Prior to working with Myriad, we had only been through the buying process once, and never the selling. The thought of selling was stressful and quite honestly terrifying (because of what we would need to do). I'd met with Danny a couple times before deciding to sell and when I would bring up how nerve wrecking the idea was, he would provide me a thorough explanation of the process (upon my request). One phrase, "Myriad specializes in getting you from your current home into your new home." Is one you can take to the bank. The whole team was on the same page, (that is really rare to see) and completely able to assist with any and all tasks I threw/requested. Buying experience: Having a whole team, literally at your disposal is nice, because if one person is unable to show you a home, another team member is there to assist you (especially with how quickly homes were going when we were buying. You literally could not waste any time). Madeline took us to most of the showings; she was so kind and patient with us. I get very particular and even nit picky about things, but talking to them about the house, what we loved and what we didn't was quickly reassured by a, "this is a big decision, you need to/should be picky." Which made us not feel bad or rushed in our decision for a home. I wanted to be super involved, and would ask strategy for putting in offers, and they were really good about providing their expertise, guidance, but ultimately letting us make the call for it. The process after that was great, they made recommendations for inspections that I might have passed over, but it really helped in the long run. They helped us get in the best spot possible as buyers and saved us money in the long run! The hardest part after that was waiting, Morgan helped us out so much organizing and ensuring we had our ducks in a row. Selling experience: Danny came over and helped with the details of listing the home, and Myriad brought in Christina Goldwater over to help us stage. She did a great job in providing us tips and pointing out other items for us to do to prepare for pictures. We went all out on this one. The idea of showing may be the worst thought to pass, but there's an app for that (literally). My wife and I are in our 50s, recently retired, and we have lived all around the world and all across the US. We have rented, purchased, and sold many homes over the years, and in Nov 2015, we decided that it was time for us to move on. Whomever gave some of them 5 stars must have either been an employee, family, friend, very lucky, or they just had smoked a lot of dog food, as some were mediocre at best. Yes, a couple realtors did show up prepared, you could tell they did some homework, and some knew the business and area.
