He also helped us explore our options to save money, such as presenting ways to qualify for an interest rate cut and the ability to lock our interest rate (as well as good timing for the lock). Come time to shop for home insurance, we knew the monthly cost to shoot for to keep our monthly payment where we wanted it. Around our closing disclosures, he let us know what to expect, so there weren't scary, deal-breaking surprises numbers-wise, and he explained changes we spotted. At every turn, I felt like I knew what was going on and like I wasn't alone. His team kept us on track through all the major milestones and got us to our closing date on time. There was even a moment when the listing agent mistakenly requested a later closing date. Extending our interest rate lock would've incurred a daily fee, but that was our best financial option.
