Rude staff and overpriced! I spent a large amount of $ here and realized after-the-fact that many items were extremely overpriced. Because they only allow exchanges, I went back to exchange one of the items. The person helping me (perhaps the owner?) seemed nice asked if there was a reason for my return -to which I replied that I found the item elsewhere for much less. As I said this, one of the 20something staff members rolled her eyes right in front of me!! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and outright RUDE! I said something to the staff member and I will never be going back. Their loss, because I am a great customer who spends a LOT of $$ on crystals. My only guess is that the staff member was related to the owners -I don't know any decent, well brought up human being who would treat a customer (let alone another human being) with such impunity. Clearly this girl needs to do some energy healing of her own. After this terrible experience I found the most amazing crystal shop in TO, Sage Spirits. Wow, what a contrast. The staff is actually kind and helpful and the place has amazing energy AND they have a much better selection and better prices. The state of brick & mortar retail today is abysmal. Got a back flow incense burner and it didn't seem to be working so I called and the clerk helped me figure it out. She was super helpful in the store and even after. So many fun items on my wishlist now. They have a wide variety of different categories and lots of selections in each category from crystals to incense, jewelry, rune sets for divination and some incredible hand made journals with metal clasps and blank paper. If a customer comes in with a "damaged item" (based on your associates view) they shouldn't hide to speak with you in the back and play Mr. Fix it and not tell the customer! I am allergic to almost all earrings- gold included. at the recommendation of Melanie, I tried a pair of lovely earrings that were not o ly hypoallergenic, but also came specially cured. I had a great experience here today! I came in with my best friend initially just to look around. I noticed the huge display of nose studs in the back and was very interested in the labret style nose studs. I bought a gorgeous AB stone one. I eyeballed it but it ended up fitting perfectly. It took a while to get in, but it's so worth it! I've had my nose pierced for almost four years and swore by nose screws. I think I have found my new favorite jewelry style! My best friend ended up buying a super cute pair of sterling silver unicorn ear studs. Melanie was super helpful! I really like stopping in here to see what kind of interesting and odd jewelry they have. My favorites are the dark themed stuff like animal skulls or things made of bone. The lady behind the counter is always nice to me and the prices on the jewelry I've looked at are all fair. They have some cheaper stuff but also some pricier pieces. Mystic Visions is an awesome store with a personality. It's hard to describe exactly what kind of store it is, as they have so many different products that range from artwork to metaphysical stuff. It is also one of a kind as this is their only location. They have really cool and high quality jewelry, and you can find some really unique artwork here as well. Thanks to their highly knowledgable staff, I was able to get rid of an unsightly bump that popped up next to my nose piercing using emu oil, which I had never heard of until coming here. I dropped by here for incense. To my knowledge there isn't anyplace in Camarillo where I can buy it. While not a huge selection of incense, they did have some different options. I especially liked their incense holders! The rest of the shop was cute. It had lots of unique gifts and jewelry. It's a small shop but it's not overly packed and everything is arranged neatly. Employees are always knowledgeable in recommendations and prices are fair or comparable to where you might find at other body jewelry places. I AM SOOOOO HAPPY I WAS RECOMMENDED TO THIS PLACE! Dave? Dan? I forget, but he recommended I use Emu Oil to put on the keloid on my nose and it's been less than a week and it's almost gone! The boneheads at the shop I got it pierced at kept telling me to up the salt and water baths on my nose, but that's just for infection not tissue/ blood vessel build up that was in the keloid. Now I don't have to wait for it to heal and re-pierce. So happy!! read more

THEIVES!!!! I ordered a ring last night because my size was not in the store. I was told it will take 3 weeks to come In but I had to pay up front which was fine. I paid $80 dollars, went home and thought about it, came back the next day. It was LESS THAN 24 HOURS and the kid says "we cannot refund your money, we can only do store credit or exchanges" I asked how that's possible all he had to do was CANCEL THE ORDER. It's not like I took the ring and wore it. He said it's their policy but of course they don't tell you BEFORE you buy it. Only after. He said he would try calling the owner, conveniently there was no answer. Now I'm stuck buying an 80 ring when I regretted the purchase. They will do whatever to get money and they must really need it if they refuse to give a customer a refund. I have NEVER heard of someone who only does store credit and exchanges. Also, the bar for my eyebrow piercing should be free but they wanted an additional $9.25 even though my tattoo shop gave me 3 for free, I bought 3 piercings from mystic vision last night they don't give any deals or discounts for more than like 50 cents. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE THEY WILL DO ANYTHING FOR YOUR MONEY read more
