Made appointment in September. First available was December 30th. Got a confirmation for appointment on December 29. They cancelled my appointment late December 29th. They called my wife saying i was not answering my phone. No calls came to my phone, I checked the call history. Now the first available appointment is March. So much for using my insurance benefits before the end of the year. Got to love our new health care system. So much for taking care of the working class. Three months out for an appointment? Really? Maybe it's time to look for a new place to go. Six months from originally booking the appointment to them rescheduling a new one. Wow. Not a happy customer. read more

I scheduled my appointment and confirmed when requested but they gave our appointments away and wanted me to reschedule I drove an hour for these appointments..had request the time off work one month in advance..for a computer glitch or something..no I will not reschedule don't rely on the system it screws over your patients try calling to confirm like a professional Dr office should. read more

I just moved to the area and was looking for a new eye doctor. I saw this place and noticed it had pretty good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I ended up having to book my appointment like 3-4weeks out because they were booked. When I went in for my appointment the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. I didn't have to wait too long to be seen by the doctor. The doctor was very nice and informative. I wear one a day contacts and the brand I was using before my appointment were drying out my eyes by the end of the day. The Dr. recommended a new brand and my eyes have never felt better! The girls in the office were also very helpful when it came to finding the perfect pair of glasses. I would definitely recommend this office! read more

My name is Dolphus West. Your patient was Michelle West, my wife. However I was the paying party. It is unfortunate that your technician named Jasmine and our favorite eye doctor, Dr Ajmani have to be connected with this negative experience. First, we arrived at 9:00 a.m. sharp on May 15th. We didn't leave until 12:15 p.m. This was ridiculous. Everything was fine until we got Left Dr. Ajmani's office and get contacts and eyeglasses for my wife. The lady that was to arrange a quote for contacts and eyeglasses, was busy with a customer that didn't have an appointment and came after us, for at least an hour before she addressed us. Then we were told that we had to wait for another young lady that had came in after us that was there to get a quote on contacts and eyeglasses. I know this benefited her, J. ALEXANDER and the business, MyEyeDoctor. However, it was very inconvenient for us. In the very next business suite, my wife had an app't. I suggested that we go there to get that done in the meantime. I was told she couldn't let me leave until I paid. Then I was told that the aforementioned Jay Alexander, who was busy at the time with another customer, was the only one that could take my money. So we were was forced to set and continue to wait for her while finished the 2nd of two customers that arrived after us. This is ridiculous. I even asked another associate, "So I'm here as an hostage." Was told, "No." but yet still I had to wait for her. This threw, mine and my wife's day completely off. Keep, she had to sit uncomfortably in a wheel chair during all this. She still had the her next app't. The almost 3 hours that it took with them, we could have got both appts done. I type this I'm sitting my car waiting for my wife to complete her 2nd appointment Your technician Jasmine was absolutely awesome. She does not deserve to be associated with this review. I even witnessed her doing multiple jobs because of the incompetence/laziness of another employee who couldn't make sense of simply moving two pieces of furniture to make room for my wife's wheelchair. It only took common sense. Jasmine handled it wonderfully with smoothly, with ease and patience. Maximum credit to Jasmine. The unfortunate thing is our favorite eye doctor, Dr Ajmani, will likely lose a customer. I am not sure I will return again. Secondly, a fitting fee is b*******. I am 56 years old and have been wearing glasses since I was 15 years old. I've never paid a fitting fee. Not, until I sit in that chair across from J. ALEXANDER. I even asked if she do something about the fee. She took $5 off. As insulting as that is. Personally, I'm insulted because I know it was b*******. However, I chose not to make a scene. Now thirdly, not only did J. ALEXANDER b******* us about the fitting fee, we were told that it was part of the exam. Which is an absolute lie. Also, she clearly showed frustration and disdained with me after I decided to give my input on what package she was explaining to my wife. Remember I'm the paying party so I had plenty to say about what she purchased. It was simply wanted to make sure she got what she needed and not wasting money on what she doesn't. Obviously this lady makes money on the products that she sells and is likely paid on commission. So, of course the holding me hostage with the whole, "waiting to pay her" was to make sure she got to make her presentation. I decided to ask her what she upset about something, was there something wrong. She then pulled back and and put on a happy face. I even offered to leave my DL and credit card behind to make sure I come back. That was a no go as well. BEWARE. ESPECIALLY OF J. ALEXANDER!! read more

Dr. Furman was great. The sales people were kind & courteous BUT, the lady that helped me added some things onto my daughters glasses without asking my permission (I was with my other daughter during her exam at the time). I had to ask her to take the extra stuff off and she added the warranties ($25 each) without asking either. So, my $90 visit ended up costing me $126. I'm fully aware of what my insurance covers & doesn't cover. Be careful as the sales staff will upcharge you without your knowledge. read more

We have used this location for years, my kids grew up with Dr. Furman, she is terrific and frankly, she is the reason we have been loyal to this location. Being new to the area I had to find a new eye doctor and found MyEyeDr right down the road. They are an in network provider with my insurance, they got me in quickly, and Dr. Furman worked with my needs for comfortable contacts. Anthony was extremely helpful when it came time to find a pair of glasses that fit my needs and budget. The entire staff was courteous to all that entered and left the office. read more

My Wife had a 4:15 pm eye appointment to see Dr Furman on 02/07/19. I first did a courtesy call to tell them my Wife was going to be a few minuets late due to traffic. The receptionist said since she was the last patient she would need to reschedule. I called back my Wife and she said to call them back and tell them I'd be there on time. Called back the second time and told the receptionist that my Wife will be there on time.The receptionist kept explaining to me that if she's late she would have to reschedule and I was a bit annoyed and said she will be there,I heard you the first 10x already. My Wife pulls into the parking lot at 415pm and when she entered the building the receptionist said she needed to reschedule,the time was 416 pm! My Wife pleaded with the manager and told him she was out of contacts and had an eye infection last week. He sided with the receptionist and told her to have a nice day that she would have to reschedule.We absolutely love Dr Furman and have my whole Family seeing her for the past 13 years. The staff is heartless and showed no mercy over my Wife's plea to see Dr Furman over 1 lousey minute. We are forced to find another Eye Dr and NOT anyone from My Eye Dr Group. They took over National Optometry and their prices skyrocketed since. Now this rude,heartless behavior by the staff leaves us no choice it to leave. I hope Dr Furman leaves this group as well as she is too good for this level of professionalism. read more
