Exam Dec 26, today March 12. Still no glasses. Gave me someone else's glasses first time, second time Rx not right - moved bifocal line, third time, Rx still not right and they don't listen to my complaint. Made appt for re-exam, they cancelled same day, told me to bring old Rx. They were going to make new glasses using old Rx without new exam. I asked for refund and reported problem to company. Never could get answer why they would not re-examine to correct issue. read more

When we were here, they looked up our insurance, and what it would and would not cover. What the insurance would not cover we put on our credit cards, and we walked out " paid in full" Lo and behold there arrives in the mail a bill for 150 each. I drove down hoping it was a mistake out of corporate that would be quickly straightened out. Nope. Dude me the insurance did not cover what they thought, so we owe this. Outrageous. Our insurance coverage has not changed in scope, and if it did, it would have been on July first. Failure to accurately look this information up and transmit it in late August is either incompetence or delibarete deceipt. Had we known this we would have made alternate decisions concerning dialation, polarization, or polycarb, since there was less money left in the kitty to spend. So the dude at Myeye tried to lay it off on the insurance company, but their bungling or trickery is on Myeye, and noone else. I highly doubt that the insurance company agreed to pay x amount, then suddenly changed their mind. I will find somewhere else to get a clearly priced exam, and just the glasses from Z**** online, where there is no switcheroo shenanigans. read more

I had an appointment at 10:20am, hit some construction traffic which caused a delay in my arrival. I walked in and apologized for my delay. They looked up my name and said I would need to reschedule. I was shocked to say the least. Asked why, they have a 10-minute late policy. I looked at my watch - it was 10:31am!! To add to insult there was no one else in the waiting area. Yesterday I stepped on my glasses and removed the lenses from the frames and tore up the frames a bit today I went just seeking two screws to put them back together Cassidy at the counter was so wonderful she's God's gift to the customers there and the optician fix them for free then they refused to take any payment ... I have been back 3 times to get my glasses, the lenses did arrive without the frames this time. it has been several weeks, they got the $900.00, I didn't get my glasses. no one cares you just get a shoulder shrug over priced and clients are under served... worst service I've ever experienced when getting my glasses. read more

Beware of prices. I will never go back. They juggled and inflated prices to offset my $250 Insurance allowance. I questioned this and manager told me "Our prices are higher than anyone else". I have been a customer for about 4 years at MyEyeDr Leesburg, FL and have generally been pleased with the service personnel and particularly the end product...my glasses. However, something has drastically changed in the past year. I made an appointment the day I got new glasses February 6, 2024, for one year away--February 6, 2025. I called a few days ago to confirm my appointment and they confirmed it. After driving 35 minutes in heavy morning traffic, I finally arrived there early for my appointment, February 6, 2025. There was no person at the reception desk. I waited a few minutes, and a person showed up with a broom and dustpan. I closed my eyes dreading what I feared was about to happen. I gave her my phone number to look up my account. The (apparent) janitor fumbled with the computer for a few minutes while complaining and then told me that my appointment was canceled. I asked why and she said, "the doctor does not come here today." I told her goodbye and left. If they entered a cancellation in the computer, why didn't they tell me about it? MyEyeDr please note...you have plenty of competition willing to service me. read more

I will never go back there. They won't give you your prescriptions. You have to retrieve them yourself online The price you pay for eye exam and one set of glasses at $280. You would think this is all the cost should be and more. Well I got a bill for $145 a month later for extra fees that normal places don't charge. Never again. Avoid unless you are wealthy and don't care. read more

Feeling extremely disappointed and will not go back to this location. I was not there for an exam. I had an Airbill from my company to order work googles. I already had my prescription. I only needed to pick out googles and place my order. I took off work early to try and beat rush hour traffic to arrive before they closed at 5:00. I arrived at 4:57pm, the doors were open. I stood there and at 5:00 a lady came out and said they were closed and the Manager wouldn't make an exception. I explained I drove an hour to make it there, and they didn't care and she walked me to the door and locked it. Either you close at 5:00 or several minutes prior. Just let your customers know your variable or fluctuating hours. I tried to call several times as I was driving there and no one answered the phone. When I arrived there were no customers. The Manager was outside smoking and talking on his phone. There was NO EXCUSE to refuse me as a paying customer. Do not use this location. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

Well I thought this is a great place. Friendly staff etc. Until I called back to say.. I don't think I passed the eye test! I felt my vivion was not corrected and asked to be re checked. Well for petes sake you would have thought I'd ask for the DR.'s first born!! So sorry DR. (Berry) ego was hurt!! So after phone tag for 3 days I got a pre opening (8:30 am) re test. He was so condescending. Stating he can't promise "super vision" and he can't "perform magic" I told him "I'm not a child (58) please don't speak to me that way. He then said I guess I'll just shut up. But he didn't. Telling me If I want I could get a second opinion, and other blabber Really? can? Thanks! WORSE EYE EXAM EVER!
