As good as it gets! Katrina is a skilled and polished pro, with a great knack for detail. I went with Myriad in part because of their team approach. I felt I would fall in good hands with Danny if Katrina got tied up, but she took such good care of me that I never had to find out! Katrina knows how to read between the lines of listings, and doesn't hesitate to contact listing agents to get the smallest of clarifications. Going in, I felt pretty confident that I could spot most house defects myself, but Katrina consistently rooted up issues I completely whiffed on. She proved her worth on the very first home we saw, and earned my trust and confidence quickly. I was being a PITA on a few occasions after placing an offer, but Katrina consistently validated my concerns, and made sure we got to the bottom of every issue with the seller. She's not timid, and was even game to make calls on my behalf Thanksgiving eve while her family was in town. I ultimately found a spot that hit all the marks and, with the Myriad team guiding me, closed within 30 days. I don't like any surprises on major purchases, and Katrina always kept me apprised of the next several steps of the closing process. My family and I just bought our forever home and throughout this process I learned two indisputable truths: (1) Lenders suck and (2) you will absolutely not find a higher caliber realtor than Myriad's Katrina Quinn. Our journey started this past May looking for a home. We've had two previous experiences with realtors that we preferred not to relive this time around. So like all good truth-seeking consumers, I turned to Yelp. Myriad Real Estate Group turned up with stellar reviews - particularly mentioning Danny. I gave them a call and sure enough Danny answered the phone personally. I made it a point to request that he specifically would be our realtor. But wait?! Isn't this a review about Katrina and not Danny? Yes, yes it is. I had requested an initial home search that worked with my family's schedule, but unfortunately Danny was already booked and asked if we'd work with one of his colleagues - Katrina. We agreed, albeit with slight reservations in the back of our minds. Boy did we luck out. Katrina was personable, knowledgeable, and professional during our home searches. If this is where the story ended, she still would've received a 5/5 rating. If only.. When we found a home we loved a few weeks later, the contract went smoothly between buyer and seller. While being assured by our lender that everything was squared away, we started getting hints that our loan wasn't as far along as we had been led to believe. We missed our closing date with no indication on when our loan documents would be ready. This is where Katrina shined. We spoke on the phone close to a dozen times a day trying to figure out how to harass the lender into progressing our loan. She googled the top executives at the lender's company and e-mailed all of them about our situation. She probably left them a thousand voicemails, too. She was tireless in her pursuit. When my family had thought we lost our earnest money, she said "I've never lost any client's earnest money and I'm not about to start now." When we thought we had lost our dream home, she re-assured us that it was far from over. This is getting long. So let me finish by stating the obvious: If you are looking for a realtor, do yourself a favor and call Myriad. Ask for Danny. And if he's busy because he's got so much love here on Yelp, and he recommends you work with one of his partners, Katrina - sit back and chuckle to yourself. Because you know you're in good hands. I found Myriad Real Estate Group right here on Yelp after 3-years in our west valley home. My wife and I worked with Dan and Katrina primarily during our experience selling that home and purchasing another home in Scottsdale. Several other Myriadites were involved in the process in varying degrees handling different tasks. They do operate in a team approach as billed, which took some getting used to as all my previous real estate professional experiences were with one individual. It's not that I was apprehensive with the approach but I will admit the thought crept into my mind hoping handoff from one person to another is going to be as smooth, accommodating and professional as the previous. I will say that every person down the line whether in person, by telephone or just an email exchange was great. We would like to make special mention of our dealings with Katrina on the buy side. She was with whom we really spent the most time and my wife I felt she understood our goals. She really did her homework based on input provided and truly was there every step of the way. And she is simply put the nicest person. On the sell side our west valley home sold in 1-day on the market at a bit above our asking price. You can't go wrong with those kind of results. Katrina's recommended sewer line camera inspection proved invaluable as a major problem was found. Thankfully the problem was rectified in negotiation and we got the house with a new sewer line at no cost to us. If we hadn't taken Katrina's advice we would be looking at a surprise major plumbing bill out of pocket. 2.) Myriad posts their trusted vendors at their website and by coincidence they list one that I had used previously with glowing results. And I hired this particular plumbing company again (named Belsito) to do some minor work at the new house in preparation for a water softener/reverse osmosis system. 