Sammy was awesome in taking care of my vehicle when it became disabled after a strut broke as I was driving over a speed bump. Sammy found a rusted weld that had failed. I'm thankful it did not break while on the freeway! He let my tow truck driver deliver my vehicle straight into the repair bay, and after he inspected it and quoted the cost, he apologized for the amount -- but it actually was extremely reasonable. An irritating squeak in the rear of the car had started almost a year ago. I tried twice to find it and lubricate it, jacking it up, removing the rear wheels and tires, power washing any dirt off, and then lubing everything that moved with silicone. Sammy and his team figured out in no time that was the spare tire squeaking because it was a little loose. I never thought of the spare tire as the source! This is my goto shop to clean up the mess that other shops create as I have noted elsewhere in these pages. I took my yr 2000 Accord here today to replace the remaining 2 ignition coils that another shop said they replaced 20k miles ago and have been failing ever since. The replaced coils of today were found to be original Honda parts and obviously were not replaced like the other shop claimed they did for all six coils. I also had NB replace the spark plugs that the other shop said they replaced but I doubt they did. This fix made my Accord run noticably smoother and will save me on gas consumption. This visit should not have been needed but for the unscrupulous practice of the other shop but now that it was set right by NB, its a needed investment in the safety of family members that drive this car read more

The family who runs this shop will (1) tactfully tell you what's wrong with the car, (2) tell you what's NOT wrong, and (3) tell you what's the least expensive way out of your predicament. The first time that I knew this is going to be my mechanic for life was when the owner asked if I needed to use his Volvo to run my errands as my car would take a few hours to fix. The second time was after going to the Honda dealership and they told me I had a $1000 repair job on my car. NB Exxon said all I need was some new break pads and the rest can last me another year before I need to fix it. This is the type of business that is rare to find in this day in age. Definitely one of the best auto shops in Texas. On a scale of 1 to 10, they get a 10 on customer service, a 10 for honesty, a 10 for reasonable prices and a 10 for reliable fixes. I'm not a fan of coming all the way into Richardson for stuff, but after coming here once for an oil change I knew that this place will take care of you. I've been here for oil changes on multiple occasions. While waiting for them to work on my car I always see their regulars shoot the shit with the owners. I've seen them help out a person get some air into her flat tire just so she can make it to a tire shop. That was enough for me to see that this place will take care of you. They might not be the cheapest for an oil change(synthetic), but at least I know they're doing it right. read more

I was very disappointed as a women to go in for a oil change and inspection sticker for the mechanic to intentionally unplug a hose that caused my engine light to come on. I have a friend who is a mechanic that informed me this is why my engine light was on before. The day I drove out of the shop my car was acting strange. They replaced blinker's bulb without consulting with me and then informed me about the replacement, I was also explained how complicated replacing bulbs in Ford cars is.
