Veggie egg roll with Sriracha mayo
Karen R.

I was craving egg rolls, and the last few times I got them from my local place. They were greasy but not crispy. I know people who've tried MOGU and liked it, so I decided to give them a try instead, and I'm very happy I did. The egg roll was extremely crispy not greasy and the inside was nice and juicy. I opted for the veggie eggroll and the Sriracha mayo on the side. It was spicy, mildly hot and a nice match to the egg roll. I will definitely try them again.

Wanted to try this place out heard a lot of good things. We did a takeout dinner and didn't disappoint. Ordered the Mei fun with shrimp, build your own roast pork with garlic sauce, spare ribs, hot and sour soup. The Mei fun was different but good not authentic flavor but less greasy and oily. Overall a good taste. The soup was perfect not too spicy and lots of stuff in soup. The build your own was good also. Food is different from authentic Chinese take out but tasty in its own way. Def worth checking out.

Roast Pork Bang Bang Rice
Meri L.

My boyfriend and I have been to the Farmingdale location a few times and decided to check out this location for dinner tonight. It was so delicious, but we already knew it would be. I had my usual shrimp with broccoli. Yummy! My boyfriend ordered two things he's never had before; bang bang rice with pork and hi mein noodles with steak. He enjoyed both and he LOVED the boss sauce. He said the steak in the hi mein noodles was so soft. He enjoyed both things that he ordered. We also ordered popcorn wontons. My absolute favorite appetizer here. Pillowy goodness of pork in a little bite of yummyness. Mike at the counter took our order. He was so kind and attentive. Checked on us a few times and didn't charge us when we wanted more boss sauce. We can't eat "regular" Chinese food anymore. Once you go Mogu, you don't go back.

Bang Bang Rice, Emperor Tso's Chicken, Scallion Pancakes w/ Maple Smoked Roast Pork, and Hot & Sour Soup
Jenny L.

Surprisingly, my family enjoyed this place given we used to run Chinese restaurants. It's like a fast casual modern Americanized Chinese equivalent of Chick Fil-A where they use fresh ingredients and air baking without frying with a ton of greasy oil. The flavors are consistent and matches what I'd expect for their Phoenix or Sweetfire wings and Emperor Tso's chicken, which is crispy and yet sweet and spicy with a tang. The scallion pancakes are crispier, but don't have the elasticity of the dough. Hot and sour soup isn't going to be authentic like a Sichuan or Hunan restaurant where you can smell the sourness, but at least they remembered the wood ear mushrooms. The only thing their target clientele might expect is, where is the mogu gai pan, which is chicken and mushrooms, give their restaurant's name is mushrooms and "to eat" in Korean. With a simple menu for fast foodies who want something healthy, this might satisfy you. What impressed me even more is the quality, friendliness, and helpfulness of their service and staff. They're informative, proactive, and thoughtful unlike most Chinese fast food or even sit down restaurants, which care more about food and turnover than service :). Parking is ample in the plaza's lot and there is a kiosk to order if you don't want to wait in line.

I appreciate the vegetarian dishes... Ordering online is so convenient! 4 stars for that alone! If you like your Asian dishes w lots of spicy flavors.. I think you will like it here. I am solely rating on vegetarian and pescatarian dishes as I don't eat meat except seafood. I appreciate their vegetarian Hot & sour soup. I can't help but to think most of the stir fried dishes looks/tastes like PF changs.. hopefully much healthier! If you like your dishes with lots of spices... I'm going to guess you will enjoy the stir fried meals here. I will give it another try. Didn't take a pic but I would go back just for the baked veggie egg rolls. You can't get these from your local take out or Asian restaurants! You can tell they're different but yes, much healthier than your average egg rolls. Again, I appreciate vegetarian dishes. I will come back to order the soup & egg roll for sure.

Steamed Dumplings, white rice, plus more

Thankfully they were, because that's when I found Zach and the Mung bean. The establishment doubles as a vitamin/supplement shop, in addition to serving up fresh juice and smoothies. The options are plentiful (juices, smoothies, wheatgrass shots) and REAL! Unlike some major chains who use fruit concentrate, etc. All the fruits and veggies used are kept in a large double door cooler towards the back of the store. If you're getting a juice, they'll juice it to order and right in front of you. I was given a few samples of other customer juice/smoothie orders, in a 1oz taster which is a nice touch but also a good strategy to keep you coming back to potentially order something new the next time around. Overall the customer service is great, the ingredients are quality, and the prices are fair!

If you're visiting for the first time, those are the dishes to try. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and service is always quick and efficient. The only downside is that they don't serve hard liquor, but they do offer beer, sake, and tea. Their homemade chili oil is absolutely on point and adds the perfect kick to just about everything. What keeps us coming back isn't just the food it's also the outstanding service. Our waitress, "Cherry", has become one of the reasons we love dining here. "Cherry" always goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and taken care of. Another huge plus is the ample parking, so there's never any stress about finding a spot. Great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere make this a place we'll continue to visit again and again.

No flavor at all, I had to add too much soy sauce - not great. There were no chinese veggies, no bokchoy, no watercrests, no mushrooms. It was broccoli, carrots, celery, and baby corn (2 pieces!) First of all $17 for a dinner dish that doesn't come with fried rice or soup or eggroll? Sorry I never really put negative reviews but I feel like the hype of this place out weighs its value.

Unfortunately, things have definitely changed. The vibe that once made this place special just isn't there anymore. On a Friday night, the atmosphere feels flat, and even the lighting could use some work (Too Bright) it would benefit from being dimmed to create a more inviting and energetic setting. The staff doesn't seem as engaged as they once were, and sadly, the food isn't hitting the same either. The biggest disappointment, however, has been the music. The DJs don't seem to know how to read the crowd. When most of the room is sitting down and barely even bobbing their heads, it's probably time to switch things up and get some energy flowing. The one bright spot is Mike behind the bar. He's still on point, keeps the drinks coming, and provides the level of service that keeps customers happy. I truly enjoyed this place in the past, which makes it even more disappointing to see it heading in this direction. I'm hoping management takes notice and brings back the atmosphere that made people want to keep coming back.

The meat and vegetables were well- seasoned not salty. Portion size was very satisfying, definitely enough to enjoy at a later time. We usually don't leave room for dessert but today we made an exception and went all in. The Oolong Tea Cheesecake was delicate, with light flavors and a smooth texture. The Momo Musu and the Mango Mousse Bear were exceptional. We immediately enjoyed the Peach and Mango flavors, the overall presentation, and the fresh fruit and whipped cream that accompanied it. I usually eat inside the restaurant, but today I placed a to-go "You Pick Two" order, and the quality was completely different. The salad portion was much smaller than it should be, several ingredients were missing, and the few ingredients included were not fresh at all. The half sandwich was also incomplete. For the amount of money I pay sometimes twice a week this is not worth it. When I eat inside the restaurant, the salad portions are larger and the sandwiches are complete, so this inconsistency is very frustrating. I also want to add that I drive 15 minutes to get to this location, and after discovering the issues with my order, I did not want to drive back just to make a claim. Customers should not have to spend extra time and gas to correct mistakes. Additionally, the tables are often dirty, and they allow non-customers to use the bathroom. There are frequently homeless individuals using the restroom, and because of what goes on in there, I did not feel safe taking my children to use it. This situation needs to be taken seriously by management. A supervisor should address the food quality, cleanliness, and safety concerns immediately. As a loyal customer, I expect much better from Panera.