3.) We are talking with yet another Myriad recommended referral on a possible room addition. I thoroughly researched them before considering and thus far very-very early on they have been a good source. So a major find to a pleasant minor coincidence to new possibilities all speak to the quality of their referral partners. All-in-all we had a great experience related to timing, experience, personal connections and gained understanding there are new and different ways to arrive at a successful conclusion. Myriad not only sold for us, they sold us on their deft team approach. My son is relocating to the Tempe area for his job. We had planned a trip to look at housing alternatives. I had thought there would be some support from his employer's relocation team but that didn't materialize. I was searching the web (and yelp) Friday afternoon (the day before we were to fly to AZ - so I was a little frantic). I came across the reviews for Myriad, went to their website and sent a message. Within minutes I got a call from Renae Klein and I couldn't be happier with how things progressed from there. She got some preliminary info about what we thought we wanted to see and within an hour had set up a portal for my son to be able to review properties that met his criteria. She was in touch with me on Friday night to respond personally to a few questions we had emailed her. Shortly after we arrived on Saturday she met with us and was able to show us a few properties. Knowing we were only there for a few days she was able to arrange showings at several other properties on Sunday. She was very professional and really helped my son narrow down his choices. I was a little concerned, initially, because this was his first home purchase and he was looking at condos and townhouses and trying to keep it affordable. My son gave her a range for price and we saw properties at both the high and low end (ultimately purchasing one at the lower end). Rene knew wasn't going to make a lot of money on this transaction but given the service we received you would have thought we were looking at homes in the $250k+ price range. First of all, a little bit about myself. This may be important if you find yourself in a similar predicament. I had been saving up to make a decent sized down payment on a house for a while. I considered myself to be about a year away from being comfortably where I wanted to be. However, my landlord decided he wanted to raise his rent by 15% when my lease expired, and I didn't find this out until the very last moment. This was at a time when year-over-year consumer price indices were quite stable, so I flat out refused to pay the increase. Faced with the prospect of going month-to-month on my lease, I decided I needed to jump into the game early. I did a lot of research on prospective rea estate agents. I had a couple of friends refer me to their agents, and I found a handful of companies on Yelp who seemed like they would be a good fit. I chose Myriad Real Estate due to the fact that they seemed to be very well regarded by first-time home buyers. I made an appointment to meet with Danny, and the fact that the Myriad office is right across the street from where I work was a huge bonus. Danny gathered all of my information and told me what I needed to do to get the ball rolling. Essentially, they just needed a pre-approval. I gave Danny a list of homes that I was interested in, and I started filling out loan applications. Once I had my pre-approval, I got to meet Katrina, and we were out looking at homes the very next day. I can't even begin to adequately describe how awesome Katrina was through this process. She patiently and perfectly explained every step of the process to me, and she didn't even seem to care that I would occasionally ask the same question twice. It seems like she truly loved what she does, and she must given the fact that it also didn't seem like she really had any time off. She was an excellent communicator, so I knew exactly what to expect every step of the way. I also have to throw another plug in from one of the other vendors I worked with in this process. I will not name this person because it isn't an official endorsement, but I have a feeling that Danny and Katrina will know who I am talking about. I had concerns because, even though I ended up with plenty of funds left over after the process was complete, I was afraid of any roadblocks due to the fact that my astronomical rent, being month-to-month, was costing me a significant amount of money each and every day. This other vendor said, and I quote, "I wouldn't worry about it because you are quite literally dealing with the best realtors in the Phoenix metropolitan area". That's a pretty nice plug coming from someone who probably works with quite a few realtors. Now I don't have a comparative analysis to rate Danny and Katrina's team against other realtors because this was my first experience using a realtor. However, I have done a lot of business with a lot of vendors over the years. I want to go so far as to say that Danny and Katrina rank at or near the top of the list in regards to any company I have ever done business with. We read all of the other great reviews on here, and contacted them as a first time home buyer. I briefly spoke with Dan over the phone and then afterwards I was assigned Renee as my agent. Renee and I spoke over the phone, went over what I was looking for in detail, where I informed her I was working on getting a pre-approval letter but don't have it yet, and we set up an appointment to look at some houses. An hour before my appointment, I got an email from Renee saying that without a pre-approval letter, it is a waste of time to go and see houses, and that I should contact her after I have the letter. Over the course of the next hour, I tried calling her numerous times to talk to her, but no answer. Finally, I called Dan and informed him about the situation, and 2 minutes after we hung up, I got a call from Renee saying the appointment is still on. All of this happened without any sincere apology from Renee or even a proper explanation for this utter disregard of my time. While I have no complaints against Dan as such, I was very wary of doing business with them after Renee's utter lack of professionalism. If she was not willing to show houses without a letter, she should have informed us upfront instead of wasting everyone's time. When things fell through the cracks even before meeting her, we just didn't feel comfortable going forward with their team. We would certainly not recommend them, especially Renee. read more

Before finding Danny and his team l, we read through all of the reviews of potential agents/groups in the greater Phoenix area and met a few other agents that we just didn't jive with. Myriad has not only stellar reviews, but also helped our close friends find their dream home so we contacted him. He was quick to respond and was able to show us a home the same afternoon. We were quite picky in our home choices and Danny helped us narrow down choices with his personalized daily home market updates.
