Getting into a new home is pretty stressful in itself. We started off getting a pre-approved loan through another loan officer. After looking at over 40 homes, we finally found one that we fell in love with and put in an offer. When it came down to financing, something came up and were denied funding. We went through 2 other loan officers without any luck. Kelly Kline and his team were able to make a miracle happen. We closed and were able to move into our new home. A year later, the rates dropped significantly and we reached out to Kelly again to tinker with the idea of refinancing to get better rates. Throughout the process, we were in communications weekly about the process and there were some obstacles on my end due to financial responsibilities of being a co-signer of another loan for a family member. With the rates fluctuating, Kelly and his team vigorously and persistently worked on getting us the best financial solution for us. We recently closed and funded the refinance loan about 1.4% under the current rate. We couldn't be more excited to save a few hundred dollars a month. Kelly and his team are very responsive and helpful in every step of the way making sure that I was comfortable with the loan and every process. The best part of it was that they leverage technology to make the process easier. I was able to quickly review loan documents from my smartphone and digitally sign them through their secure web portal on a personalized portal. All documents are uploaded and shared through the secure portal and made the process so much easier than going into an office and share reams of signed paper. Notary is last bit where physical paperwork is reviewed and signed. Overall the process was easy, they worked around my schedule and made the experience that much more pleasant. This was not the first time we were shopping for a mortgage, so we were going thru interviewing 4 mortgage brokers, one commercial bank and one Credit Union and on recommendation of my real estate broker we picked up OneTrust Home Loans - Kelly Kline and his team. We started up with both me and my wife Fico score of 831 for both of us, the issue was getting a mortgage and HELOC in a specific amounts from the contract. I wish from the beginning the loan officer would tell us that for this amounts we will not be qualified, maybe we would be out of the escrow at this point, so when we were told that we need 70K more for a down payment we were really frustrated and the only option was to cash in our IRA with a hope that then in 60 days we will be able to pay it back from proceeds of sale of our current home. Our closing of escrow was postponed almost for 2 weeks - the loan processers were finding things which should be done long time ago. Finally it was arranged for a meeting with a notary to sign all the papers, I really wanted to do it at the office with Kelly Kline subbing for my loan officer being present, no such luck - Kelly Kline was busy with a baseball practice (this was more important then my business which was not for free), so the meeting with the notary was at my house and with notary refusing to answer any questions related to mortgage or HELOC papers, we were able to call Kelly Kline - he provided us with the his cell phone, which he responded long time after the notary left. I would not recommend Kelly and his team to my friends, family or clients. read more
