my exam and purchase to insure I was fully covered. read more

I have never witnessed such a unpleasant, unprofessional optical Department and optometrist in all of my life and I've been wearing glasses since the age of three. The manager is not accountable about her unprofessional staff. The employees act like they are at a hang out in college and the front desk staff are just clueless and rude. I give this two stars because the doctors are great. They are efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The problem is when you get transferred to the optical department. Here is a rundown of the issues I have had: Incorrect information about what my insurance covers. I was told I get glasses OR contacts when I was pretty sure I got both. The tech insisted it was either/or so I left with only contacts. My husband confirmed our benefits when I got home and I had to go BACK to order glasses. I have waited weeks for contacts that were never ordered and no matter if I pay extra to have the items delivered to my home, they always go to the office and have to be picked up. When you call, they rarely answer and they don't return voicemails. So if you can deal with the inconvenience of optical. Go for it read more

My experience felt seamless from check-in thru checkout. Jessica made sure I understood the process of pre-testing. She answered my questions with top-tier professionalism and ensured I was prepared for my exam with the Doctor. At the conclusion of my pre-test, she even made it a point to let me know if I needed anything before my exam to let her know and even told me her name again to make sure I had a point of contact. Myeyedr has a diamond. While I was waiting, which was very brief, the eye wear consultants were very helpful and assisted with my eyeglasses selections and after my eye exam with Dr. Daniel, my checkout process was so easy and I felt very confident about my purchase. The General Manager, Andrew, even came over to thank me for coming into the office that day! That's customer service!! Overall I have to highly recommend this office. I've seen some reviews that gave me pause, but after my appointment, I wanted to give my own review in hopes it might help someone make a great choice in provider, like I did!! This office used to be the best vision in the area for all of my family, but in the past 4-5 years, they have went downhill. Have had 2 interactions with them and I can say that we will NOT ever return to any of their offices. Customer Service is non existence. They love taking your money/Insurance money however there is never any residual service when needed. After seeing all of the other reviews, we are obviously not the only ones who feel this way. I will not be going back to My Eye Doctor again. The location is downtown so you do have to pay the meters. I had arrived early for my appointment and the doctor had not returned from the lunch break. When I finally got called back, the technician Pam conducted my questions and medical info. I noticed that I needed to put money in the meter. So I ask for a few minutes to put some change in the meter. She immediately says, we need to finish up in here. I said I cannot afford to get a ticket and my vehicle was right across the street. I went over put money in the meter. Pam told me before I went out to the meter that if I did go, she would take someone else in my place. When I got back a few minutes later, she was in the room with another patient. I really could not believe it. They have a meter not a private lot. And I put an hour and 15 minutes in the first go round. Anyway, I did not like how I was treated by Pam and I will not be returning anymore for any future visits. read more

Wow I read the reviews before the one I'm about to give and I'm not going to be making my eye appointment there tomorrow. In October of 2020 I went in and I had some new glasses made. I have thyroid eye disease which gives me double vision and the glasses were made with some special prisms that were like a sticker put on them so that the double vision wouldn't be there. I was very happy to get new glasses. I'm a grateful person I could see so much better with these new prism glasses. Better than from America's Best with a prescription that I had been wearing for 4 years prior to this I showered in every single day so I could read my shampoo or conditioner a never had a single problem with anything happening to those lenses. Now when we move forward on to October 2020 and I had to get the glasses with the prisms. I was giving no special instructions on how to care for these lenses these glasses and lenses cost me almost $400. So as I had with my glasses in the past I use the wipes that I bought from them to clean them and I showered in them as I did my other ones because I wasn't told any different. Within about 4 months I noticed there were some splotches on the lenses and I thought well what is that from huh. Time goes by fast forward a year and those splotches completely covered the lenses making them blurry and I don't have to worry about having double vision cuz I can no longer see through those lenses. It took me that long to put together the idea that showering in them and using the wipes I bought from them rendering these $400 glasses unusable. If they would have educated me on how to take care of my lenses my special lenses this wouldn't have happened but I came home and treated them like my old glasses and lenses. That being said and the reviews that I have read up to now I was going to make that appointment in the morning and I was going to tell Walmart all about what happened to the last glasses. I'm not making that appointment at Walmart I'm going to find another place to go and get my glasses it won't be Walmart ever again. They should have educated me on my special lenses that I paid so much money for. I'm a single woman and I work hard for the money that I do get and it took me a long time to have to save that money up to get these glasses. They should not have sold me the wipes w/alcohol in them or cleaner and they should have told me don't them wet and keep them wet. They never did so I hope somebody else reads this and they don't go to Walmart to get their glasses Because that knocked me out of $400 I couldn't afford to buy another pair when they were renderi. usable and so I had to go back to my 8-year-old prescription that I've been hanging on to for the last 3 years. My daughter is going to pay for my new eyeglasses but I won't be getting them at Walmart ever again. read more

It has been nearly 5 months now. WHERE ARE MY CONTACTS that were not sent to me?! The Atlanta office confirmed when I was in your office they were sent and spoke with you staff. You said you'd mail them three months ago, still no contacts. I got a voicemail initially from someone also from your office who said my contacts had arrived. I went in two days later and was told you didn't call people?! I literally played the voicemail. I read previous reviews but I have been going to MyEyeDr for over a year now and every time I have always had very professional experiences. Absolutely the worst eye care center I've ever Came to. Last year they didn't get my glasses to me for 6 months!!! This year I went the lady made me double mask and I explained to her I had severe asthma and could barely ware one mask. she then says to me that it was either ware both or leave.
