Extremely frustrating experience. I paid $250 dollars to replace my screen on my iphone 14 pro max to find out 1 hour later that the new screen actually broke my phone entirely and now I do not have a functional phone. My iphone screen shattered, they told me it would take 15 minutes to repair. When he returned the phone to me the screen did not even work long enough to pay him through zelle so he took the phone back and I waited another 15 minutes. 1 hour later after leaving, my screen completely shut off and will not turn back on. I hear the notifications on my phone but my screen is black and phone will not turn back on. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. read more

Update: Despite my urgent voicemail, and my review here, nobody called me back. I tried just showing up and indeed, she was in. She explained that her repair didn't cause my current problems (even though they began immediately that day when I went home) and showed me that the phone was coming apart, and we could possibly glue the phone to make it work better. She offered to replace the screen (at $50) but wouldn't guarantee it, saying it was non-refundable. She offered to sell me a used iphone 7 but the price was much higher than I see online so I said no. I decided to get a new used phone from ebay instead. Yolo, or whatever. == Previous == Hoping they'll get back to me soon. Darwin has been away a long time but a competent substitute replaced my battery. Unfortunately, since the phone was reassembled, the screen has been flashing on and off during phone calls, and sometimes it acts like phantom fingers are pressing all kinds of buttons. iPhone screen protecter cracked and crumbled within 5 days. Did not drop or bang the phone. The shard was dangerously sharp. I requested a refund. The owner refused the refund but offered a replacement. Appears to blame the air bubble (caused by the installation by the owner), but the air bubble was at the opposite side of the screen and unrelated. Since the product was dangerously inferior, I asked for a similar project he carried. The owner implied that the other product is even worse. I am afraid to use either of the screen protectors this store carries. I am giving two stars for his prompt messaging and replies. Also he was pleasant in person. As for the product, unfortunately it deserves one or zero stars. To be fair, I am posting the yelp conversation. I have to write a review after the terrible experience I had here. After paying $250 for a new screen when mine cracked while hiking, within 12 hours the screen started acting up and a big black box appeared in the top left. Assuming that it was just an error from the repair, I brought it back and was told that they would not fix the phone and that I would have to pay another $250. I have not had issues with my phone in 6 years and this was an extremely unfortunate event. But the fact that they tried to blame the coincidental second screen break on me is completely ridiculous. The screen was not cracked and the repair person tried to blame it on pressure that I put on the phone while I was texting... There are plenty of other stores around and I would 100% recommend making the trip to one of those. Do not come here. read more

They closed 15 minutes early while they still had my phone leaving me overnight without a phone. If you say on your website and on Google Maps that you close at 6 you can just go home early. That's a terrible way to treat customers and the correct response it's to apologize and not charge me for the repair. Offering me 15% off does not make up for depriving me of my phone. read more

I cracked my I Phone 7 screen. Through google, I checked out local places. Two were equidistant from my home. I called IBreakFix first and was quoted $99. I saw the positive reviews for MyPhone Repair Guy and s/w Vivienne. She quoted $79 and said they could do it while I wait. I called today to make sure there would be no wait. Vivienne said to come right over. When I arrived she told me that they did not have the OEM screen in stock, but the aftermarket screen would be $69. She told me I would lose some brightness, but agreed to put it on so I could see what it looked like. I decided to go ahead with the replacement and was done in about 15 minutes. Darwin, the Owner, communicated with me within 5 minutes of reaching out to his store. This was at night, after store hours. My iPhone X fell from my motorcycle and was ran over by several vehicles. Impossible to unlock the phone. I watched every video on YouTube, consulted every technician. Darwin was quick to come up with solutions and bent over backwards to help me. My big issue is that my iCloud and iTunes backups had failed and in order to set up my new device, I needed to restore the data from my old phone back-up. But can't do that if the phone cannot be unlocked (Siri does not help). Darwin got it done for me as promised. I was able to recover my data and transfer it to the new phone. He said he needed 30min to fix it and that was probably all he needed as I spent about 45 min at Brennan's down the street. He tested the charging port in front me and explained why my port stopped working (not owner error just apple trying to make more $$) it was about $65 and worth it. I am happy I found this service store. I live close by and decided to stop by and see if they can fix my iPad before buying a new one. Darwin was able to fix my iPad mini and even keep all my information on it. Other places said they could fix it but I would lose the data. He also helped me with an issue with my iCloud, while even Apple Support couldn't do it! The prices are good and really cheaper than replacing the device. Wow...what a great find. I called Darwin at 6:00 pm, and he said to come right in. Since it was rush hour, it took me longer to drive 2 miles than it did for Darwin to fix my phone. No kidding...it's pretty cool, because he has several led screen/glass pre-assembled, so it took less than 15 minutes for him to fix my phone...good as new! Price was really reasonable, and he gave me a free screen protector. The valet parking dude at the restaurant next door was really cool. He said to park in the alley...no problem. I didn't have to, but I gave him a tip anyway. He helped me pull into traffic (Lincoln was busy.) While Darwin was working on my phone, we were chatting. Upon entrance, the shop looks very clean and modern. Despite its small size, there is a lot of space and it doesn't look cluttered. There are also a couple of cushioned chairs for clients to wait while their electronics are being repaired. There is a wall of various phone accessories (cases, chargers, etc.) if you are also in need one them. The owner, Darwin, is very knowledgeable and nice. He knows his work and will inform you on what he is doing to your device. This shop is new, but he is not a rookie. He fixed my iPhone 7 screen after I unfortunately cracked it. I was afraid I'd have to encounter the prices and waiting times when going to the Apple Store. But, after seeing the building, I decided to give this shop a try. Darwin fixed my phone in the same hour and for lower prices! Hopefully, I wouldn't have to break another one of my devices. But, its inevitable that we break our devices from time to time.
