What I don't get is the fact that I can order something a bit more pricey with the card. When I'm made aware of this I order accordingly; that means a lower priced item. That in turn translates into less profit for the establishment. Card users have a tendency to order more items or more expensive items. That gets lost when it becomes card vs cash.
