If you are keeping up! I love supporting small businesses in the communities I visit.

This is a cute little nook near the Hilton hotel in Anchorage, it was inexpensive. Plates under $20 very friendly and fast service, as soon as you open the door they greet you. Ambiance is nice inside and comfortable with art and culture. I would say it could be perfect for a first date, a romantic evening or just a simple quick lunch break. I ordered the ground chicken egg rolls you get four. Unfortunately the sauce was better than the egg rolls. However, I ate all of them so either I was very hungry or they were not that bad. I have had better, if that helps.

Overall my $15 lunch special meal was good. It was just the right amount of food for 1 imo. I didn't really like the dipping sauce the fresh roll came with -too cloyingly sweet. I'd get the fried spring roll next time. Peanut salad dressing ok. The Panang curry had a nice flavor. It was all chicken no veggies. I'd like to come back and try some of their noodle dishes. They got me in and out for lunch in about 35 minutes so fast service!

Tom Khar chicken Soup - very good!

We ordered four items via Door Dash: 1. Garlic rice plate with extra beef - meat was tough and sauce was not very garlicky, 2. Tom Khar soup with chicken was excellent. 3. Rangoon was delicious. 4. Chicken curry stir fry was ordered mild but arrived so spicy that neither or us could eat it. Overall, we've had better Thai and probably wouldn't go back or order again.

Most amazing Thai food including Thai food in Thailand. Each and every item were sumptuous and cooked to perfection. Portions were generous. We had Red Curry Tofu, Fried Rolls (Spring Rolls), Jasmine Tea, Pad Thai, Tom Khar Soup. We were so impressed that we took photos of serving stars and the kitchen staff. Service was top notch. Very courteous, accommodating, prompt and paid full attention to every detail. Ambiance is good as well. We liked the vibe. We felt that this is the best Thai food we have ever had including in Thailand.

Tom Khar Chicken Soup and Green Curry Beef - both medium spice - VERY tasty!

Overall: 9/10 Food: 10/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 (the food is definitely the draw) Value: 7/10 This place isn't just good for Anchorage, it's up there with the best Thai restaurants across the nation. The food is amazing, fresh and the spicy was just right! Looking forward to going back!

Decent thai restaurant in downtown Anchorage. Lot of vegetarian options to chose from. We ordered garlic tofu vegetables - Dry vegetables in garlic sauce with white rice. Drunken noodles - This was good taste. Not too oily. Red curry - Very flavorful with good quantity. Service - Good Ambience- Decent + Point Lot of vegetation options

Great food and friendly service! Nestled in the heart of downtown Anchorage and very walkable from local hotels. The fried egg rolls and fresh rolls were on point!

Better than ncl cruise ship food. Curry flavor was great, chicken a bit dry. Very busy at 2 pm

I love this sweet and sour chicken dish. Fresh veggies, pineapple and tomatoes with perfect rice!

This place was a welcome surprise. I love Thai but wasn't expecting this deliciousness. The service was great. And the restaurant was nice and room. You have to try this place!

F O O D Oh my goodness the food was absolutely delicious! My sister and I went with some Thai staples and got the Drunken Noodles and Pad Thai. We've had our share of Thai food and it was sooo good! The portions were large with good portions of protein and vegetables, the noodles were cooked al dente and both dishes were sauced well. We've been to restaurants where there just wasn't enough sauce and this wasn't the case. We ordered our spice level 1 and 2 and it had just enough bite to still be enjoyable. It's definitely a must if you're in the area! Drunken Noodles (pork) // $14.95 Pad Thai (beef) // $14.95 S E R V I C E We came on a Wednesday during lunch and while it wasn't a packed house they had a steady flow of dine-in customers and to-go orders. I'm not sure if this is normal for Anchorage since we were visiting but there was only 2-3 people working in what seemed like a family-owned restaurant. While it was a little slow to take our order in the beginning, the older women working were very sweet and attentive once they took our orders. L O C A T I O N It's located in Downtown Anchorage next to the bike place we rented from. It's also walking distance of a bunch of shops as well.

But tonight, after going to a different Thai food restaurant, who are now takeout only, which is a no-go, I needed an alternate, so I randomly selected from Yelp, a good Thai food recommendation, and when this appeared, I realised it was the place where I'd gotten the good Massaman from. However, their description states they are noted for their standout Panang. The interior is ok, not fine dining, standard tables and chairs, not too cluttered with artwork, and music was playing. As I also love Panang, I chose to have that with chicken, and husband ordered something called Khao Mu Dang. We also ordered a Thai Tea. The server was energetic, and smiled a lot. We didn't have to wait long, I was served a hefty portion of rice, and a big bowl of curry sauce. Mine came out first, and I started without him. I must say that I do agree, this is standout Panang, and it's the best I've had in Anchorage. It's just the right amount of kick. Just enough to get my nose running after a few mouthfuls. The sauce is amazing, and the chicken is plentiful, and very tender, and I do have leftover sauce and rice in the fridge for later. If it were served on its own as a soup, without rice, I'd call it "Chicken Soup for the Soul" because it surely did my soul good, even eating it alone without rice. Superb, perfectly spiced, perfectly seasoned, deliciously umami. I think I could eat this several times a week, and not feel cheated. His dish had some pretty spectacularly flavoured pork, it was delicious, and the sauce, yet again, so good, but his was what they call a "dry dish" whereas mine was "soupy" or maybe they call it wet. I don't know, all I know is, that the amount of times I was saying "mmmm" was kind of embarrassing. So, that was an absolutely delightful dinner, and I'm grateful because we'd not been anywhere in recent weeks that thrilled me like this. Will definitely be back for more. The Thai Tea was also very good.

Food doesn't come out as quick as other pho places but definitely worth the wait. Will visit again during my next trip! Staff is very friendly and a lot of space inside as well. FOOD: Lao Pork Sausage (8/10) - Can't find this in many places. Amazing!!! Super juicy, slightly salty sausage that pairs perfectly with the sauce and rice. Would get again! Broth and noodles are perfect Pho Tendon (7/10) - Also can't get this in many other places, but comes with so much tendon if you like it! Lao Fresh Rolls (6/10) - Solid spring rolls but the chicken is a little bit dry. I would get it again with only the shrimp. Shrimp Eggroll (5/10) - A fried shrimp in wonton wrapper, would skip this.

This one also had imitation krab, which is fine but not my favorite. The side dish of garnishes was kind of weak, just bean sprouts, lime and jalepenos. I wish it had cilantro. They must have been out of basil that day too, because we didn't get any with the pho. I want to find a seafood pho with fish cake or house made seafood balls. I think I maybe set my expectations a bit high since moving from Hawaii, every pho place there is a peak experience. My husband tried the beef brisket massaman curry which he thought was very watery and very light in the spice department, which he didn't like much. However our child loved her small kid size chicken pho and we all loved the mango smoothie. It's one of the most flavorful smoothies with perfectly thick blended consistency that you can still suck up the straw. Ambiance is kind of old, dank, dark, and dated but also holds some oddly charming quality nonetheless. Service was straight-forward. Special s/o to the man who welcomed us in, immediately fetched a high chair for our child, and then also helped me with my giant diaper bag which he didn't have to do but was very appreciated. I bet he's a dad.
